Chapter 9(A)
In Ojha house, Murlidhar & Bhadresh were gossiping about Rutu & Vasant. They were not able to understand that Rutu is mad behind Vasant, she is Varshas friend, Vasant doesn't talk to her much, but Varsha likes her. It was so confusing. The more they talked the more they got confused. After some time, Ronnie along with Vasant enters the house. Seeing them they change the topic.
Bhadresh says, "Shri shri Ghotala, aapko toh pata hai, yeah apna Chandru, Chandrabhan, kitni ghatiya shayari sunata hai."
Murlidhar interrupts, "Haan, aur Jhallar mhare jaise, mhare jaise prasidh Rajasthani, mashur super model, Murlidhar ojha ka sadhu Bhai hokar, mhara naak katwata hai."
Ronnie wants to speaks, tries to speak, but Bhadresh interrupts, "Kaka Murli! Hume pata hai, lekin muda yeah hai, ki ab usse shayari bolne ka mauka hi nahi dena hai. Toh uske liye, Ronnie ke dimag ka mast ek idea aaya hai mujhe."
Ronnie wonders how his mind idea dint come to his mind but went to Bhadresh mind, "Yeah kab hua man?"
Bhadresh says, "Wala, bus abhi thodi hi der pehle aaya. Haan Haan, pata hai credit tujhe hi dunga, lekin pehle idea bolu, thik hai chal tu hi bolde same maja aayega."
Before Ronnie speaks Murlidhar interrupts, "Yeah jhallar ke bolega Bhadresh! Tu hi bol. Alsi ram kahinka. Heen."
Bhadresh says, "Thik hai thik hai, me batata huu. Toh Ronnie ka yeah kehna hai, ki Chandru ko shayari na bolne dene ke liye, him sab bari bari shayari bole, lekin jab Chandru ki bari aaye toh koi aur bich koi bhi baat bolde. Hoon?"
Vasant doubts on this but still agrees, "Hooon"
Bhadresh says, "Toh Chaliye hum sab practice karle ki kaise bolna hai."
Ojha uncle starts,
" Hai Thandi chai, mhare ko garam dede,
Thoda bread, toast, ya bhajia bhi dede,
Mhare ko jhor ki bhuk lagi hai,
Thodi si masala khabar hi dede..."
All do waaah waaah waaah waaah adbhut though murmuring in mind, "inko khane ke alawa aur kuch nai sujega" 😆😆
Vasant starts,
"Choti si Billi ke Chote chote Paao
Wah wah Gor FarMaye

Meao Meao"
All impressed by Vasants shayari all do waaah waah waah waah adbhut adbhut & ask him to continue. As his shayari was as boring as Chandrabhan's 😆😆
Vasant continues,
"Khuda ki mehfil se

farar ho gaye,
kuch toh pakde gaye
kuch aap jese mere yaar ho gaye"

Listening this Ronnie get's excited & wants to say one, finally he is given chance to speak,
"Close up se daant sofa(saaf) karne ka,
Pepsodent se maize-boat(mazboot) karne ka,
Colgate se fresh karne ka,
Ager phir bhi white nahi huey to
'Harpic use karne ka'.."
No one does waah waah as he used his language which went bonkers to others, vasant is again asked to continue.
"Ap kisi roz subah ko hamare ghar ana,
Kabhi ghanti bajana kabhie darwaza khatkhatana..
Kabhi pyar se bolna kabhie ghusse se chillana..
Ghotalo ghotale mat karna "
"Chulhe pe rakha twaa garm hai

In this way, Ojha uncle & Bhadresh try to fool Vasant & Ronnie just nods at whatever bhadresh says as he isn't allowed to speak. Lajjo who sees this goes out of house nodding unbelievably.
Lajjo comes out of her house & sees Anna, Bhavana, & Varsha return. Anna looked a bit of pissed off. Bhavana & Varsha on the other hand seemed lost. Bhavana immediately moves towards her home & goes inside. Varsha stands there like a statue.
Lajjo says to Varsha, "Varsha achha hua tu aa gai, woh dekh ojhaji, bhadresh aur Ronnie Vasant bhaiya ko pareshan kar rahe hain."
