moreover, ishwari saying that she has just now come to know of their relationship and so she needs time to decide...how long did ishwari take to decide neha's marriage with ranveer...in sona's case ishwari at least knows her for so many months..how long did ishwari know ranveer...i know my saying all these makes no sense since ishwari has been shown possessive towards dev and not towards his daughters...

but my point is that sona instead of telling ishwari about her and dev's plans regarding their relationship shud instead point out to ishwari that dev loves her and intends to marry her...their relationship is not a passing fancy...therefore if she needs time to accept sona then she shud tell that to dev and not to her...

i loved the fact the sona actually came to ishwari's room only to talk to her and not with any excuse of bringing food for her...wat ishwari was telling RR was totally humiliating and unjust...just because dev now has sona in his life therefore he is replying back to his mom which indicates that sona is a bad influence on dev...in any other show i hv seen female protagonists silently enduring all humiliations whereas here sona actually showed the guts to talk to ishwari in as polite a voice as possible...

i know i wrote about the last scene first but i wanted to clarify my point that ishwari may be right on her part but watever issues she has with sona or anyone else in dev's life she shud make those issues clear with dev and not sona...if ishwari is not ready to accept sona as family then she has no right to tell her about her limits but shud tell dev that she will not accept sona as her bahu...ishwari's underlying fear is very apparent wen sona confronted her why she gave the halwa to dev wen she had already tasted it...ishwari's face clearly revealed the fear that watever strategies she is applying to distance sona from dev if becomes known to dev then there is every possibility dev will take a drastic step of marrying sona widout her consent...yes i know dev will never do that but here i am talking about ishwari's underlying fear which is making her behave sweetly with sona in front of dev and rudely with her in his absence...

ok now the photo scene...my heart just went out to him as dev's smiling face changed instantly wen he saw the photo hanging on the wall...he cud not believe that his mom actually excluded sona from the frame...although dev cud hv guessed it since it was ishwari who insisted on taking the second photo but dev was disappointed by the fact that ishwari did not consider how much his feelings wud be hurt before selecting this picture...the other day dev was saying to sona that ishwari can never refuse anything that gvs him the greatest happiness and to see his own saying falsified by his own mom so soon left him speechless...

however although he tried to understand his mom's POV that rituals r important to become family member he made his final point before leaving that this picture is nice but not perfect and will become perfect once sona is in that frame...
another thing i will mention here...sona was reluctant to become a part of the picture but dev dragged her into it...being more practical than dev sona knows she is still not a dixit...however today she said to ishwari that she is hurt that she is not in the picture...initially i cud not relate her saying this with her previous reluctance to be included in the pic...but then i conclude that it was dev's decision to include sona in the family...by rejecting that picture ishwari has only hurt the feelings of dev and made him feel that he has no right to make a simple decision like who will stand beside him in front of the camera...sona knows how much ishwari loves her son and so she was hurt...she was not hurt because ishwari is not accepting her but she is hurt that ishwari has hurt the feelings of dev...in this picture dev has an unsmiling face which is also something that was not missed by sona...sona's hurt came from the fact that ishwari in the process of expressing disliking toward sona has ended up hanging a picture of unsmiling dev in the wall...

this picture will always reflect an unhappy dev in a house which is a fruit of his tireless labor of so many years...

yes i missed that...i actually dont make my posts widout watching second time but today my net is slow and so cud not watch online and so i tried to write watever i remembered...

Ish has not acceptd Sona as her daughter in law which is totally opposite to what Dev believes. Infact Ish doesnt even feel that they are in a serious relationship. Sona shud have pointed this to Ish that Ish shud herself tell Dev how she feels abt Dev Sona relationship.

Dev has seen her mother's reaction during Neha Ranveer marriage, she was so happy n got them married in a week. And Ish has told Dev 'I am happy if u r happy', 'I will always support ur decision', so naturally Dev is expecting Ish has accepted Sona. Maybe she is waiting for rasams as she explained but still this is total contrast to her behavior in Neha Ranveer marriage.

Othr than Dev everyone is able to see Ish changed behavior. Wonder why Dev is not picking up any clues.

because dev is portrayed like real life boys...and boys never picks up clues about their mothers...in this context they r always stupid...
