I also think that this conversation is important for Ishwari during her realization phase. I think this is how it goes.
Sonakshi will tell Ishwari that she feels that Dev is troubled and is in pain. Even after all the taunts she gets show will probably request Ishwari to take care of him.When Dev gets drunk and hurts himself, Ishwari will realize that even though she was near her son, she did not know he was in pain. But even though Sona was so far from him physically, she knew he was in trouble...This will make her realize that she is no longer in sync with Dev as she thinks she is. She will also realize that Dev cannot live without her.This is just my way of thinking. Comments welcome...😊

Sona doesnt know that dev is suffering. As asha and to elena were saying dev has not even contacted or looked back.. It is just that sona feels somethibg is not right with dev...
So all she might ask is how is mr. Dixit and ishwari will say fit and fine and very happy(jhooti kaheeki)
Ishwari is not going to accept it any soon.. Dev and sona will unite first or then deal with ishwari. For that to happen dev has to take first step (even if it is a baby step)