Hearing name Vasant Varsha reacts, "Vasant! Kahan hai Vasant!" Without any expressions on her face.
Lajjo says laughingly, "Mhare gharpe sab log aur kahan!" Varsha immediately moves towards ojha house. Varsha enters Ojha house & searches for Vasant & immediately goes towards him & hugs him tightly. The vegetable bags in hand bolded tightly too.
All 4 men were shocked . Vasant was more shocked as he couldnt understand the reason behind this. All 3 saw each other's face & gave a grin. They looked towards the couple & teased them. Vasant was irritated as he dint understand Varshas behavior plus 3 idiots were now making noise. He dint realise they were teasing them.
Vasant says, "Ek minute jara aap dono awaaz kam kijiye na. (Looking towards Varsha) Varsha kya hua? mujhe batao?"
Varsha just saw his face but dint speak. She looked like a lost frightened child. Not ready to live Vasant or even say anything. If she was asked sumthing she would look at Vasant with frightened eyes which would kill Vasant. But he couldn't understand the reason behind it.
Finally Vasant decided to free himself from Varshas tight grip & try to find out. So he pulled Varshas hands which were surrounded on his waist. But Varsha wasn't ready to free him & the bags in her hands were about to fall which Bhadresh& Ronnie catch before them falling.
Finally Vasants firm grip made Varsha leave him. But her frightened soul caught hold of his shirt near his heart so she could hold him near her & feel safe. Vasants heart was now breaking into pieces seeing his love, his life in this condition & worst being he doesn't know the reason. Bhadresh, Ronnie, Murlidhar were surprised before but now shocked on realising that matter was a bit serious.
Lajjo knowing Bhavana will now shout & blast Bhairavi for her doings thinks to save the girl & moves to Bhatt house not realizing that Varsha & Bhavana weren't in their right senses. Anna thinks should she go to Varsha bhabhi or to Bhavana aunty as she was thinking Sharad comes.
Sharad says, "Arey Anna tum aa gai market se? Akele aayi? Me abhi apne ghar se aa raha hun bhabhi nai aayi kya tumhare saath? Woh dikhi nai mujhe. Kahan hai Varsha bhabhi?"
Anna says teasingly, "Shharraad!! Varsha bhabhi na Mr Ghotala ke pass chali gai." & Smiles.
Sharad doesn't understand & says, "Hein" question mark on his face.
Anna smiles seeing his innocence & tells him what all happened in market. & How while returning Varsha & Bhavana were silent. Sharad thinks that what Varsha was normal & Bhavana aunty getting angry on them too is normal now a days. But Varsha turning silent on this cannot be normal. He thinks sumthing & starts to read Varshas mind. He tries hard 3-4 times but at atleast he is completely shocked & scared too.
"Anna, tum market me har waqt bhabhi ke saath hi thi na?" Asks Sharad worriedly.
Anna says, "Haan Sharad hum dono saath hi the. Tab hi toh keh rahi huu ki aunty Bhavana ke daat ki wajah se Varsha bhabhi udas hai. Lekin tum aisa kyun puchh rahe ho? Tumhe nai lagta ki Varsha bhabhi is wajah se udas hai."
"Anna tum hi socho jab se hum yahan aaye hain har roj galatiyan karte hain, humesha hume daat padti hai lekin aise kabhi ghum sum nai hua koi bhi hum mese. Lekin achha hai, tum har waqt unke saath thi, ab me tumhari memory se pata laga sakta hu ki kya hua tha. Me abhi tumhari memory copy karke apne dimag me post kar raha huu. Isse tumhari memory mitegi nahi. Toh tum ghabrao mat."said Sharad while warning Anna but assuring her too.
Anna though not sure as why Sharad is thinking it's sumthing more decides to let him do what he wants as may be this may assure him. Sharad starts copying all from market going to coming back to colony memory. After all memory enters his mind he rewinds it in his mind. & Suddenly he was shocked, angered, furious, so much that he just wanted to blast sumthing. But then he remembered Varsha & ran inside Manav's house to see his bhabhi cause he knew she must be feeling venerable.
