Fresh Pair alert! Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha to star in 'Ittefaq' remake
Lately, there has been a welcome change in the trend of the lead pair casting in the tinsel town. Recently, quite a few fresh and unusual jodis have been brought out in Bollywood movies.
Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in Ki and Ka, Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in Baar Baar Dekho, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan/Anushka Sharma in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ranveer Singh with Vaani Kapoor in Befikre are but a few to name.
The latest fresh pair to join the line is that of Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra. The duo will be seen sharing the screen space together for the first time in what is being reported to be a remake of Ittefak. The cult film Ittefak was directed by Yash Chopra and starred Rajesh Khanna and Nanda in the lead roles. The movie is a murder mystery in which the husband kills his wife in a fit of anger.
As per reports, the duo will begin shooting for the said film in the year 2017. Currently Sonakshi is busy promoting her upcoming action flick Akira and Sid is also on a promotional spree of Baar Baar Dekho.
