BOSE VILLA - 1.46 am
"These Nights!"
She sighed.
''Are Oxymorons'', she thought.
Night always brought two things, his memories and her solitude; she hated the fact that she failed terribly to forget all the moments that she spent with him and she loved solitude because this was when she cherished all the memories, like the night he told her those three magical words, those blissful drives to home every day with him. Slowly a small smile creeps on to her lips.
"Him"
Her smile starts to fade away as soon as she remembers him. She clutches her blanket tightly. Unable to bear it, she wakes up from her bed and goes to her study room.
Outside, the sky is storming and was about to rain anytime. She takes a deep breath and feels vulnerable. She switches on the light and resumes writing her book "Choose Your Fare". She writes a few pages and closes the book in dismay.
Feeling the tears at the verge of flowing out of her eyes, she stands near the window and utters.
"You didn't deserve my love, Mr. Dev Dixit!"
ISHWARI NIVAS - 1.54 am
He was working on the presentation for tomorrow's meeting. Sleep evaded him. He tried taking his dose of sleeping pills.
"Sleeping pills are temporary solution."
He slammed the door of his mini almirah. He was feeling miserable and helpless.His life seemed so complicated at the moment.
The same questioning teary eyes, seemed to haunt him. Her words, were still ringing in his ears.
"We are STRANGERS Mr.Dixit! and STRANGERS don't help each other. There is nothing between us...You and me are over...We are over..."
He was relieved to see her, when she stormed into his office. It seemed after ages, he was seeing her. Her presence, gave him the sense of being alive. He became speechless, happiness had no bounds. Her words seemed to fade and all he could barely do was utter her name.
"Sonakshi"
She stormed out of his cabin.
It was only few days since he ended their relationship. She held him responsible for the havoc in their lives. She was right. He was tired and he needed rest. Keeping aside his laptop, he switched on the radio channel.

Sleep eluded her.
She switches on her ThakurDa's (Grand Father) Gramophone and sits into the rocking chair. A soothing song starts playing --

He slowly gets up from his chair and takes out her earring from his pocket.

She sways in her rocking chair, slowly as the words of the songs sink into her. She gets flashbacks of all moments.

Recollecting their morning encounter, she clasps the arms of her chair. He slowly lies on the bed. In spite of everything being finished in between them, they were unable to stop themselves being entitled towards each other.
Qudrat ke asulo mein badal kyun nahi hota
Qudrat ke asulo mein.
She slowly closes her eyes and lets the tears escape her eyes. There, he falls asleep.
4.14 am
"Sona! Kothai accho?" (Sona where are you?)
Sourav finds Sona in her study, fast asleep. There were traces of tears on her face. Nobody knows, for how many hours she had been crying. Elena slowly covers her with a blanket, removes her spectacles from her face.
"You needed this Sona! You needed to let this off from your heart. We all are here, with you in your tough phase. I am happy to see you sleeping peacefully", thought Sourav.
Ishwari comes into Dev's room and is surprised to find him sleeping. She thinks of not waking him up as he needs some break form his routine work. She fondly caresses his head only to find his pillow wet.
"Dev ke khushi ka ek hissa toh main bhi thi"
Something pierces her heart.
