i felt really bad when dev said all about the halwa !!

I know it might not have tasted good , but without knowing anything he shouldnt have said like that !!

Bichari sonaa her voice was choking when she was saying maine banaya tha !! really felt very bad !

and last mein when dev said "MAY I" and was about to take the bowl and have it sona left from there taking that bowl it was really disheartening to watch (bcz even i dont know cooking😉 and when i start cooking and someone say like that i know how it feels so😆)

and then the look at ishwari's face that she should have helped sona in preparing and she became thoughtful that is real ishwari !! andd even she went to sona and started a light convo to lighten up her mood (as per precap ) but what does knnow that her previous act was known to sona and how she will ans now ???

Ishwari is good at heart but her brain is not ready to accept this new development

Last scene ne to band bajadi...😕 Sona crying... Dev guilty... Mataji too felt bad (BTW she confused me)

That is how most insecure MILs are ( I think I had updated in some previous post too ) . The guilt and the sweet talk is just to show her son that she is happy with his choice of girl. But reality is that they are not.

In front of their son they never talk a single bad thing and show they are the most affectionate ppl to the DIL. Also when the son scoldes or makes fun , they will try to support the DIL...Once the DIL finds the truth of MIL , 90 % of them will tell their guy and the reaction will be " I dont think you have understood my mom, she likes you so much still you crib about her ...you just want find fault..just because the dish didnt turn out good..you always have problem with my mom..I know my mom etc etc ".

MILs intention of getting these two to have a fight is done. I dont know how CVs of this show is going to take it. But this is what in majority of the families with insecure MIL face...and if its ONLY Son...then the drama is even worse 😆

Let us see what the CVs have for this show...how the halwa episode is going to conclude..

Seriously yaar... Last scene ne to Mujhe rula dia tha... 😭 ... Sona ka face dekh kar sach mai ruyi thi aur Dev pe gussa a rehi thi.. ... Poor Sona...

When I wrote fight , I didnt mean intense kind , but in a way that the girl will feel very bad because there is this lack of trust ...as in the guy is not believing the fact that his mom does it on purpose. So hurting her is the primary objective...and that too at the right place is met beautifully . Her son spoke in support of her.

Really felt very bad for sona but dev had no idea so I won't blame him for the criticism. And ur right ishwari is not bad at heart but she gets manipulated very easily which is very dangerous. But ishwari is not fully right as well . Sona is an amateur cook and she knows that. She was good with her initially but later after tasting the halwa she got manipulated by her brain . Which wanted to test dev's love for her and her cooking. She wanted to prove herself that her son will love only halwa made by his mom but sona can't impress him in this department. That's why she served the tasteless halwa to dev .

I have a similar kinda experience in my life actually, I'm not an amateur cook like sona but then my hubby looks a sweet dish prepared by his mom just like dev which I don't know to prepare ( my mom never prepared the particular sweet and my MIL has her spl recipe as well which makes it all the more desirable for her son ) so after our wedding I wanted to try it and I asked my MIL to teach me and she thought be how to prepare but she didn't stay with me cos I cook quite good food . So she went to complete her work and I prepared it myself. When she came back she tasted the dish just like ishwari and it was not up to the mark . But then she very politely said that to me and helpEd me to correct it . So if ishwari was in her right state she should have done the same . Right?

After tasting halwa Ishwari did want to fix it. But changed tracks because of GKB. When GKB says that this was a special thing, a bond between her and Dev, is when she takes this route. If GKB had not poked her nose, things would be different. 😊 😊

That is when Ishwari tries to prove to herself that her son can make out the difference. Once she gets that confirmation, she is happy. But as a mom again feels bad when Dev says all those bad things.

I feel bad for Ishwari. It is hard when a person has to go against their character. Be somebody they are not.
