Read all the chapters in one go.

Nice story, I'm really enjoying it.

Poor Khushi, I felt so bad for her. But now as she got married to Arnav, he will replenish her life with immense happiness. Though it gonna be a bit difficult as Arnav's mom seems not a nice lady. But I'm gkad that Arnav is right there by her side, so he will fix everything soon.

Arnav's siblings madhu and Akash are really awesome.

Looking forward for some romance in next update.

Chapter 5

Arnav knocked on the door of Khushi's room, Khushi opened the door and saw him standing. She looked at his face, seeing him she could guess how much he is in hurt, she didn't ask him anything and moved away to let him come. Arnav walked in and took sit on the sofa.

"You okay?" Khushi asked worried but Arnav didn't say her anything, he hide his face with his palm when Khushi saw his hand was bleeding, she ran to him and took his hand in her saying, "Your hand is bleeding.. What were you doing?" She shook her head with sigh and looked around to find the first aid box but as she was new, she didn't know where it kept, so she quickly tore her saree's edge and going to wipe the blood when Arnav took back his hand. Khushi looked at him confuse.

"I am fine Khushi.."

"What fine? It's bleeding.." She was almost in tears seeing the blood. She took his hand again but Arnav was going to take back but she glared at him saying, "Don't act like a child, please." Arnav looked at her, he could see the concern in her eyes. Khushi wiped the blood while blowing when Arnav said, "Some wounds has no treatment.."

Khushi looked up at him confused, she could see the glint of tear in his eyes, "For me, today my family is not happy, you are not happy." He blinked his eyes to clear his vision, "You know Khushi, for the first time maa is against on my decision."

Khushi didn't say anything, she tied the cloth on his hand but she had a small curve on her lips which Arnav noticed, "You are smiling?"

Khushi looked at him and worriedly said, "No. No.. Don't get me wrong Arnav jee. I am smiling on your words." Khushi took his hand in hers, "Arnav jee, she's your mother, she has all rights on you. She doesn't like me that's why she behaved in such way and if I would be at her place, then may be I would do the same. You think no..! You went to Kullu for meeting but instead of finishing your work, you married me, your family already choose someone for you. This behaviour is obvious for them to see you with someone else. Arnav jee, it's not important that they should do the same which you want.. Right?"

Arnav stared at her for some good seconds and then said, "How can you be so casual Khushi? Maa told you so much, but still you are so calm, you have this beautiful smile on your face. How?"

"Because I trust you. I know you will make things correct." She said with a gentle smile. Somewhere Arnav felt relief talking with her, he placed his other hand on her saying, "But Khushi I am sorry.. Today for me.. Maa behaved with you badly. For me you are going through..." But Khushi cut him saying, "She is your maa, and in relation mine too.. So, I never feel bad. Don't worry. And forget everything." They exchanged smile when suddenly both realized they were holding their hands, Arnav took back his hand, Khushi too moved back, having her eyes down.

"Eh..! Arnav jee.. Can.. Can I tell you something?" Khushi said looking away when she saw him nodding, "Eh.. I know mummy jee isn't liking me to staying here, she even has objection if I stay in that flat."

"So?!" Arnav asked in his husky voice.

Khushi looked up at him, she was playing with her fingers in nervousness, "So, I am thinking, I should stay somewhere else until mummy jee..!" But before she could complete, Arnav stood up from the sofa furiously, Khushi too got up worried, "Please.. Please don't get me wrong Arnav jee.. I can't see your and mummy jee relation get affected for me that's why I am saying. It's my family too, how can I let it break..?"

"Khushi its true, this is my family and its also true you are my wife, I want both in my life. I have responsibility in both side, I can't choose anyone from these. So please don't say this again. While taking vows I took a vow to keep you safe always and I will do it." He said holding her by her shoulders, she looked down with a slight smile.

"But Arnav jee, don't say about us to family, especially mummy jee and papa jee. I don't know what would be their reaction."

"I know Khushi. First I will talk with Lavanya. But let her come back from Australia. Don't worry, I will not say anything to anyone." He said to her with assuring smile when they heard Anjali asking, "What are you talking about chhote? What should not tell anyone?" Khushi and Arnav looked at her shocked as well as worried.

"Di you? When did you come?" Arnav tried to change the topic. But Anjali suspiciously asked, "What happened chhote? You are hiding something right?"

"Di.. Actually.." Arnav looked at Khushi who looked down worried when they heard Madhu walked in saying, "I know what bro is hiding."

"Madhu? What's going on here? Can anyone please tell me?" Anjali yelled.

"Di.. Calm down.. You take sit here." Madhu made her sit on the sofa, "Di.. Actually.." Madhu looked at Arnav and Khushi, "Di.. Khushi is bro's wife."

"What??" Anjali stood up shockingly, "But how? When did this happen? But chhote you said.. She is your employee's daughter. You lied?"

Arnav walked to her, "Di.. Relax.. I am explaining you everything." and then Arnav explained everything to her. Anjali looked at Khushi who was looking down all the time, Anjali didn't reply to Arnav, she walked to Khushi and cupped her face and made her look at her, "You are so beautiful Khushi." She said smiling and hugged her making everyone shocked.

"Di? You aren't angry?" Madhu asked approaching to them.

"No. I am not Madhu. I like her already when I first saw her. But I am angry on you chhote, you hide it from your di but you told this Madhu everything, this is not done."

Arnav walked to her and apologized holding his ears, "Sorry di..!"

"It's okay.." She hugged Arnav happily. "But maa.. Papa..!" Anjali asked worried.

"I asked him not to tell anything to them right now." Khushi said looking down.

"Yes.. Khushi is right.. We know maa, she will not accept her, Arnav you first talk with Lavanya. She is your friend, she will understand it. Once you clear everything to her, then we will tell our family." Arnav nodded.

"I must say chhote, you have a good choice." Anjali said caressing Khushi's cheek when Arnav shyly looked down, both sisters laughed, Arnav glared at them as both were teasing him, "Shall we go back now? Let her take some rest." Arnav said shaking his head.

"Oho.. So much concern from now?" Madhu teased when Arnav hit on her head playfully saying, "Let's go." Khushi shyly smiled seeing them fighting like child when Anjali stopped them.

"Khushi you take rest now." Anjali said and then they were going to leave when Arnav looked at Khushi "Khushi if you want anything then tell me.." He stopped and looked at his sisters who were smiling in a nostalgic way, "I.. I mean you can call Madhu or Anjali di.." He said aw looked at his sisters, they laughed, he again hit on Madhu's head saying, "Shut up..! Stop showing your teeth and let's go." Saying this he once again looked at Khushi with a smile and took leave.

They all took a leave when Khushi smiled.. She recalled her small antics with her father and her eyes get teary, she slept on bed and was crying and soon drifted in sleep..
