I didn't see this comment earlier.  But I do recall discussion of Sanket being Pratap's son. That could have been interesting too.  Although I think they didn't want to introduce an illegitimate son to the picture at that time. The big secret or focus at that time was Madhu part in breaking up Dhairya and Riya.  I think we all thought that was going to be a big revelation.  But we all know what happened there.
