Sorry but after watching the episode I could not resist myself from making a post. Today I truly wish to use all the derogatory words in the dictionary for Ishwari.
Really does she look like a mother. Forget mother she doesn't deserve to be considered a woman. Forget being remorseful she is justifying herself to everyone who comes her way. She claims to love her son but the irony is she can't even read his face. She is asking her son to stand strong when he is totally broken from within. She is such a big let down that she can't make out the difference between a facade and a true emotion.
All she is bothered is to boast her ego and insecurities.
Today I truly wish that women like Ishwari shouldn't be blessed with a kid. They don't consider them to be their kid rather they are their puppets who eat drink breathe and live as per their wishes and if they try to find their happiness than such disgusting parents emotionally blackmail them by stupid suicidal attempts which displays their cowardness and people like development are often trapped and ruin their life.
Lastly for me the character is beyond redemption.
Also how come a mother doesn't want her son to be married and happily settledo is beyond my thoughts.
She is a curse for her own child who worships her like God.
Love is all about giving but here it is all about bossing around.

fully agreed ..a mother being insecure i can understand but a mother who is soo oblivious to her sons sorrow who knows that she is the reason behind it but still continues to pretend thay all is well and is completly selfish..such a woman is unfit to be called a mother ..its a real shame on motherhood

I am so stuck with auto-correction PEOPLE LIKE DEVELOPMENT.
Brought an element of fun in this serious post :) :)

But jokes apart..you are right..Ishwari cannot b called as mother or a woman..She has no idea how many lives she gonna spoil doing so.how selfishly she ignored the pain that Dev is going through. When Neha confronted her,how shamelessly she changed the topic..If I would have been there,I would have thrown her in the gutter...the place she rightfully belongs

Dev-Ishwari relationship seems inspired from movie Beta.. Blind son and devotee of mother..
However, there Aruna Irani played the role of a Step-Mom.. How can someone's OWN mother can do this to her son is something beyond me 😳

The GOD Mother doesn't want to share her Son Dev's love with any other woman.. don't want him to mingle with other girl or marry... Like seriously?
What Ishwari exactly expecting from Dev?

I failed to understand this 'type' of mother. No words.

Nice post...and I agree.
Unfortunately I have had the opportunity to meet "Ishwari type" women in my life...Yes not just one but more. And my god trust me they are sooo difficult to deal with and they fill your life with so much negativity and pain. Because to them their kid specially a son is like a living doll-toy, who they have taken care of all life and devoted all their time to and when the kid grows up they are unable to cope with reality and will create havoc to get the absolute attention that they need from their son. Until the son realizes this many a times his relationship with his partner/wife has been pretty damaged. So as of now I am good that Sona is out of picture. Now is the time that slowly they can show Dev seeing sides of Ishwari that he is completely unaware and in absolute denial to believe.

I don't see how Dev doesn't feel Neha and other two sister's sides. I mean he has seen his mother giving importance to him and him only...how come he doesn't see his mother's fault in it? Well brainwashing started at a pretty young age...so yes like in the movie Beta, Dev has blind godlike belief in his mother, who has brainwashed him into seeing her as the best mother than any son can have.

CVs are showing reality for change but this reality is worth skipping out on.
