ShivIka OS-Lovestruck

Hey guys,back with yet another ShivIka OS.It took me two hours to finish this as i started writing it at 2am and could finish at 4am only thus sacrificing my sleep😭Hope it's worth my sacrifice😳😳

N.B-This too will get merged with my ongoin FF.

i tried to use different writing style to make it less confusing with the flashbacks.Hope you guys won't get confused though.And ignore typos😃

The broken locks were a warning you got inside my head

I tried my best to be guarded,I'm an open book instead.

I still see your reflection inside of my eyes that are looking for purpose,

They are still looking for life,I'm falling apart,I'm barely breathing

The lyrics of the song kept playing in Shivaay's mind as he tossed on his left side yet again on his bed trying to catch some sleep.Unable to keep up with it any longer,he hopped out of his bed pushing the duvet.Dripping his feet on the cold water of the pool,he sat on the pool area adjacent to his room.Shivaay ran his fingers through his otherwise gelled hair which was now a bit messy and closed his eyes to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

"Her Smile,Her Blabbering,Her Care,Her Tears,Her Touch,Her Pain,Her Bruises"flashed before his eyes and he shut open them.

"Damn her!Why does she keeps on giving me sleepless nights?" a frustrated Shivaay asked himself

Trying to divert her thoughts he walked upto his bookshelf and picked up a book randomly and started reading it.

"You know you are in love when:

1. You experience sleepless nights

2. That one person keeps invading your thoughts even when you desperately want it to stop.

3. His/her happiness matters to you more than yours

4. His/her pain makes you flinch.

5. You feel jealous if he/she shares his/her happiness/sadness with someone other than you and if he/she praises someone else over you.

6. If...

"That's it!I'm not going to read it any further.How did it even come to my room?"Shivaay said confused with irritation."Rudra!"

"Bhaiya,just read this book once,it will help you a lot"said Rudra keeping the book on the bookshelf.

"Rudra,stop irritating me.I'm working on a presentation."said Shivaay without looking at Rudra.

Great!Here he was having sleepless nights and there his stupid of a brother was adding more to it.Collecting his thoughts, he sat on the sofa and closed his eyes,yet again,trying to catch some much needed sleep.But his mind had other plans.His mind drifted to all the symptoms that were clearly indicating he had fallen in love.The song lyrics kept on playing in his mind on its own accord while his closed eyes kept on rereading the write ups he read a while back.

Shivaay,mark my words,

Ek din teri zindagi kisi aur ki ho jayegi aur tujhe pata bhi nahi chalega.

Royegi woh,par aason tere behayegi

Chot usse lagegi,par dard tujhe hoga.

Saansein uski rukenge,but dum..dum tera ghuthega

Aur uss din,duniya ka koi bhi takat,koi bhi paisa,koi bhi naam tera kaam nahi ayega"

Shivaay's eyes flung opened and he stood up with a jerk.His heart started beating unusually faster.He opened his mouth to catch his breath trying to normalize his frenetic heart.

"This can't be true,this can't be true!" Shivaay kept on repeating while pacing in his room.

"I'm not capable of loving anyone else other than my brothers and family.Definitely not her.Hell,I hate her.I was supposed to hate her not fall in love with her.Shivaay calm down,just calm down!You are Not in love so just calm down." Shivaay said to himself,.

Taking a deep breath,he took a sip of water from his glass.

"Water!God,again that girl!"he shook his head.

"Look Shivaay,"he continued trying to convince himself "your are not in love.She is everything that you hate.She doesn't have a family name,uses cheap words,keeps throwing things,names her belongings,calls you with weird names.She doesn't belong here Shivaay. She doesn't belong to You.She hates you,in fact.She can never love you" Shivaay was completely lost in his thoughts that he forgot he was suppose to convince himself of not loving her.

