Impulse control problem !!

The more I see it, the more I am convinced...half the issues in this show are a direct result of Dev's impulse control issues 😆

Neha wants to marry Ranbir but with comfort = let's give him a job

Mom needs a doctor = let's sack someone from her job so she is forced to work for you

Her 'rishta' broke because of you = make a marriage profile for her

Neha has a small room = let's gift Ranbir a flat

Realises he loves Sonakshi = cancel engagement and confess love in the space of a few hours

Confessed to mom = now include Sonakshi in everything like nothing happened

Mom in hosp = break up with Sonakshi

He is driven by a need to ' fix' things...but doesn't really have the emotional maturity to wait n think things through. Dev is the KING of impulse, a childish son of a childish mother...THAT is why Sona balanced him.

Will be interesting to see if he will ever learn

Have been saying this since the beginning, Dev lacks capability to think, analyze and make sound judgements. He is almost always driven by his impulse, in real World it would be very very hard for a guy like him to make it big in the business World but since this is a fictional show, they show anything.

His whole 'I've changed now' is also more or less an act under impulse, an impulse to woo the person he claims to love. Dev is a plain hopeless case, Sona needs to run far far away from him as soon as possible.

Bang on - completely agree ...Dev is a character that loves to find quick solution to any problem without even understanding the problem or finding source of the problem. Such people remove symptoms of the problem but the issue still remains as its fixed superficially
