True! It is such a relief to see sane characters like Mama ji and Sona's family members getting due importance. It would have been terrible if the show continued to highlight Ishwari's obsessiveness while such sorted and sensible characters remained bystanders. Good to see Bose family coming into picture because honestly Sona needs their love and support. Elina and Saurabh cannot understand her or guide her the way her parents and grandmother can. Also good to see was that Sonakshi finally thought about her family, as in thought of giving their feelings a priority when all this while she was mostly only thinking and prioritising Ishwari.

Indeed Asha is just not a mother but a friend , a person that gives off her strength to her daughter when she needs it the most.
The amazing fact is that Asha didn't kick up a fus and start throwing tantrums like Ishwari. Both are mothers both love their children . Asha may been disappointed but she put her daughter's issue first and she could understand it hasn't been easy for Sona to come and talk about her relationship so instead of getting crazy and angry Asha gives her daughter strength to handle the situation.

Dear All,

"Kuch nahi sikhaya na teri maa ne..."

A stereotype taunting line one normally often hear in their Sasural... Asha uses this to strike a dil-se-dil conversation with her beautiful angel as she is seeing her fight n struggle to move on...

She knows her daughter so well.. she neither can hide her feelings.. nor has learnt to lie.. (awwwh this reminds me of Dev confessing the same about Sona the same way....😭😭😭)

Loved how Asha Ma said, we allow our kids to fall. We do get equally hurt but feel more proud to see you'll fight your own weaknesses and survive n be successful. And am proud that you are trying to move on which is so difficult esp, when your first love is incomplete and got ditched by her own love. She reminds her that her daughter has been the brave n strong person in that love relationship and she shouldn't feel any guilt. Amazing to see a mother have a heart-to-heart pep talk and removing all negativity that is flowing within her. And she prepares her with courage as Sona confide her fear to her mother... isn't it wonderful..as we grow.. our mothers become our real friends.. mature n wise who has seen the world...🤗

Love you Asha Ma...❤️

Do post in your POVs...

Love,
Sajini

So true her lines were the best because sona is strong candidate in the relationship with dev .
Dev just let go her but sona wanted that to work so true she was strong than dev and hats off to her mom she understands her well enough to console her

Yes it is true that mothers and sons share a very strong bond and father and daughters too. In most houses we see that mothers and daughters have a very tensed relationship especially during their teenage years. But that all changes when the daughters are ready to set foot into a married life and then motherhood. That is when mothers and daughters share the best relationship, that of understanding, sharing and guidance.
Coming to the topic here, like i have commented in another post today, I loved the scene between Asha and Sona. How she let her children to make choices on their own, whether it be right or wrong. And most importantly being there to catch them and help them when they hurt from their mistakes. What more could a daughter ask from a mother that such understanding and acceptance.

Fantastic Post Di

Asha Maa so very different from Ishwari Maa
Asha Maa knows it's difficult for her daughter to move on and she can say this because she knows about love , she tells Sona she was the brave one in the relationship, again she knows her daughter's weaknesses and strengths . This is what a mother is truly about
She is truly happy in her daughters happiness and she gives strength when her child needs it . I just love her character