He remembered how when she broke down that day in the rain,and he had felt bad when he was meant to rejoice about it.How he had felt bad when she was singing songs of praises for Om on the Rakshabandan day.How her touch had made his heart explod with emotions when he had caught her in his arms,when he fell on top of her on his bed,when she fell onto him while adjusting his wig.How she had cared for his dadi,sister and brothers.How the hand mark that he had felt on her hand during the pool encounter,now pained him.He reflected on all the points he read on the book,Om had told him and the song lyrics.All of these were screaming that he,Shivaay Singh Oberoi, had fallen in love with a girl with no lineage,bloodline and money.

From the sheer intensity of his new found realization,a shiver ran down his spine when he thought of the last line of Om's saying,"Saansein uski rukenge,but dum..dum tera ghuthega". And that was exactly the time,he accepted his feelings for her.

Shaking his head vigorously,he sat on the edge of the bed trying to erase the last thought and wishing this never come true,he finally admitted to himself"I love her.I love Anika."A lone tear of joy escaped his sea blue eyes.

Om was working on his sculpture in his working place,when he heard the room door open.Knowing very well

who it was,he asked without meeting his eyes,

"Soyaa nahi abtak?"a constant smile adorn his lips.But no response came from the other side.He could feel Shivaay was near him now but he frowned when Shivaay didn't answer him.Om looked at Shivaay, keeping his tools on the side table.A blank expression was on Shivaay's face.

"What happened?Are you fine?"asked a concerned Om.

"Sach mein dhal jate hai kisse,Dil se dohrane ke baad,

Ishq par hoga yakeen,Ishq ho jane ki baad"Shivaay replied after a long pause.

Om's face shifted from confusion to shocked with his eyes widening to realization with a wide grin.Finally,he laughed at this untimely realization of his brother.

"I 'm in love Omkara.The mighty Shivaay Singh Oberoi is in love with an ordinary girl."Shivaay said breaking down onto his knees with tears streaming out his eyes.

"You were right Omkara when you said,I would only understand the power of love once I fall in love with someone..And tonight,I did.I love her.I love her so very much.I can't live without her now.Dadi was also right when she said, to gamble my heart with someone whom I can't live without and not someone with whom I can.All this time,I kept on fighting with her thinking she dared to speak against me,against my principals but I was so naive to not understand that I loved her all along.I loved her ever since we first met.Her ranging eyes,Her passion,her anger,I love everything about her.I now love all the things about her that used to annoy me"said Shivaay leaving a chuckle at the last line.

Om who was listening to his brother confession all this while having a known look of 'I told you before' was smiling ear to ear.He dropped down to Shivaay's level and hugged him tightly.His happiness knew no bound.Finally the day had come when his brother wouldl think about himself,the day had come when someone would give his brother undivided,true love that his brother craved for his whole life.Om knew Anika was the perfect match for this coconut of a brother.She planted a flower in the stone and now this flower was blossoming with the Sun of her smile and joyous waterdrops of her eyes.( well,Shivaay won't have to worry for rain for Anika is there to provide that with her water throwing skills)Om mentally laughed at his own joke.Shivaay deserved those though.

He broke the hug when he felt Shivaay wasn't reciprocating the hug.

'Will she forgive me?Will she accept me?Will she love me?Will she allow me to love her?"Shivaay asked Om, lost in thought.

"Of course She will.But only if you show her the real Shivaay not Shivaay Oberoi.She will have no option but to fall in love with you then.After all you are a gem of a person.Just go and tell her,ok!"Om said giving his brother confidence.

Shivaay got up,hugged Om and went to his room.Determined that he would confess his love to her before losing any more time He will confess his love tomorrow to her and then would leave it to her whether to break his heart or to mould it into a new shape with her love for his heart now belonged to her.He had given his heart to her knowing very well that she could break it easily with a simple No.

"Anika"escaped from his mouth.

The girl who now held the power to make him or break him and he was willing to take the risk.Either way he would keep loving her,anyway.
