"God! One more party? You singhania's love to flaunt, don't you?" Taani asked her best friend, Aryan who had just handed an invitation card to her.
"Its mom & dad's 30th wedding anniversary." Aryan told her.
"So when is the party?" Aahana asked him.
"This friday." Aryan answered them as three come out of the class room.
"We have just two days and i don't even have a dress ready for the party." Taani exclaimed as the realzation dawned upon her. Aahana joined her in and both the girl started gushing over their dresses.
"I can take you girls to shopping and i will pay." Aryan offered. Taani and Aahana stopped their disscussion and look at him suspiciously.
"And what do you want us to do in return?" Taani asked him, she raised her one eye brow at him.
"One of you have to act like my girlfriend in the party." Aryan trailed off.
"Why?" Aahana questioned him.
"My mother's best friend's daughter is also coming to the party and let me tell you, she is clingy and obsessive about me." Aryan cringed away in disgust as he remembered the uncountable encounters with the obsessive lover of his.
"Obsessive lover!" Both the girls gasped in surprise, they shared a look before they burst into laughter, its not everyday they get to see the playboy Aryan singhania running away from a girl.
"Yea! And i want her to stay away from me. So you girls agree?" Aryan look at them with hopeful eyes.
Taani and Aahana shared a knowing look, they grinned at each other as they sealed the deal with Aryan.
"Deal! You are paying for our dresses and footwear." Taani and Aahana held their hand out for handshake. Aryan gave a nod in response and shook his hand with theirs.

She has been avoiding him since yesterday and he could feel anger bubbling inside him. Her ignorance. One thing he could never tolerate.
He knew she was giving him space he needed after their conversation last night, but he couldn't stand her ignorance.
With the thought of confronting her when he reach home, he left the office premises.
He was in parking area, was about to get inside his car when someone called him from behind. He turned around and found nervous Kiara standing there. She walked upto him.
"Hello, Rey."
"Hey." He gave a small nod of acknowledgement to her. They stand their in awkward silence for sometime before she decided to break it.
"Did you think about it?" Kiara asked him and he knew what she was talking about, but he didn't wanted to gave answer to her when he himself doesn't know one.
"I don't know, Kiara. I mean thing has changed over the years, i have moved on." He answered her truthfully. Even though the practical him wanted to give chance to what he can have with Kiara, but his emotional side was not ready to leave the girl who is living with him.
He wanted or not, he knew he was bound to taani in one or many ways.
"For a physical attraction, you are letting your first love go?" His mind mocked him for choosing his no strings attached relationship over his first love who was begging him to take her back.
"I let her go years back." Rey thought to himself then he turned to kiara who was still looking at him with hope filled eyes.
"I can understand, Rey. But if not as a lover, can you be my friend? I don't want to lose a friend once again." Kiara asked him emotionally, her eyes held unshed tears due to his silenced rejection.
"Off course, kiara." He replied almost immediately which brought a smile on her face.
"Thank you, Rey." Kiara whispered.
"Kiara, i know our relation can't go back to normal, but we can again start as friends." Rey said to her, to which she gave a small nod in response.
"And this friendship will again blossom into love." Kiara thought to herself with ray of hope.
"Its getting late. Do you want me to drop you home?" Rey asked her in gentle tone.
"I have my car with me, thats alright." She denied politely. Rey gave a small smile in response, he bid adieu to her and get into his car as he drove away to home.
Surprisingly, he was feeling light after his conversation with kiara. He knew he can not get into a relationship with her due to his sympathy. Sympathy with little mix of guilt, thats what he was feeling for kiara after knowing her truth.

He tried to muffle his laugh as he continued to watch her trying to cook. He was standing at the entrance of the kitchen, watching his fireball trying to cook in which was was miserably failing.
His anger towards her melted seeing her covered in flour. She was still unaware of his presence and busy in trying to kneed the flour.
"Kiddo, what are you doing?" He asked her, starling her which led her to drop the spatula on the floor. She turned around in jiffy moment and shoot daggers at him when she found him laughing his ass off.
"What the f**k! You scared me, dumb-head." Taani snapped at him.
"Those dirty words don't look good from this pretty mouth of yours." Rey said as he walked upto her.
"Why are you cooking dinner?" Rey asked he while cleaning the flour off her face.
"You are late today and i am hungry." Taani replied with a pout.
"Leave it. I will cook something for us, you go and take a bath" Rey patted her cheek softly. Taani gave a small nod in response, she ran out of the kitchen then in their bedroom to take a quick bath while he prepared dinner for them.

Yet another sigh escaped his lips, he closed his laptop and moved toward her who was looking through her shopping bags, she was seated on the bed.
"Why are you ignoring me, taani?" He crossed his arms across his chest and stare down at the girl who has managed to drove him toward edge of insanity.
"I am not ignoring you, I am just giving you time to decide about your future." Taani answered him in plain tone.
"But that doesn't mean you will stop talking to me." Anger got better off him and he snapped at her. Taani got up and stand before him, throwing daggers at him.
"Fine! Tell me your decision and i will be normal again, but until you are not sure about it, i am maintaining my distance. It was alright for me to sleep with you till there was no girl in your life and heart, but now i can't get intimate with you when i know there is some other girl in your mind and may be in heart too. Its downright disgusting for me." Taani snapped back at him and put her thoughts infront of him while her eyes blazing with anger.
Anger was bubbling up inside him, but he was glad she told him the reason behind her ignorance toward him, but it didn't lessen his anger though. Rey grabbed her shoulders and pulled her toward him with a jerk.
"I don't want her. I rejected her for you, damn it!" Rey screamed at top of his voice, leaving her numb and shocked to react.