He just stood near door & watched Varsha's plight as she was holding Vasant's shirt for support not wanting to leave him. & Vasant trying to stop her from crying & saying consoling words while smoothly moving his hands on her hair to her back.
He first controlled his emotions of anger, & his tears which were flowing from his eyes continuously but unconsciously. He wiped his tears & stayed calmed.
Meanwhile, Vasant was consoling Varsha. Murlidhar advised Vasant to make Varsha sit down on sofa. Bhadresh went to bring a glass of water from dinning table & gave it to Vasant with his hands. Ronnie was silently feeling bad as he couldn't do anything to stop his sister from crying. Though Varsha sat down on sofa, drank water from Vasant's hand not leaving his other hand as if her life was depended on his support. Sharad saw that & thought he should immediately inform Vasant about that person. So he could handle Varsha that way. He slowly went towards them as his feet wouldn't move fast. As he was nearing them he was getting more angry. But he kept his face calm or rather smiling to console Varsha. Anna who had seen Varsha hugging Vasant, thinks surely Sharad was correct, there is some big reason. She thinks to talk with aunty Bhavana. Liza who was coming outside from her house sees Anna going towards Bhatt house from Manav's house.
Liza calls out Anna, "Anna, man tum market se aa gaya man! Kab aaya? Aur abhi aunty Bhavana ke ghar kyun jata man?"
Anna tells her, "Liza bhabhi, aap chaliye aunty Bhavana ke ghar, me batati huu."
Liza suddenly remembers Bhairavi's doings, "Haha, Anna man abhi toh aunty Bhavana Bhairavi ko daat raha honga man."
Anna asks, "Kyun?"
Liza says, "Tum Chalo me tumhe batata hai. " They move towards Bhatt house.
In Bhatt house, there was pin drop silence. Bhavana was sitting on her sofa chair & she was in some deep thought. Lajjo was seeing her state & trying to talk to her by telling her what the men were doing at her place. Bhairavi & Hemant were playing chess with business coins, hotels, & houses toys.
Liza was shocked to see this. She was about to ask what happened to Bhavana but before she could say anything Anna said, "Aunty Bhavana!! Aapko pata hai abhi Varsha bhabhi ro rahi hai."
Lajjo asks, "Kyun, Varsha ro kyun rahi hai?"
Anna replies, "Pata nai aunty Lajjo, pehle mujhe laga ki shayad abhi thodi der pehle aunty Bhavana ne unko data tha is wajah se udas hain. Par Sharad ka kehna hai ki woh toh jab bhi woh log gadbad karte hain hum unhe datte hain. Par woh rote nai balki samajne ki koshish karte hain ki kya galati hui un logo se. Par is baar kuch aur baat hai. Woh bahut pareshan bhi tha. Chaliye na aunty Bhavana hum jake dekhte hai kya hua. Shayad hum unke saath baat kare toh unhe achha lage. Aur hume yeh bhi pata chale ki hua kya hai."
Lajjo thinks this will be perfect to divert Bhavana's mind from whatever she is thinking. She urges Bhavana to come with them. After few urging Bhavana comes out of her stopper & realises she had not paid attention to what they were telling her. But she decides to go with them to not enter into her disastrous life which she left years ago.
Liza was confused on Bhavana's state, Lajjo was relieved that Bhavana dint go back to her quiet self which she was few decades ago. Anna was confused on Varsha's state & Sharad's words. All four went towards Ojha house.
But seeing Bhavana not shouting at her on her doings, Bhairavi was super shocked. Her small pie size brain was confused but her heart told her, her Baa was in deep sorrow, cause otherwise she would have first one to notice her doings even before anyone told her. Hemant was confused on seeing Bhairavi confused. As he was a bit far away he could not hear that his mom was crying.
Hemant asks his dear sister, "Bhairavi didi, kya hua? Aap ruk kyun gai. Apne farsh ko hilaiye na. Phir me bhi apni sidi ko hilau."
