The lone tear which escapes out of Dev's eye has touched my heart like never before.

A self-made, strong and confident person like Dev who has got everything on surface but nothing if u see in the core. Everybody in this serial has got their share of happiness atleast once in their life but has not. The only thing/person he got for himself is also take away now and that too by his own mother.

Both of the two most important women of his life are not able to understand him and support him. Dev know the point of view of the both the women but both the women are not seeing his point of view. Sona is right on her place if she wants to move on but her anger on Dev is not completely justified according to me. She knows Dev got no happiness by breaking up with her. Infact, break up has done more damage to Dev. After knowing all this also, she is angry on Dev. Sona if u cant be with him then please atleast support him and calmly and slowly help him. Either convince him to talk to him mother and give him enough time for that (remember once you only said if you love someone then you are willing to wait and no. of years don't matter) or calmly talk to him and give him proper closure. Your anger is only increasing his agony.

It really hurts to see a good soul like Dev to suffer like this. Is this the reality of this world? People like Dev who only knows how to give only suffers in their life and get no happiness at all??

Sorry but do not agree fully with you. You must remember that Sona has been hurt by him. Without thinking about the consequences he just broke up with her. If anyone has to mend his ways it is Dev himself who has to take a call. He has to talk it out with his mother that he cannot live without Sona and that both are equal for him.

Agree that Dev will himself have to talk to his mother. But Sona can be little supportive. Dev is like child who needs to be guided in such matters and complicated too and Sona only accepted him with all these flaws and she also promised to never leave him even if he did.

What I can see now is Dev is partially fulfilling his promises though not in good way (promise to never be way from him by following him everywhere though I am not justifying his stalking and his need to see her and hear him) but the I am not getting same feel from her and all those things she said seems like bas acchi acchi baatein like never leaving him, always supporting him, accepting him with his flaws and the length of waiting doesn't matter.

I agree that dev broke up with him. But I strongly feel if sona has tried to talk to him once after everything calms down a little and makes him understand that he needs to talk to his mother and he can have all the time he want as she is ready to wait, the he would have accepted it.

I think Sona has a right to be mad at him. He broke up with her and is keeping watch on her without her permission. He's not even thinking about getting back with her, but instead he wants to ruin her marriage.

Well written post...it unfortunate that two most important women of his life is unable to understand his dilemma and the pain he is going through ... .

I wish Sona had shown little maturity here...she knows Dev loves her ,she knows what forced him to take this decision..why not talk to him once to understand his POV and try convincing him ... I dont understand why trying once before giving up is considered as sign of weakness ...both the partners are equally responsible for making the relationship work

Sona's ego is hurt and that's the reason she is unable to think clearly ..she has already messed up the situation by bringing Rithvick into picture...now im waiting to see how she will clear the mess she has created for herself and Dev once Dev reassures of his love

Sorry but I do not agree with you. I fully sympathize with Dev but he has brought this situation upon him. When his mom attempted suicide, instead of talking to her about what drove her to take the extreme step, allaying her fears and assuring her of his presence in her life always, he broke up with Sonakshi. What wrong had she done ? What was her fault if Ishwari did not like her ? And the break-up was not even amicable. He could have asked her for some time to think through all this. Instead he insulted and hurt her and never bothered to turn back. What could Sonakshi have done ? Wait all her life for the man who has no courage to stand up for himself let alone her.

Just one thing why did she decided to move on so quickly and not even wait to talk to him calmly and give both of them proper closure. When one is behaving with immaturity (dev here) other should behave with maturity (sona should behave with maturity because it was dev who saw his mother dying and not sona). She would have realised in few days that dev is not over her and if then she would have talked to him calmly and given him time...dev would have agreed to talk to his mother.

When Dev broke up...he was mentally drained seeing his mother in that condition...if only sona could have wait for few days atleast.

And she should give time to herself too. Marrying immediately after break up is not idea for anyone.

Just imagine once...instead of dev's mother...if son's father/mother was in hospital what would have sona done? I think she would have asked for break up and Dev would have clearly denied for it. Even if sona would have asked him to stay away...dev would have come again and again given that he is too stubborn and he wants her desperately

Dev is getting a taste of his own medicine.

He is a successful businessman, and knows how exactly a decision can impact, in professional or personal life. At the heat of the moment, he could think of only his mother, who had taken a drastic step. He had just learned newly, that his mother did not approve of Sonakshi and hence she hurt herself so badly she could have died. So without looking at the odds he made his decision. He feels he has committed a crime by falling in love, and was so blind to the fact that his mother was affected by it. A son who only wants his mother's happiness.

Sonakshi on the other hand, tried to calm him, tried to tell him that it is too early to take a decision, wanted him to convince his mother, wanted him to stand strong, but he buckled at the first sign of trouble, he was not in a state to listen, he wanted her out. He did not want his mother to see her, lest she takes another drastic step and hence, He fires her from her job, so that she is not seen anymore. At that point, it was only his mother who mattered.

Dev realized the consequence of his actions only after he had brought his mother home safely. Inspite of loving and missing her, he could not take that step to go over and tell her that what he did was a mistake and they could try and convince his mother. He never assured Sonakshi he would be there for her.

A person who has been dropped without consideration, has no ego, has only hurt and has lost all confidence. You cant forget that all the love she had for him was rejected, and you still expect her to understand him and get him out of his depression. Why? She is no God. But, yes, she still loves him, and be it in the pretext of shouting at him, or reprimanding him for stalking her, she meets him, because that's the only way she can have a glimpse of him.
When she is screaming again and again, that their relationship is over, she is trying to convince herself more than him.
She wants to know if Dev is well, hence goes directly to his house to face the mother, knowing that she is baring herself to scorn. In all of this, she is aware, that she was his only friend, who he could share anything, and offer solace or advise, and knows he needs her, but what about him, he is not willing to meet her even halfway. But he is ready to conclude that she could not fall out of love with him so fast.
I love both Dev and Sonakshi and hope we will be able to see happier times soon. But unless Dev understands what love is, and what love gives, its no use for Sonakshi to be in his life. Because she is love. Be it in her heart or in her actions or whatever she does, its love all over.

I can see where you're coming from.

But you see, Dev did not confide in her about his mother's dilemma about their relationship. He took a one sided decision and severed all ties between them. He gave no hope or a grace period of negotiation or anything. She was surgically excised and removed from his life.

I dont think her anger is bothering him at all. it's because she appeared to put another man in his place. He admitted before he is a possessive stubborn type. Plus he isnt very emotionally strong.

Sona didn't speak ill of his mother at all. She went and handled his mother by herself.

Simply said, both are reacting badly to the breakup. Sona is adamant in forcing herself to move on, and Dev is not ready to let go.

Imagine if it was Dev who started going out with someone else first?
