The entire Sona-Rithvik track is too soon. Parents who are supposed to be as understanding and loving as they portray Sona's parents, will not seek a guy the next day!
Even the mature Daadi realizes that Sona needs some time.
And what surprised me most was Sona herself accepting and going ahead with this Rithvik. Also talking about her love in past tense!
You don't/can't stop loving a person if the relationship breaks!
The relationahip could have broken but not the love! There is no "pyar thi"!
Also this Elena really irks me! She was the one pushing Sona towards Dev and now switches allegiance and talks only abt Rithvik and teases Sona! This girl comes across as highly immature!

The only mature persons are Saurav, Daasi and mom!
Sona is too too mature and past!
My two cents...

So Sona is immature for wanting to move on from Dev? Why would parents want her to sulk around, crying about her ex 24/7? Her parents wanted her to see her happy, and they wanted to her to forget Dev. I think her parents are right in their decision!

remember the scene where Sona and Dev sit on top of the bonnet of the car and talk of love.. Sona tells Dev that she knows about love from one who falls in love many times.. Elena?

what was Dev's answer... i want to know of love from the person who has fallen in love only once.. that was one of the most mature dialogues spoken by Dev.. all that is now past, though he will only love Sona all his life..

I so agree. Yes parents would want their kid to move on and be happy but it is no way easy thing to do. It looks like the writers forgot that Sona was having a difficult time inbetween and then all of sudden remembered. Sona said "pyaar tha" irked me a lot. If relationship breaking meant love too goes away then millions of people would be happier. But no, just because a relationship breaks it can't stop one from loving someone.

CVs have shown us that Sona is very mature then how is it that she gave up on her love so easily? Knowing everything about Dev and his mom and mami...she knew how they were and then expect Dev not to break at a time when his Mother was at peaks of her drama? I am not justifying Dev! I am just saying that this is too fast...and the way Sona is completely giving herself into new relationship is just not like reality at all. Moving on...accepting...understanding...all are very slow process.

Elena is immature as she is young and shown to be silly-happy girl so that's expected how she is behaving.

I feel the situation for Dev and Shona is very different.A person's reaction is always outcome of the given situation so obviously it will differ.

We can'nt deny that they both love each other and there is no doubt in the love but Shona is dejected and hurt because Dev has decided to end their relationship for the sake of his mother. He did not even discuss the matter with her and like always he took the decision and announced it to shona. So she has all the rights to move on.Forgetting Dev and their love is not possible for her,is completely different thing and that is why she told everything to Rithvik so that he will be clear that his would be wife will take some time to forget her past.

On the other hand Dev is suffering because it was his decision and he knows that he did wrong to shona. He knows that he could have taken a stand for their love or at least could have given it some time. I mean c'mon they could just have stopped meeting untill Ishwari recovers and then discuss her problems with Sonakshi. An open conversation among the three would have helped to sort out things. There are other ways to handle these situations than breaking the relationship. His love for shona and his guilt to let her go has trapped him.

Hello guys... I want to say something about this... From the first episode it was shown that Sona's family is very understanding, mature and modern thinking. Then after break-up suddenly they want Sona to marry another guy to move on!...And for my surprise Sona also agreed!... I want to know that is it so easy to marry some other guy when you love someone? In my opinion she should've concentrated on her career! If she gets married to Ritwik even if he says yes after knowing everything, still it will be unfair to him. Because Sona will not be able to love him the way she loves Dev...It will take a lot of time to forget Dev... And We all know that Sona is a no nonsense straight forward girl so I think she should tell Ritwik that she can marry him but cannot promise to forget about dev completely. So better she concentrats on her career than getting married. This marriage thing is so fast in my opinion. At least she should take more time . Is it necessary to get married so soon to move on? I was not expecting this from Sona and her family.
