Notice one thing, she did not start with her accusations UNTIL Om brought her family to the table. So to me it looked like all her accusations started as a knee-jerk reaction or defense mechanism cuz he tried to insult her family. Any normal person would react in the same way, and since she is a congirl her actions further need not be justified. Indeed, she is a hypocrite for doing this cuz she was the one who meddled in his life first, but that's her job na! Meddling in people's lives to attain money in a dishonest way. But in her POV this does not give anyone an excuse to question her family values and upbringing and she is right in her own way because aren't we all extra possessive and sensitive when it comes to family? Why should she be any different just cuz she is a congirl?
And ofc two wrongs don't make a right. But I don't think she was trying to prove herself as right to anyone. As she said, she does not even care what the Oberois think of her because they themselves are no saints. The difference is, she knows that she is wrong and her work is dishonest and does not parade on about honesty and righteousness. This was her point. That the Oberois themselves are so dishonest and shady but in front of the world put on a facade of being saints while in reality they are far from it.
And I don't agree about her blabber about using gareebi as an excuse for conning people! That's the only part of her speech I had a problem with.
ETA: I agree with you about Shivaay. It was so unlike him not to get her arrested, even after he knew how much harm she could have caused to his brother and potentially even his family. 🥱

Om questioned the upbringing wen she said Truth is a luxury only riches can afford and its easy to sit in luxurious houses and lecture on Truth and Morals...she provoked him in a way to question her values and upbringing. Yes exactly, it was a defense mechanism.
@Bold: She is a hypocrite I agree and that's her job I agree again, but then y not accept it as it is and why shed bucketful of tears to justify her reasons behind conning people and why not walk away with confidence than dragging and insulting every member of Oberoi family, the entire scene of accusing every single Oberoi and talking about the Maha Aarti incident doesn't make sense coz she wanted to get married in the same dishonest family!
I felt she did not expect Shivay and Rudra to be hearing everything and appear all of a sudden over there😆 She looked nervous, scared and shaken for a moment and then she said I don't care what u ppl think of me bcz I am what I am and know how my family is...my answer to her would hav been. good if she knows what she is and how her family is, she should mind her own family and let others mind their own!
Oberois never claimed to be saint either...Shivay always said that people are a shade of grey and Om knew that his family and Shivay did not let the Maha Aarti incident appear on any newspaper or news channel...Shivay always said that in business they have to use all kinds of means and Om very well knows about how his dad is...Rudra is a playboy is a known fact...What Ishana said was nothing we all or Om already did not know!
I hope Shivay gets her arrested but now attention would be on Mallika so I don't think these people are going to discuss further on whatever happened with Ishana
