Has the concept of Beauty changed in Bollywood?

Few years ago a beautiful woman was judged on her characteristics like very long hair, a long nose, a strong hips and broad shoulders. Now most heroines have very short hair, they are stick thin with almost no chest and a hint of white skin or make up is all it is required to be called beautiful and then there is instagram and photoshop to make up for whats missing.

I dont care about anything but that chest part concept should be changed it is getting flat day by day.

actresses need to develop bigger boobs. i dont like walls. i dont like these model who follow kate moss diet. i will prefer cindy crawford type😉

A women with no meat its not beautiful...and obviously that long hair!😳

Very interesting topic.

I think beauty in Bollywood has become more prototypical these days. There is a formula. The 'actress' has to be tall, thin and fair- TTF. Most of the new girls fit into the same mould.

Long vs short hair- I think that's a reflection of changing times. Very long hair isn't in fashion these days. Plus, I don't think a woman HAS to have long hair to be beautiful. It would be nice to see someone with a pixie cut in BW.

Thin is in- This is the reason Sonakshi isn't popular with male audiences. Her body actually would have been fine till the 80s/90s, but now, Western influence and changing tastes mean a woman has to be quite skinny to be considered pretty.

There isn't a diverse representation of beauty. It is very one-dimensional. Unless you're a Katrina or DP, you're not beautiful. Most girls watching these movies do not see girls who look like them on screen.

Even girls with normal hair are suppose to come out to dry them. But Long hairs are easy to grab so i root for long hair too
