Hello Everyone! 😊 I have not made many posts on this forum but I visit it often and appreciate all the beautiful write-ups.
Today, I had to come to make a post to heartily appreciate the entire team of KRPKAB for doing such a fabulous job 👏 There have been points when viewers have been dissatisfied with certain developments and characters but all throughout the makers have been true to their vision - which explains why the show is going so strong today! They deserve a round of standing ovation for their ability to keep the audience glued only by showing the emotional turmoils a few characters are going through - no diverting tracks, no unnecessary melodrama, no inconsistencies. Yes, I say no inconsistencies because when I look back today, I see everything that seemed inconsistent at certain points making sense now!

My heart goes out to Dev - his helplessness, the way he is being torn between the two great loves of his life. Yes, he is very flawed but so endearing and understandable 👏 This is his story of evolution, how the perfectionist, impulsive Dev Dixit learns to balance and see the 'real' life outside his Google searches where people cannot always have the best of all the worlds, where there are no perfect sons and no perfect boyfriends - the parts he wished to play together but couldn't.

Sona - I just adore her 😳 What a beautiful character sketch of a FL. Her strength is her ability to love with all her heart. When she loved Dev, she gave her all - it was not her weakness but her strength that allowed her to put up with everything for his sake, to stand by him despite everything. And then one fine day, when the man for whom she did it all left her without second thoughts, she bounced back for herself, for her family. Yet, she cannot stop caring for him. Now that is what I call realism in a show! 👏

Ishwari - I feel pity for her. She cannot help herself. The irony however is that the very thing for which she fought this unfair battle - to retain her position in Dev's life - she is going to lose that now. She thinks she has defeated Sona but in truth she has defeated her own purpose. Her son will soon learn that she is not the 'perfect' mother he worships.

Ritwick - Finally I am so glad that the parallel lead is so likable 😃 When he loses Sona to Dev in the end, I am sure all of us will feel bad for him too - and that is quite something in the land of daily soaps!

So, to summarize, KRPKAB is one rare show that I love to watch for the ensemble, for the story itself, for the entirety of it. I can never take sides because I can understand the characters and feel their pain and compulsions.

KUDOS TO THE ENTIRE TEAM FOR SUCH A BRILLIANT JOB. AND THANKS FOR BRINGING SUCH A CLASSY SHOW TO MY LIFE 👏👏👏

Yeah, the mom-son ashirwad convo was really out of the world. They should surely get an award for it.

Sarcasm apart, I would have agreed with you fully a while ago. Lately we are seeing a lot more W*F scenes.

As of now, I would not go as far as class act. More if a meh..

I totally get your point 😊 but I wouldn't call it a mess (if you were watching the show that follows, you would know from where I come 😃). I can still relate to the characters despite everything because I have seen such people in real life. As for the ashirwad convo - that is how it has been with them for years. It is a way of life for them. Ishwari expects it as such and Dev is now paranoid about her more than ever. Lest she takes another dose of pills thinking he is ignoring her! Even yesterday when she was speaking of "thoda sa waqt" etc, he felt hurt. He has given up the dearest thing of his life for her sake - and still she feels he is giving her only "thoda sa"! So, it fits for me at least! They are not normal at any rate 😊

Very well written... Agree with you completely...👏
The essence of the show has yet not gone... It is a bad phase for our favorite onscreen couple, a rough patch in their love story... But the things will get fine soon and they'll act maturely. They just need some time.

I meant meh... average.

It's on the verge of becoming a "mess" though if the CVs aren't careful😉😉

Thanks a lot 🤗

Exactly - and time means a lot of learning and growth that was necessary too for everyone.

So, to summarize, KRPKAB is one rare show that I love to watch for the ensemble, for the story itself, for the entirety of it. I can never take sides because I can understand the characters and feel their pain and compulsions.
This one sentence is enough to cover all my thoughts. This show is so natural. There are so many scenes, instances, dialogues, people in this that we connect. Like we know them personally. I am sure Sona's current dilemma is something a lot of women have faced. Losing trust in themselves after a break up and leaving the choice to the parents. Likewise, Dev - a kid who lost his father at an impressionable age, justifiably clings to the mother, watching her struggle day in and day out to bring him up, ends up worshipping her. Oh yes. I know guys who'd gone through similar thing and they are like our Dev Dixit. And Ishwari - all I can say is her issues / insecurities / behaviour have in no way been exaggerated in the show.

You know.. even the arranged marriage scenario where Sona and Ritwik were introduced for the first time... it was done so damn naturally.. families trying to make conversation and finding common topics, overcoming the awkwardness... nothing OTT anywhere.

The makers, actors.. the whole team certainly deserves a huge round of applause.

And I hope they don't let go of these aspects that are holding the show so tightly together.

Very correct - the realism is what makes it so great for me. They have kept the characters very, very close to life and their reactions are very natural. I too have seen such people and I know that this is how it pans out in life. Dev had to break up, Sona had to try to move on, and Ritwick had to come. As I have mentioned in your post, I would have been surprised had it not happened this way. Many a times in real life the DevAkshi's don't end up together as well 🤢 But thankfully this is a show and they will come together in the end. I am enjoying their journey of self-realization and growth. Dev must find out for himself (at the cost of upsetting his mother) how much Sona means to him, Sona must find out for herself to what extent she can go (or not go) for Dev, and Ishwari must find out for herself that she has to some day let her son go and that she must walk along with him on this way and not stop him or take him out of his way.

You know.. even the arranged marriage scenario where Sona and Ritwik were introduced for the first time... it was done so damn naturally.. families trying to make conversation and finding common topics, overcoming the awkwardness... nothing OTT anywhere.

They have a great eye for detail! 👏 As I have always felt, they take care of even the minutest thing in every context. The peripherals, the body language, the dialogues - all are so in sync. Hats off really!

The makers, actors.. the whole team certainly deserves a huge round of applause.

And I hope they don't let go of these aspects that are holding the show so tightly together.

Fingers crossed 😃 I would hate to lose this show!
