I Would Obviously Date My Best Friend ' Namik Paul

Namik Paul is quite satisfied with the journey of his Sony show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste so far, "Going great, off late schedules had become very hectic, I was not getting leave for a very long time finally today got an off. My character Shravan is someone with a troubled past who is in love with a girl for so many years but unfortunately controllable circumstances come in the way and he is unable to confess his real feelings."

Coming to his personal funda on love Namik says, "It all boils down to similar personalities i.e.. someone with who I have enough comfort level so would want to spend time with her again and again. Having said that don't deny that looks do play an important role in the first connection. For me love is an extension of friendship and I would obviously date my best friend. Beyond a point looks don't matter for will you ever call your best friend ugly??"

Coming to his equation with co-star Nikita Dutta; he says, "We have worked together for six months now and have developed into our own routine. We get along well, she has done more work then me."
Despite putting in some much work, yet the show does not rate?, "Being very new I really don't pay attention to ratings for if I do it might distracted. We all are working very hard, sometimes putting in as many 15/16 hours a day. I am very proud to be part of Sony's effort's to change the grammar of TV and these things do take time."

In closing Namik says the recent buzz of his injury was over hyped. "We had back to back punching bag scenes, and in the intensity of things, I got a bit scratched. As some pictures were circulated it was assume that I was hurt badly, but lucky it was not that bad. I am fit and ready to get back to work."