Bhairavi smiles at her brothers smartness who not mentioning house & hotel mentioned farsh & sidi instead. As he believed in house flooring is needed best whereas in hotels stairs are needed best. She takes his balayen & says, "Haan mere bhai, me apna farsh toh hilaungi par meri Baa ne is ghar ki deeware kyun nai hilai?"
Hemant thinks & says, "Achha, Bhavana kaki ko ghar ki deeware hilana aata hai? Unse kahina mujhe bhi sikhaye. Mujhe bhi hilani hai. Woh meri goli hai na, woh gharki deeware kaati hai Bahar jane ke liye. Agar me deewar hila saku toh bechari ko bewajah mehnat na karni pade. Ek toh bechari ke pass daat bhi nai hai. Kitni takleef hoti hai na phir usse."
Bhairavi smiles at her brother's innocence once again & says, "Arey nai nai mere bhai, woh apne aawaz se hi deewar hila deti hai. Jab woh gusse se chilati hai na mujhpe toh kabhi kabhi humare ghar ki saari khidkiyan aur darwaze hil jate hain. Tab Mitesh Pritesh ke papa aisa bolted hain ki baa tune gharki saari deeware hila di. Aur baa ki tarah matlab baad me samjhate hain ki khidki aur darwaze deewar se judi hai na is liye deeware hil gai."
Hemant listens everything then understands & does "Hooon!"
All ladies reach ojha house. Varsha again hugs Vasant as she feels many people surrounding her & gets scared. Vasant understands her fright & hugs her back tightly as if taking her inside his strong built structure to not let her feel lonely & scared.
While consoling Varsha, Vasant sees Sharad standing near the sofa chair wanting to come to them & console Varsha but his eyes conveyed some message which he couldn't understand but also got confused as to why he is not telling him through mental telepathy even after seeing Varsha not ready to leave him.
Vasant was seeing Sharad & Sharad was seeing towards Vasant emotionally as if both were talking through eyes. Varsha's silent cries now turning to silent hiccup's made both of them more worried.
Vasant takes Varsha's face in his palms & tries to console her, "Varsha!! Chup ho Jao!! Ab Rona band karo chalo. Dekho sab thik hai yahan, kuch nai hua kisi ko, dekho sab thik hai. Dekho tum aur mein ek saath hain, Shishir, Pritesh Mitesh ke saath swimming karne gaya hai. Hemant Bhairavi ke saath hai. Pakka dono kuch gadbad kar rahe honge. Hai na Bhavana aunty?"
Before Bhavana replies Lajjo says, "Nai Vasant bhaiya gadbad toh nai kar rahe lekin dono chess khel rahe hain woh bhi business ke khilono ke saath."
Listening this though Vasant dint understand what they were playing, he was happy that Hemant isn't doing any gadbad. All men were shocked but dint say anything. Sharad after hearing this left a small smile on his face. Then he moves towards Vasant & Varsha.
Vasant says, "Dekho humara Hemant chess khelna sikh raha hai. Raat ko hume bhi sikhayega. Phir hum sab bhi khelenge."
Still no effect on Varsha. Though no one reacted Ojha uncle couldn't stop his Heen.
Vasant continues, "Aur dekho sab colony wale bhi thik hai. Dekho sab yahan aaye hain tumse milne aur tum ro rahi ho. Achha lagta hai kya Varsha. Aur yeah dekho Sharad! Bilkul thik hai."
Finally on listening Sharad is fine she moves her face towards him & gives a faint smile still not letting go Vasant. Sharad slowly takes her hands & makes her sit on sofa. Though Varsha doesn't deny his touch & movement she doesn't leave Vasant. Sharad controls himself & knees down Infront of her. He then slowly takes her hands & holds it firmly assuring her for everything to be fine.
Varsha understands this gesture & smiles silently. Keeps her palm on Sharad's cheeks & then kisses him in alien style.
Varsha murmurs to Sharad, "I am sorry, beta" & cries hardly, tears now flowing from her eyes continuously.
Seeing her crying all feel bad for her. Sharad wipes her tears & tells her not to cry. He then remembers why he came here. But when he sees Varsha still holding Vasant's handcuffs tightly he understands it is difficult. He has to slowly make Varsha leave Vasant's hand without frightening her further than she was.
