Missing Happiness Passion & Freshness???

Hi guys

Yday's episode was good. But still feel like they are rushing.

1. Why the sudden need to make Ria so mature and serious? Felt more than her character. I mean we already have Ishwari sulking for sharing her son and now add Ria to support her. Ria hardly showed any excitement on knowing about DevAkshi
2. Why Nikki is suddenly so kiddish? She seemed more interested in the laddoos. But wasn't it Sona who helped Nikki from the overnight party / lying her brother mess. Ofcourse she did say the line that "Meri friend ko girl friend band liya" which was cute but it did not reflect the bonding Nikki shares with Sona.
3. Ishwari trying to apologize to Sona for her bad behavior past few days was shown in a very genuine way. Loved it. But what was that convo been Ishwari and Mamaji regarding Ice-cream. Already last whole week was regarding Ishwari and Ishwari now talking act Ice cream sounded a little too kiddish. I mean she is his mother not his child.
4. Freshness - Shaheer looks different. He looks more tired. He looks more than his age. The look of course helped the episodes where he falls sick and then during the the Ishwari drama where obviously Dev is suppose to look worried and stressed out. May be its the haircut or the beard. I don't know what the reason is. But its pretty obvious something is different. He seems to look different post Neha's wedding episode. All episodes prior to that he looked fresh, sexy, charming. Ofcourse he still looks very good but such too hai? Has anybody else noticed it? I feel both, Erica and Shaheer have looked their best in the 15th June episode, especially the scene between them just outside Dev's bedroom. Its a closeup shot of both and they both look their best. Shaheer looks so handsome and charming. Erica looks like an angel. She looks flawless. But nowadays, I wonder why they have changed her make up. Also, in the Friendship day segment on SBS, Erica mentioned that entire cast and crew got a few days off. Hope that gives a good break to all actors especially Shaheer and Erica.

5. Passion - Missing the Passion in Dev. Episodes from 14th Jun till Neha's wedding day, Dev's passion was shown so beautifully. There were a lot of moments like in 15th Jun episode at the end after Dev talks to Tina and asks her to postpone his meeting by 1 hour and Tina asks him whether he was feeling well. Dev says "Never felt better" and then starts walking towards Sona who is in the kitchen. The expression on both their faces was excellent. That scene just stood out for me. It was a small moment but they both portrayed it so well. Then their car conversations and the way Dev would look at Sona as she stepped out of the car and walked to her house. Small things but leave a bigger impact.

Nowadays, its so Thanda. Even today when Dev says that he has to leave for work but doesn't feel like and then starts walking towards Sona and then Sona pushes him away. Erica's expressions were bang on...she was blushing. But Shaheer's expression looked very thanda. It was the exact expression he had when he was leaning over Sona during the "Mera din thoda bright car do" wall scene. Have seen and felt more passion in the June episodes.

I am completely OK in waiting patiently for the DevAkshi kiss. It will happen when it should happen. I trust CVs in that. I hope they just don't add a kiss scene for the sake of adding it coz viewers are asking for it. It will look and feel more special if its blended in the situation and storyline.

Partially agree with you.. I was expect nikki and riya tease Dev and sona in front of ishwari like that but it's not happen..

I agree with you totally. Shaheer has been looking shabby . I thought post the falling ill track they would change his image , but sadly that didn't happen. He needs a shave and a haircut. Regarding Erica , sometimes her looks are done well, especially that yellow dress when she told Dev that she didn't trust him..there she looked good.

I don't think CV team is thinking much..1) Nikki and Riya s reaction was very sober .They didn't seem to be happy for their brother. It was like that scene was created just for the sake of it.

2) That Ice cream discussion was totally not needed . I think this serial is ONLY about the SON - DIL - MIL Now a days all the other characters scenes are not given much thought .

3) Sonakshi's behavior while shopping bedsheet. I don't think any DIL as matured as her would have selected something of her choice on the first day along with her to be MIL. Ideally such a character would have stood next to MIL and just agreed and understood her choice. CVs are showing contradicting image of Sonakshi. I don't know why they are not able to maintain consistency of Sonakshi's core character .

4) They are more like teenagers in love . That passion you see in a mature couple cant be seen in these two. Only once in a while they were passionate ..I can barely remember 2 to 3 scenes...all the others are on to cute side of romance.

Also , why is it that we don't get to see Dev with Sona's family?? Yesterdays episode was nice ..yes !! Dev and Sona' s scenes were cute ..but its kind of getting monotonous and boring . Because we know what to expect in terms of the expressions from each of these characters. The base of the story is formed I don't think they need to create situations again and again to confirm that . Like Ishwari's flash back, GKB's nagging /taunting , mamji and ma talk, etc...Sona and Dev's morning and evening scene etc.. They need to work on the story ...and editing has to be improved.

Just my thought could be different for you all.

I hope they have some continuity in today's episode. Ishwari told Nikki and Ria to ask Dev for all details at night. So hoping they show that in today's epsiode.

Absolutely agree with pretty much everything you've said. I've been considering tweeting to the makers about a few of these things. I mean, for a show that has so much potential and a love story that is so beautiful, things like these are really saddening. Because I know DevAkshi can be so much more. They already have been, and I know there are so many more places they can go with these two characters being in a committed relationship.

I hope the makers have their teams reading posts on IF. Because its never too late to incorporate all these factors into the show. Its not something new we are asking for. We are asking for the same little things that were given to us in the earlier episodes. They just need to be consistent with their style in portraying the storyline and the characters.
