Never had Arnav Singh Raizada felt stronger than what he was feeling after hearing Khushi's words to her father. She was the one who defined unconditional love rather than them. He had turned so blind in his world of pain that he couldn't even act humanly towards her and just for a promise she made to his mother, just for the love she had for him, she readily sacrificed her most prized possession-her self-respect. He was the one who didn't know the true meaning of love and he was the one to accuse her. Such an irony, thought Arnav.

Unable to stand in the Gupta Mansion any longer, the Raizada decided to move out and seek his refuge. He tried walking away as soundlessly as possible but it was not enough to stop Khushi from noticing the movement towards the door and deduce the situation in hand. Khushi took in a deep breath as she contemplated her next actions.

"NK, Papa, I will be back," she said calmly while looking at NK in the eye to handle the situation as she grabbed the keys on the key rack.

Arnav was already gone but Khushi did not need him to guide her to his destination as she already knew where it lied, recollecting the farfetched and tormented look which his features had deformed into.

Her heart was racing and pounding against her ribcage as adrenaline gushed through her blood vessels. She could feel what lied ahead of them and she was both scared and excited for the same. The wait had turned torturous for her but her brain had constrained her heart and was waiting for a proper response from the twin of its heart who also held its reins.

Eyeing the serene mansion and the pristine white car parked in front of her, Khushi applied the brakes to halt the car. Steeling her nerves which sent out panic through her as she reminisced what she beheld and felt the last two times she was here. Once was a time where she thought she had lost her friend completely and other was a time where she thought that she had lost her love but she proved to be wrong both the times. Consoling her adamant heart that everytime she set her foot in the mansion, her life had changed and this time it would be for the better, Khushi walked through the doors leading inside to see Arnav Singh Raizada speaking to her portrait, the one which he drew himself. A sense of warmth engulfed her as she relished the intricate detailing of her portrait from the man who had owned her soul since the past six years.

" I can't even face you after doing so much to you, Khushi. What was I even thinking while committing so many mistakes? Why didn't you berate me like you used to? Why did you bear so much from me? If I was in your place, I would have done something unforgivable and you? You waited for me to change and understood me. How wrong was I when I said you didn't understand feelings! I was and I am still the person who couldn't understand yours. Why did you do this, Khushi?"

Arnav stared at the smiling beauty in front of him, waiting for answers from the one who couldn't answer. He knew it couldn't answer him but he found himself in a quandary, unable to face the person captured in the painting yet seeking the answers to his questions.

" Because she loved you and still loves you. Because she had not just colored you in her colors but had also got colored in your colors."

"Khushi?" whispered Arnav in disbelief.

Arnav stood up from his position as he turned around to face the owner of the voice and his own heart, thumping hard and fast due to her presence.

"I forgive you, Arnav. I had always loved you. Sometimes as a friend and sometimes as a lover, but the love never even flickered. I still love you and will always continue to do so," confessed Khushi with a wide smile playing on her lips as she widened her arms, seeking an embrace symbolizing their reunion.

Arnav pulled her into his arms and lifted her off the feet, clutching her close to his heart, trying to convince him that it was the reality, which wouldn't falter nor fade.

"I cannot tell you how happy I am, Khushi! I love you so much! I love you!" Arnav said in an excited voice as Khushi chuckled at him. Arnav let her feet rest on the ground as Khushi hid her face in the crook of her neck, relishing their proximity and their love, to capture those moments in the deepest corners of her heart.

"I still cannot believe that you forgave me, after all I did," whispered Arnav into Khushi's ears as Khushi lifted her head away from his chest to eye him.

" Why, Mr.Raizada? You want me take my forgiveness back?" she asked with a playful look on her face.

"This time if you decide to take your forgiveness back and leave me, know that you will take away my existence from me, Khushi. I will be alive but will not live. And I am so happy that I don't even know what to do," he said with a chuckle, as Khushi felt the former state of their friendship return.

"Maybe you could start with an expression of love and happiness, Mr.Raizada. This mansion, which was a witness of our separation, could be the witness of our union this time," she said as she eyed Arnav with eyes darkened with passion and love, "Let me color you in my colors completely, Arnav."

The memories of their marriage flooded their minds and they soon blended into the night where their control lost against their passionate love. The night which was a sign of their passion and love bore absolutely no regrets but that was the time where two bodies united but this time, a union of two souls would take place as two hearts finally produced the rhythm it wanted to produce.

"Let the souls unite, Khushi. Let me make up to the morning which was supposed to be the best morning of our life but was not, due to my stupidity," said Arnav, lifting her up in his arms and walking towards the very room where it all changed.
