I feel that Dev will not get to know this by himself..this would create a hatred in heart of Dev for his Mom..and really HATE is a big word..not apt for this subtle and sweet show.
but looking at the trend and looking at how the writers are showing Ishwari 's character swings..She might tell this to Dev herself (as there would be realization sequence for Ishwari in the future) that in the past she misbehaved with Sona and now she is sorry..that way Dev will realize what his mom has been doing Sona without hating her.
