Salman and Dilip Kumar most prolific when it comes to HGOTY?

so i was going through this list and did some counting, so Dilip Kumar and Sallu have highest numbers of highest grossers of the year with 9, Sallu has MPK, Saajan, HANK, HSSH, No entry, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger and BB, might have 10 if Dangal fails to beat Sultan.
Dilip Kumar also had 9, with Jugnu, Shaheed, Aan, Madhumati, Mughal-E-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Kranti, Vidhata and Karma.

Madhuri is the third superstar with 6 with Tezaab, Dil, Saajan, Beta, HAHK and Devdas.
along with Mammu who has Dil, Raja Hindustani, Ghajni, 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3 and PK.

He has five with DDLJ, KKHH, Devdas, Veer Zara and OSO. Amitabh also have 6 with Roti, Kaapra aur Maakan, Sholay, Amar Akbar Anthony, Muqaddar ka Sikandar, Suhaag, Coolie.

ya, this is a good measure of how popular the artist was in their haydays...
People ask Madhuri or juhi or kajol...this should clarify everything easily... kajol 😆

Agree, Madhuri is the poster girl of Bollywood.
There may have been better actresses than her, but stardom of a female?? none came near her.


Although I was pleasantly suprised by Dilip Kumar's numbers. that is just outstanding.
