"Aliya yaar come on whats wrong with you...i just missed one call by you and you are literally creating a fuss out of all of this." Manik shouted from the other side of the phone tired of the weird tantrums of his girlfriend. " I cant believe this Manik. You made a mistake and now you are blaming me for everything! Just imagine me in your place, had i not picked up your call you would have dug my grave by now and you...you bloody missed 10 calls by me. You know what, before i talked to you i was actually worried about you, but now i am simply annoyed." Aliya remarked with disgust. Manik palmed his face in horror...why would Cabir do this to him...make him drunk like hell and leave him alone to tackle his over dramatic girlfriend. Ohh how much was he in hate with girls. If only he could vanish from the surface of earth. He slightly massaged his head and sipped his black coffee to reduce his headache. " Aliya i really think we need to talk..in person." He replied expecting a mature reply," Well then i am ready for a talk...unless you apologise for your careless attitude and agree to mend your ways." Aliya demanded while Manik spat out the coffee from his mouth," Apologise!!! For what? Get this clear Aliya, Manik Malhotra never apologises...Never." He replied in his usual arrogant attitude while Aliya silently cursed her heart for falling a man like him," Well then you can conveniently talk to me in your dreams..coz thats not happening in real unless you apologise." With Aliya disconnected the call while Manik frustrated as hell ruffled his hair. Girls-He was in pure hate with them. If only it was not for Fab 5's unity!!! Annoyed because of Aliya's unreasonable attitude he entered his washroom and to take a shower and reach college to clear up the matter as soon as possible.
Manik was sitting in the lecture room and unlike other days Aliya decided to sit with her best buddy Dhruv, who happened to be Manik's best buddy as well. He was continously sparing looks to Aliya and felf weird to find Aliya all so comfortable and over all the arguement they had early in the morning. This was the thing with her. She would always forget people whenever Dhruv was around and attention addictive person Manik was, he always despised Dhruv for being a girls favourite buddy. He silently typed a message and sent it to Aliya
MANIK: Aliya this is seriously getting too much now. Get over it and stop ignoring me!!!
ALIYA: Does that mean you are ready to apologise?
MANIK: In your dreams!!!!🤢
ALIYA: Sweet dreams then coz you really need to have a dream like that!!!😳
Manik quickly spared a look to Aliya who was busy talking to Dhruv and laughing on his some joke silenly. " Dude, its serious this time. Ab kya kar diya tune." Manik heard Cabir silently whispering to him. Drinking his rising anger Manik decided to keep quiet in order to avoid any violence in the class. " Oye i am talking to you." Tired of the poking Manik looked at Cabir with a stern look and had just opened his mouth to answer when a sharp yell disturbed them," Mrs Malhotra this might be your mothers college but that doesnt mean you are entitled to do whatever may please you. Stop fidgeting with people around you...and yes Mr Dhawan its better you mend your ways. Last warning." Raghav shouted at them. Cabir gave him a naughty smile while Manik rolled his eyes. The rest of the period Cabir tried hundred times to catch Manik's attention but always failed at it.
The lecture got over and Manik quickly followed Aliya but she had successfully vanished into thin air. Frustrated he stood near the notice board acting as if he was busy in reading the developments of the college while his eyes searched for Aliya. There he found her. She was coming out of the washroom. Manik took a step forward to follow Aliya...but wait, what about of college stud impression. What would people say-Manik Malhotra has turned into Majnu Manik now. Dreamily nodding his head in a Manik looked around to find a way out. Just then his eyes got caught of something and an evil smirk garnished his face. He just knew what to do now.
Manik swiftly walked towards a bench where a girl was seated busy in reading the college journal. " Hi!!" Manik said. The girl peeped out from the journal and then conveniently ignored him. Annoyed because of lack of attention Manik said," Hey i said a hi to you." The girl rolled er eyes and replied," Whatever." Weird, thought Manik. Not a single girl did this to him and then suddenly his focus was no longer on making Aliya burn in jealousy but to impress the nerdy girl sitting right besides him. " My name is Manik Malhotra." He said with an attitude and the girl replied without looking at him," Nandini Murthy." Manik was getting restless now, she didnt react even after knowing who he actually was," A beautiful morning isnt it." He said trying to initiate a talk," Why are you wasting my precious and useless time of yours. You might not have anything important to do in life but i have loads, so stop wasting your time and get going." Manik looked at the girl with wide eyes...how could she!!! Now it was a challenge for him, he had to under all costs impress this girl. Bye Aliya...bring it on Nandini Murthy...Manik Malhotra is all ready to impress you.
