After watching yesterday's episode, the show is giving me feels of the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain

Since the movie was also somewhat based on Ramayana and IB too would be taking the Ramayana way in future...

In that movie Mohnish Bhel was theson from his dad's first wife and other two were real brothers, much like IB where Shivay is Shakti's son and other Om-rudra real brothers, but in the movie the three brothers loved each other to death...But it followed the Ramayana path and outsiders influenced the mother which led to the eldest son leaving the family with his wife and going to a remote village...the youngest son accompanied him

I feel IB may take a similar route, where due to misunderstandings between the brothers, Shivay (Ram)(Mohnish's character) would leave the family with his wife, Rudra (Laxman) (Saif's character) may accompany him going against his family...and Om (Bharat) (Salman's character) would take care of the business in Shivay's absence but never officially take the position of the head of Oberoi Industries which rightfully belongs to Shivay...

Between Tej and Shakti the eldest one took the position and now in the next generation too, the position belongs to the eldest of the three and that's Shivay

In Ramayana it was Kaikayi who caused the rift and in IB it would be Om's ideologies that may become a reason, as yesterday's episode hinted a little bit of Om's rigidness...he said for Shivay business is important and for him 'Truth'...he did not say Family...but for Shivay its always the family that comes first and foremost...Rudra I feel just said what he felt right at that moment but was not angry, not loud or rude, so I feel he would always side by who he feels is right...and he also loves the family...he has always seen the family fighting and he told Shivay 'I am your baby' so he may side by Shivay in future

However, a little different from the movie something that may happen in IB is the girls in the lives of the the brothers would bring the family back together again...Dadi in first episode says that these 3 would get girls who would always keep the family tied together

This is one theory but I also feel that the "Secret" that Tej and Shakti are guarding may also be a reason of the rift between the family but yeah it would be Shivay who would leave the family if at all one has to leave, he is sacrificial in nature which was shown in yesterday's episode, Om only gives importance to one thing that's Truth, so whoever he feels is truthful in the whole scenario, he would side by him

Just a thought after watching yesterday's episode :)

I think Rudra would suit Saif's character more than anythig. But I aslo think that it would be Rudra taking up the CEO position

No Ramayana or HSSH please. I want to see something fresh. don't want any of the brother treated less or more. serve them equality.
The main essense of IB are brothers..
Make them all right or all wrong.
I seriously hated yest. That all shivaay's glorification. That wasn't needed.
Makers : Treat all brothers equally please.
No raam,no laxman & no bharat please.
Let them be ShivOmRu

Rudra is the most pampered one, he just hates the fights in the family and stays away from the serious matters...he only spoke against Shivay yesterday coz Priyanka was crying but he was still not rude or disrespectful towards Shivay...he treats Shivay like his family as he has always seen his own parents and the rest of the family fighting, so him taking the CEO position seems a less possible at the moment but would love to see a carefree guy turning into a ruthless businessman

Very interesting take. I sorta noticed the parallels since the commencement of the show itself. It was very obvious with the three brothers, and the elder one not being actual brother of the other two.

What I think might happen is that in the rift between Ram and Bharat (Shivaay and Om), Tej is gonna side with his own son and something will transpire that's gonna cause Ram to set out on his vaanvas, with his wife Sita(Annika).

What about the other aspect of the story? Who is gonna be Raavan do you think. Perhaps it's a new entry. Great then, more chances of a male villain just like I always wanted. 😛

With the vanvaas track in the near future, it will be interesting to see Rudra take up the CEO position and him turning into the ruthless man without Shivaay and Om's advice

Ramayana had many villains...I think Roop would be Manthra who poinsoned Kaikayi's mind...and I think Kaikayi here would be Jhanvi...though Pinky is a loudmouth, but she is only concerned about her son and his life and well being...she is straightforward and doesn't claim to love all three brothers equally while Jhanvi says she loves all just like Kaikayi was...and in the first episode she sided with Tej wen both Pinky and Tej were waiting for their respective sons to start the Maha Aarti

Right, I've always thought Jhanvi would be Kaikayi as well, Pinky seems too straighforward and moophat to be Kaikayi. Kaykayi was sophisticated, well-spoken and stylish like Jhanvi.

Holy moly. That's a quadrangle. Shivaay-Shurpanakha(Raavan's sis)-Raavan-Annika. Wow. 😆 Gul's gonna create a khichdi if this happens at all. But I feel like she is gonna introduce a Raavan into the story after Ram(Shivaay) sets out on his vanvaas just to make their life a little less peaceful (cause all the other villains are in Oberoi mansion/Ayodhya). Oh no, another entry for Raavan's sis. 😆 Hope it's someone like Svetlana, a seductress type. 😉

Wait, Tia could be Shurpanakha but then I can't take Robin seriously as Raavan. 🤣

KVB's not gonna be the Ravaan, trust me. He's said to play a fun character anyways. But I also think that he would make a very convincing Ravaan.
