growing complexities...

it is so sickening to watch a mom behaving as if her son is not her son but her lover...i cud never understand her stand of going out with her son as if it is a date with a lover...even wen rhea wished to go with them ishwari said like today i am going out with dev...so wat...wat kind of logic was that...a mother is supposed to enjoy the company of all her children equally...yes she waits for such days wen dev takes her out so shudnt she be happy if her one or more of her daughters also join them...it is natural that wen shopping only girls can help their mothers...wat do boys know about shopping...ok shopping is secondary spending time is primary...i will never understand how a mother distinguishes between her children...how can she enjoy less if her daughters join them...saying all these i shud also mention ishwari so strongly reminds me of someone who makes excuses to make plans with her son all the time he has to attend any invitation with his wife resulting in the wife going alone to that event...i am happy they r showing the raw truth...

ok now for sonakshi...here i admit it is dev's fault...dev has just announced his relationship status with sona and he is not even gving time to his mom to adjust to this new idea that sona is not just a doc now but wud be DIL...moreover wen ishwari doesnt even allow her daughters to join them then how cud he expect her to be happy with sona...these r the moments wen i feel dev knows so little about his mom even though they share such a spl and close relationship...actually i hv always felt ishwari and dev share more a relationship of dependence than emotional bonding...ishwari needed dev to take the family out of poverty and establish a secured future and dev needed his mother as support system for himself...but wen it comes to knowing each other inside and out both hv failed miserably...wen dev was hiding about sona then ishwari used to think that it was dev's zid not to tell her whereas the truth was that dev hesitated as he did not know how ishwari will take the truth...during those times she behaved in weird manner by firing bhola and taking up cooking responsibilities and always taunting dev by saying whether he really cares about her not knowing that dev is so naive that he cant see thru her psychotic behavior and see the reason behind it...ishwari is yet to know that dev's mind is straight as an arrow and recognizes no emotional complexities...on the other hand dev fails to see how ishwari tries to hold a monopoly power on him and wishes that noone else will come between her son and herself...

even sona knows ishwari better than dev and that is y wen dev went to sona's house to tell her that his mom is happy after knowing the truth sona was like r u sure...

even now wen dev is making plans with both sona and ishwari...sona hesitates to join the plan but dev so naively insists...however even dev doesnt tell his mom about his plan till the last moment wen they r going out...it shows dev is always apprehensive how his mom will react and so gvs her little chance to refuse his plans...at the last moment wen sona is all decked up ishwari can hardly refuse like she refused rhea...

another scene that i wud love to mention is the one where ishwari apologized for behaving badly with sona in the last few days...it was a sincere apology and i loved the way how she was wringing her palloo...it is always so difficult to say sorry that too to someone who is younger...

in this show i feel sona is the most balanced and intelligent character...so i wish by now she shud understand the characters of dev and ishwari like how although they r so close they can hardly read wat is going on in each other's mind...so sona shud not always indulge dev's "zid" and shud refrain from coming in the space between ishwari and dev even though today dev is so enarmored by love that he prefers to spend all his time with sona...even the moments he is spending with ishwari he is asking sona to join those moments too...but sona shud insist not to do that...

in any relationship it is very important if one partner gets carried away then the other one shud keep a balanced head and sona shud play the latter role...
