the fact was he used to be lyric writer makes him all out standing

no music composer was all in one composer singer lyric writer

Ravindra Jain (28 February 1944 - 9 October 2015) was an Indian music composer and lyricist.^[1] He won the Filmfare Best Music Director Award in 1985. He was born blind and hailed from Aligarh. He was a role model for many people as he overcame his disability of blindness

Cannot believe that he didnt win awards for Chitchor, Ankhiyon ke Jharokon se and Geet Gata Chal, although he was nominated. All these movies songs were hugely popular, especially Chitchor and Geet Gata Chal.

He mostly composed for Rajshri Films and most of those songs were hits.
