Hi Friends, Does anyone has a ray of hope that this engagement won't happen? One more thing, I don't understand the logic of moving on like this by Sona. You should move on by doing something that gives you happiness when you are already unhappy. I think sona is making her life more miserable by dong this. I didn't expect this from CVs.

True but it's the only way that Dev will realize he needs and wants Sona in his life , I somehow think if this engagement does happen true Sona is unhappy but Dev will certainly start trying hard to get Sona back

Exactly.! Moving on when the wound is still fresh and raw, is not the right move, especially marriage even if it means for your parents.!
Sona is a fighter.. They should have shown her picking up the pieces and throwing herself in a career or something like this...This aspect disappointed with cv...could have done better or perhaps as this is a show they wanted heavy drama...

Rithik could have been introduced as a co worker and a good friend instead of a groom!

Not saying marriage is not an option for moving on but not this fast. You dont jump from frying pan to the fire by making such decisions.

I am upset and angry with Dev for doing this to her but upset with Sona for not thinking carefully.

Having said, I guess its the only way Dev will wake up!

If we go by the segments, even this jhatka wasn't enough for Dev. Had he actually intended to stop the ceremony, he would have reached there. . Why would he call her?
But I am sure there is more than what meets the eye. . The segment was only a part of that function.

It is high time dev does something. . If not now. . Then it will be never.

Of course Sona is wrong to rush with the wedding with such fresh wounds. . It is unfair to ritwik as well.
I think she is being Dev, impulsively taking steps to reduce the pain of rejection. . She thinks jumping to a new relationship would help her break the thoughts about dev since he can never come back to her. .
But she is wrong. . Because she won't be able to move on. Her heart still beats for him.

Not only am I hopeful, but I am certain that it won't happen. This is Indian tele. If the engagement happens, more than half the people will stop watching the show. The channel will get several gaali's. Our audience is not so mature to handle such complex dynamics between characters. Don't worry. Everything will become rosy and dandy soon!😆

Exactly, you can't marry someone for your parents happiness in the current circumstances. Then what's the difference between Dev's actions and Sona's? Both are impulsive in their own ways. Don't know if I am making any sense, my mind is out of order.

Fixing Sona's marriage as soon as the break up is very realistic..It is what that happens in real life...Any family would rush for marriage as soon as their daughter has a broken up relation...Believe me no family allows you to wait to move on and very right when Sona says she's doing it for her family...that's the reason show is so matured and realistic...
