[probably because he knows he'd mess it up further, but the least he could have done is apologize, smh]

And Aman. Uff, it's better if I don't talk about him at all. Though that's just for the way he treats Meera. As you said, I'm so glad she wasn't a total pushover. I wish Riya understood her sister is to be more than a mere trophy wife. But let's hope her character is given a chance to develop too because she isn't necessarily wishing evil upon Meera. Just her idea is to get Meera's rishta finalized with Aman, failing to recognize that it is not a good idea. But at least we can hope for a better bond to build between the sisters.

It was a decent episode. Wondering how the Yograj situation is going to go down tomorrow!

It would be nice to see some development to Riya that way but as of now she does come across as shallow and self-centered to me...not in an OTT way, but in an unaware way...her opinions on people are colored by her own prejudices or in any way that benefits her...like the only reason she warmed up to Abhi was cuz he helped her manaao Sanjay.

That said, she doesn't seem malicious and I guess seems kinda innocent in her own way...hope she learns to respect and understand Meera better over time...I guess Abhi will help her with that.

It just grates on my nerves to see a well-educated, supposedly independent woman like her subscribe to the ideology that she needs to pander to a man like a bimbo...and the fact that she is forcing this on Meera is irritating too.

aman is such a douche tho he's just so rude and arrogant and authoritative, like thoping his orders on meera and all he just doesn't look sanjay's relative in any way caz sanjay is so understanding and nice he treats ria with so much respect too while aman is total opposite. the other thing i am hating so much is the fact that nobody actually tried asking meera even once if she likes aman or no ria is all about u r marrying him marrying him all the time uhhh hullo ?? did u ask for her marzi caz i thought this meeting was to get to know each other and take a decision

but why yaar why is abhi so incredibly nice ? aaj mujhe abhi pe gussa aaya caz come on why is he always taking the blame he's a human after all har kisi ka blame apne uppar leta rehta hai yaar bas bhi kar kabhi toh doosron ko bhi apni galti ka ehsaas hone do aur daant khane do had hai yaar itna nice hona acha nahi hai esp in long run. like i know he was just doing it for amma but still it made me mad and i love him Just FYI lol . i really hope he find s a way to solve this maybe sanjay bhaiya can give him advance for the wedding booking or something but i know meera will help him in some way or other

😆 The world is always unfair like that...one person has to end up being incredibly nice and responsible in a family filled with irresponsible, shameless people😆

I was kinda miffed with Abhi for doing this too but I understood that it's part of his personality to do this...only thing is that it's part of Meera's personality to do this too...it will be funny to see both of them trying to outdo each other in taking the blame of problems for each other😆

Hopefully they can both manage to teach other that instead of taking all the blame on themselves, they need to tackle the crazy Pants and teach them some responsibility and maturity...actually basic ETHICS firstly.

These two are charming. Maybe it's the mayhem around them or the fact they genuinely bring that calm, smile to each other which makes you root for them.
They need to develop Meera a bit more especially in terms of her family, the whole yo-yo there is annoying but for now I am happy they are making her "aware" atleast .

With Abhi, it's a fine balance, i really hope they don't overplay the dukhi aadmi playcard for him and let the man break free.

Abhi and Meera has that endearing quality and so much scope , I really hope they handle it well.

Not too fond of Daddy Abhi coming soon in the picture..hmm, but we will see.

Hi.

Hi Genie...are you out of your bottle today? :P Feeling better now?

Re: Meera...I think she is being better developed since last week...doesn't feel as aimless anymore because I feel the story and interactions are moving now. Didn't find her a "yo-yo" last week.

Re: Abhi...Yes they need to be careful with not overplaying this "dukhi aatma" card with him for sure...it's understandable as a basic character trait but too much of it will drag the story down...right now, it's Priyansh's acting that maintains that fine balance imo.

Better and Bottle be boring.
Meera was better this week but I meant her family. I don't et their reactions, they need to devote a bit of independent time setting up her family members , unless they aren't suppose to be around.

You still sound cranky and bored...Olympics withdrawal?😆

Right now, there isn't really scope for Meera's family (I presume you mean her parents) to be developed more since Meera is staying at Pant Bhavan...Riya can still interact with her cuz she's in the same place...the parents will probably come into play only when shaadi talks become more front and center...maybe if Meera refuses to marry Aman.

The show essentially is meant to focus on the Pant family in any case it seems...if the title and the promos are anything to go by.

Sanjay does seem like a nice guy...and genuinely cares about Abhi.

Caps of Fingers Crossed...😆
Don't know if its part of Abhishek's character or PJ doing... 🤔 feel more like former one but they dint made it obvious by any camera pan ...

Aww those caps💔...thanks for posting, Asmita! Some wonderful emoting from PJ in this scene as well...his immense love for Amma shines through as he silently asks forgiveness for lying to her.