He slowly tells Varsha, "Bhabhi, woh kya hai na, mujhe bhaiya se jaruri kaam hai. Mujhe woh Anna(acts as he is shy) ke liye ek toffa mangawana hai. Uske liye. Please main do minute ke liye bhaiya ko leke jaon. Pakka do minute me wapas chodke ke jaunga. Please!!"
Anna gets angry that even now he is thinking of her rather than consoling Varsha. All others get confused as why Sharad is lying & what is that urgent. Vasant realises there is some thing big which he can't point out & Sharad immediately wants to tell him that personally away from Varsha. He hopes Varsha agrees. & Just then he is pulled.
Varsha gets alert on hearing Sharad wants to take Vasant away from her. She pulls Vasant towards her. So no one takes him away. She nods her head in a no, refusing to Sharad.
This was the first time in these all years that Varsha had denied Sharad sumthing. Sharad felt bad not for getting refused but seeing Varsha's state. He then actions Vasant now what to do.
Vasant tells to call Rutu here as she would handle Varsha through lipsing movement.
Vasant speaks, "Varsha dekho Sharad ko do minute ka kaam hai. Do minute me, mein jaunga aur aa jaunga. Tumhe pata bhi nai chalega do minute ho gaye. Me apne superpowers se dekho jake aa jaunga."
Varsha dint move. She still held Vasant hand tightly.
Vasant sighs & tries ones more, "Varsha, dekho yahan aas paas, dekho Bhavana kaki, Lajjo aunty, Ojha uncle, Bhadresh aur yeah dekho tumhara bhai Ronnie bhi toh yahan hai. Tum akeli nai ho Varsha. Dekho Ronnie ko, woh toh ro raha hai, tumhari wajah se. Yeah dekho Anna aur Liza bhi yahan hai. Ab woh tumse gussa ho jayenge ki tumne Ronnie ko rulaya. Phir dekhna ruth mat jana. Chalo. Achha Hemant aur Bhairavi ko bulao. Abhi Bhavana kaki unhe daat ke bitha ke aai hai. Dono kitna pareshan kar rahe the. Bhavana aunty, aap Bhairavi ko phone karke bula hi lijiye. Hemant aayega Bhairavi ke saath, aur aake Varsha aur Ronnie ko company dega rone me. Aap sab phir bhag jana. Kyun ki Hemant toh dham dham chalu kar dega na. Phir yeah ghar tut jayega. " Vasant was just bluffing these things so Varsha would atleast think sumthing else. But it was as if nothing went in Varsha's ears.
Just then Manav along with Rutu entered. Rutu immediately rushed to Varsha. When Sharad had called her through his mental telepathy, though he had told that Varsha had seen HIM in market. She knew she would be terrified & worried for her child. But now seeing her like this made her realise she is more a frightened child herself. The caring friend in her immediately rushed to action.
She went towards Varsha, Sharad got aside seeing Rutu giving her space to meet Varsha & console her. Rutu slowly took both Varsha's face in her palm & made her look at her. Seeing her Varsha immediately stood up & hugged her tightly.
Rutu immediately set in to console her. In this process Varsha's grip on Vasant's handcuffs had loosen but she dint leave him as still Varsha's one hand was holding handcuff. Now Rutu slowly took Varsha's hand in hers giving Vasant & Sharad time to talk.
Immediately, Vasant actioned Sharad to come as they couldn't waste even a second. Cause if Varsha realised her grip had loosen on Vasant & not seeing Vasant around she wil worsen her condition.
Anna who wanted to know the reason behind Varsha's sudden change of behavior went behind Sharad & Vasant. Manav wanted to know why Rutu immediately ran when she was doing her research for the further action as Vasant had planned.
As soon as they reached outside the door of Ojha house, Vasant immediately asks Sharad, "Sharad beta kya hua hai? Batao mujhe, tum kyun itne pareshan ho? Kya tumhe pata hai Varsha ko..." Even before he can complete his sentence Sharad starts transferring the copied memory & his search memory to Vasant without warning or informing, as he feared if he spoke he would breakdown & currently was not the time for their breaking down but consoling & handling Varsha.
