Geet paced furiously in her room , that scene flashing over and over in her mind . Dev entered and saw her and knew he has to do something quick . "Geet", he called her . She stopped and turned around. "What the hell was that", she questioned agitated . "Its nothing that you should worry about", he answered. "Oh , really then how many girls should I expect who will kiss you in the future", she asked furiously."Listen , you are misunderstanding",Dev tried to explain. "I am misunderstanding then its your job to tell me the truth . Listen to me very carefully Dev , I am not one of those girls who will be played and will sit and shed tears , I am very much pissed with that brother of yours only . I did not come here to be a part of any war , but to know your family and be friends with them as they are my future in laws . To be honest now , I don't even know what to think of it",she said unsure. Dev knew about Geet but this is the first time even in these years he has seen her this angry . "Geet she is just like Maan said our childhood friend , nothing more , please just leave it there and do you want to go out", he said trying to divert her mind . "Okay , I am leaving it for today and yes I will go out with you today , the stress here is killing me", she said exhausted with the turn of events. "Alright then , be ready in the evening we will go out for a movie , may be that will calm you". She nodded and he left . After him leaving she just fell on her bed closing her eyes . She was awakened by a knock on the door , she looked up to see Dev's grandmother standing there smiling with something in her hands.

"Ah , I am sorry please you could have called me if you needed anything Dadima , you should rest",she got up making her sit properly. "Its alright dear , I am really glad that Dev found such a nice girl like you for our household . Here take this , this is for you", Dadima said giving her a box. "Thank you , but what is it", she opened it to see a beautiful Pendent in it . "Its beautiful Dadi , but I can't take it". "Well you have to , you are going to marry my eldest grandson and don't worry I have given a similar one to Lina too , so Maan won't complain", saying that she handed that box over to her which Geet accepted reluctantly . "Dadima , may I ask something . Who is Lina",She asked hesitatingly. "Shes the daughter of a wealthy family like yourself Geet and their childhood friend , but I don't know what happened that she did not contact us for years now . I chose her for Maan as she was the only female other than myself he will let get close to him , he cares about her a lot .Maan too has changed he was never a difficult child . Though they are twins Maan younger by a minute but he never argued he loved his brother very much but I really don't know what has happened that they changed so much .Anyway , you should get going now", she smiled looking at Geet ."Wait a minute Dadaima, they are twins", Geet looked surprised at that piece of information , she always thought the brat was younger or something , he being of the same age was new to her. "Ah , I guess Dev did not tell you this but I am really happy dear that you accepted our family and don't worry about Maan's behavior hes the younger sibling so sometimes behaves childishly , hes not bad , I hope you will get along with him too", She requested her , Geet though was annoyed by the brat could not deny the old lady's request and nodded .

She got ready for the evening in a beautiful blue dress , she looked really pretty . She went downstairs only to be greeted by the devil himself. "Wow , Dev got himself a nice catch , a bittersweet one", He remarked . Geet ignored him and walked ahead until he got hold of her hand ."You are really very casual in your ways of love Geet . After witnessing the morning scene you still are going out with him , you sure are a forgiving one". "Let go off my hand", she said looking at his grip which only tightened . "Listen , stop behaving like a brat and let me go or I will call Dadima and Lina to witness your deeds",She threatened. "You think that scares me Geet", he said in a low voice . "And you think you scare me then you don't so kindly let me go you are wasting both our times", She said irritated , she counted ten in the back of her mind to cool off as she promised Dadima she will not say anything to him . "Oh so you are not scared of me . This is going to be really interesting , first time I am getting a girl challenging me . So what are you going to do my bandit queen shoot me here", he laughed . She looked at his hand and bit him hard . "Ouch , what are you a wild cat . Ah that hurts , its bleeding", he said. She turned just before exiting the door and showed her tongue to him to tease him . "I am not going to get it treated until you apply an ointment on this". "Then don't , I don't care of that wound, you deserved that", Saying this she looked at his hand it was bleeding pretty bad , she felt bad but then making up her mind that he deserved that she turned away walking quickly with his voice following her , "You will be the one to treat this remember".

Lina witnessed the scene she found it funny , this girl Geet is no less than a child she thought. "Maan", she called . "Hey are you okay it looks pretty bad let me treat it" , Lina said concerned."Its okay , Lina that wild cat will treat it herself", he said stubbornly . Lina laughed , "What is it with you , you have never behaved this childishly before . Are you both in kindergarten ?". "Seriously from where did he find her . I never thought she will do this",he said looking at his hand . "What are we going to do now", she asked seriously . "Nothing we will go with the plan or the plan B is always there",He said casually. "And that will be ,"Lina asked . "Simple be nice and befriend her , thats what Dev did", Maan answered. "Okay as you say .Dadima gave me this pendent its similar to Geet's",She showed him the pendant."Its really pretty but Lina will you be fine , doing this . If you are uncomfortable I don't mind dropping it . You are my dearest friend I can't let you be hurt again like four years back , I barely could ...I am sorry", he said sadly . "Maan please don't blame yourself , if it had not been for you , I would not have been alive . I treasure our friendship the most , the thing we are doing now Geet will be grateful to us one day",Lina assured. "I don't think that wild cat has thank you and sorry in her dictionary , seriously is she even a girl . I thought she might be a homely girl looking at her the first time I saw her , but no here we have a fighter", he said now wincing. "Just perfect for you", Lina mumbled . "Did you say something", Maan asked. "Nothing lets go".

Geet returned back late at night she could not have fun on her outing thanks to that devil's bleeding hand flashing in front of her . She was going to her room when she bumped into something , rather someone. "Oh the biting princess has returned", he said purposely waving his hand in front of her . She grabbed his hand finding it swollen . "Now you are grabbing my hand should I bite you too , to return the favor ,"he said mischievously .She left his hand abruptly hearing him . "Why have you not got it treated", she asked . "I told you , you have to treat it",he said adamantly. She went to her room coming out with a first aid box . "Sit", she said . "Don't worry , I told Dadima a wild cat bit me". She looked up to him furious at being called a wild cat to which he grinned . "I don't want to carry a guilt of being the cause of anyone's injuries , so sit down", she said not looking at him . He sat down , she dressed his wound gently . "Now we are even .So don't mess with me again got it", saying this she got up the stairs and went back to her room . "Thank you", his voice reached her . She turned around to see him smiling . She somewhere felt nice to see him smiling but then she reminded herself hes her enemy . Maan looked at his bandaged hand and smiled walking back to his room . There was someone else watching the whole scene .
