Swaragini: Fans celebrate one year of the adorable pair of Swara and Sanskar on the show
Fans are celebrating the first anniversary of one of TV's most loved recent couples
Swaragini started off as a tale of two sisters reuniting their parents who were ex-lovers. However, more than this alliance, it was the love stories of the two gals that had the audience hooked. The show enjoyed a run in the top ten for a really long time and a part of the credit goes to the fabulous love story of Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor). On this occasion when #1YearOfSwaSan is trending, here is a recap of the five best moments...
The confession
This was right at the start when Swara tells an angry Sanskar that the reason behind his extreme hatred is love. Swara had discovered that he was not a madman and faking to be. Edgy, secretive and angry, Sanskar Maheshwari was superb with his grey shades.
First looks
In a mood to reveal the truth, our spy-girl Swara gets a fake marriage done with Sanskar. This is a favourite with many viewers, the scene where he helps her settle her earrings. The two were not even friends' then but so much sexual tension.
Down and drunk
An exasperated Sanskar had many problems on hand. He could not expose Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) and was hopelessly in love. The drunken confession scene is a personal favourite as Varun was perfect.
Burning the screen
We also love the intense Sanskar more than the gharelu one we see nowadays. Fed up of hearing no to his proposal of love, he says he is not one to force his decisions. Sanskar just pinned Swara against the wall, no pleasantries here but it worked.
Helicopter date
Like many others, we also love the intense Sanskar but the pair were totally adorable in the epic date sequence sent TRPs soaring. It was quite grand as per daily soap standards.
Forget these, Swara and Sanskar do give out some couple goals. They trust each other completely and are friends first and lovers later.