As soon as the memory was transferred, Vasant started to watch it & Sharad just watched Vasant's changing fleeting expressions.
The Memory starts...
(Note : This memory is copied from Anna's mind so it is according to what her eyes have watched & then Sharad had tried to elevate it further in watching every persons face.)
All three ladies going to market, Bhavana aunty bargaining & then Varsha starting her explanation on house grown tomato. Bhavana aunty taunting her. One man watching them from back, so doesn't see their faces. But his face was seen on the mirror kept on the vegetable vendor's table. So Vasant & Sharad could see that face easily & their blood started boiling. As they recognized him in an instant. But Varsha hadn't noticed his presence.
The ladies moved further to a grocery shop, there Varsha had wanted cashew oil & Bhavana aunty shouts at her. Though Varsha was sad due to this but still she was normal. Vasant & Sharad were confused that what was wrong in it. But they let it be as human nature & ways are still alien to them.
Just as the three turned to move out of shop, the same man was shown standing there, which meant he was following the ladies. Vasant & Sharad thanked Bhavana aunty in their minds for being there with Varsha or else she wouldn't have been there with them today.
They see that man having evil glare in his eyes when he saw Varsha's face & moves a step ahead, seeing him coming towards her Varsha was shell shocked. But soon Bhavana aunty came ahead to Varsha as she had stopped behind when her saree was tangled on a bike parked there.
Seeing Bhavana aunty he again stepped back & even turned his back to them so that his face is not seen. He has stopped in his place as he knew the ladies are coming in his direction. He sees Varsha sideways & gives her a evil smirk stating success which got Varsha more frightened but this time for her child not for herself.
Though that man had tried to hide his face from Bhavana but even she saw her when he was giving evil smirk to Varsha. Then the ladies catch a rickshaw back home & return back.
The Memory ends..
Vasant's fingers were bowled in a tight fist. With so much anger that if he hit a wall it would fall down in pieces in just one blow.
Sharad immediately holds Vasant's both hands in his hand. Squeezes them slightly to bring Vasant out of his angry trance. Vasant doesn't look towards Sharad's face as if he is ashamed to look at his face.
Sharad understanding what Vasant is going through & how low he must be feeling now said, "Bhaiya!! dekhiye jo kuch bhi hua hai usne aapki koi galati nai hai. Aapko sharminda hone ki jarurat nai hai. Uss shaks se aapka koi vasta nai hai. Aap unke jaise nai hai. Aap bahut achhe hain. Apne aap ko unse mat jodiye."
Vasant replies, "Nai Sharad, mana karne se sach badal nai jayega, sach yahi rahega ki woh shaks mera pita hai. Ussi ka khoon hu me. Aur sach swikar na karke me Maa ka apman nahi kar sakta. Me sach se bhag nai sakta. Mujhe yeah swikar karna hi hoga. Aur waise bhi woh yeh sab meri hi wajah se kar rahe hain na. Mujhe kamjhor karne ke liye. Is liye toh woh yeah sab kar rahe hain."
Sharad interferes, "Aur aap kamjhor hoke unhe unke ghande maksad me kamyaab hone dena chahte hain. Nai na. Toh phir udas mat hoyiye. Apne aapko dosh mat dijiye. Aapka unse koi wasta nai hai. Aap sirf humare hain", saying this he hugged Vasant.
As Vasant wasn't hugging him back he thought to give another strike, "Aur Bhabhi, bhabhi aapse kitna pyaar karti hai" hearing about Varsha Vasant became still trying to control himself.
Meanwhile Sharad continued, "Aur abhi bhabhi kitni tuti hui hai, kitni dari hui hai, unko abhi sirf aap sambhal sakte ho. Please is tarah se dukhi mat hoyiye. Bhabhi aur tut jayegi. Please bhaiya sambhaliye khud ko."
As Sharad was saying this Vasant realised he couldn't just stand and feel sorry or angry now was time to action. So first work first. He immediately goes inside Ojha house to Varsha but not before keeping his hand on Sharad's shoulder & telling him to take care of himself.
