Part 3

Hotel Moonlite

Rithwik entered the club shaking his head and talking to himself, "Gosh Taani you are going to be in big trouble if you are drunk." People were dancing on the beats with the drinks in their hands, some were making out in the corner while some were enjoying their nights. In the middle of the crowd, Taani was dancing on the table like there is no tomorrow for her.

"Wooo..." Taani shouted along with the crowd throwing her hands up moving her hips. That's when she was being pulled down from the table away from the crowd and was taken to the counter. Taani was struggling to free her hand.

"Juno leave my hand, chodo mera hath..." she freed herself crossed her arms and looked at him angrily.

"What's your problem huh? Na khud enjoy karte ho (pointing towards Rithwik) aur na mujhe karne de rahe ho!" (Pointing towards herself) she asked him angrily and looked away.

"Okk (Rithwik holds his hands up in defence) but you are coming home now and that's final." Rithwik said seriously. But Taani being drunk wasn't listening to him and started moving towards the dance floor which left Rithwik with only one option.

He took hold of her in his arms in a bridal style and moved towards the parking lot while Taani kept hitting him and shouting to keep her down and let her enjoy.

He made taani sit in the passenger seat and saw her fast asleep due to alcohol effect so he fastens the seat belt. As he moved to the other side of the car someone hit him on the head making his vision blurry. He turned to see the one who has hit him but there wasn't anyone and then everything went blank for him.

"Kriya meri behen hai..." that's the only thing in everyone's mind.

Nilesh and Vicky look towards each other and started laughing while everyone looked towards them confused.

"What's a so funny guy's?" swayam asked.

"Arey yaar mazak acha kar lete ho tum log ab jaldi bata kya important baat hai." Vicky said.

"Enough guys, ap logo ko ye funny lag raha hai. Do you know what is so important that we have called you here" Kriya got frustated that they are not listening to her.

"It's about Taani and me but most importantly Taani." Kriya said.

Rey's head snapped towards Kriya as soon as he heard Taani's name but he got confused what's the connection between Taani and Kriya.

"Taani aur tumhare bare me? And most importantly Taani? Wo thik toh hain na?" Rey couldn't help but asked in confusion and worry took over him as he wanted to know about Taani hoping she is fine.

"Yes no I mean... oh god!! Taani is my sister and she is not fine." Kriya said.

Everyone in the hall got up from their places listening to this. Before anyone could question Kriya continued stopping them from saying anything.

"I know guys; you have a lot of questions to ask and mere pas sare sawalo (questions) ke jawab (answers) bi hain. Pehla question toh ye hoga ki Taani and kriya sisters kaise? Jo aj tak kabi mile nahi dekha nahi wo ek dusre se related kaise?"

Kriya started telling them how swayam's dad came to meet her and told that she has a sister which was quite shocking for her. Then her maasi came and confirmed about her twin sister. Being the single mother her mom couldn't take care of both of us and swayam's chachi was mom's bestfriend and couldn't have her own child so mom told her to adopt taani, so that she can know about Taani's whereabouts. But after her mom's death they couldn't contact us.

Kriya said as she remembered everything about meeting Swayam's dad and most importantly her sister who was her only family left with her.

This was a lot to take in for everyone as they listened silently. No one said after Kriya finished saying.

"Why guys? Why did you hide this from us? Aur Swayam tune bhi hum sab se ye baat chupayi? Tu toh bata sakta tha na? Aur kya kya hain jo tum humse chupa rahe ho?" Rey asked feeling hurt thinking how Swayam could not share such a big thing with him.

Everyone was hurt as Swayam being their long term friend didn't felt like sharing such a big thing with them.

"Rey ap Swayam ko kuch mat kahiye, maine hi kaha tha ki hum sare problems khatam ho jane ke baad ap sabko Taani aur mere bare me batayenge." Kriya said defending Swayam. It was her and Taani's decision to not say anything to the gang as there were already a lot of problems they were facing for their academy.

"Enough Kriya! I don't expect anything from you. I thought tum ab toh trust karti ho hum sab pe. But no you thought of hiding this jaise ki tumne 2 years pehle kiya tha. And I don't think there would have been any harm if you have told us before." Rey said getting angry with Kriya that she has done the same what she did last time, and then she said sorry for hiding this.

"Rey... please maine jo kuch bhi kiya hain sab ki bhalai ke liye kiya hain. Aur agar main Taani ke bare mein ap sabko bata deti toh Swayam tut jate aur ap sab bhi dance mein concentrate nahi kar pate." Kriya said calmly very well aware of Rey's anger.

Everyone looked at her in confusion hearing this when Kriya turned to Swayam and said,

"Swayam maine apse Taani ke bare mein ek baat chupayi hain aur main apse ye baat nahi chupana chahti thi par Taani ke promise ke wajah se main kuch nahi keh payi. Taani ne kaha tha ki jab sab thik ho jaye main apko ye baat bata du."

Swayam was waiting for Kriya to continue not knowing that the news will be shocking not only for him but for everyone present over there.

"Vishesh is no more. He met with an accident and lost his life. (She paused a little and looked at everyone's shocked face). Vishesh ke chale jane ke baad she was all alone handling herself. I don't know main apko ye kause batau but jab main Taani se mili I felt she was just being happy from outside but she looked so broken. Wo dikha nahi rahi thi lekin pata chal raha tha ki wo sirf aur sirf dusro ke liye khush hain. I know apko ye janne ka haq hain but ap already problem me the isliye Taani ne apko nahi bataya." Kriya said whatever she observed in the limited time when she was with Taani.

Swayam who was always calm and behaved maturely was hurt with the fact that no one from his family told about this to him and not even Taani wanted him to know. Was he such a bad brother? Did he fail being her big protective brother? How can he not know about Taani's wellbeing? He should have once called her and asked her was everything fine with her?

Rey wasn't in the state to react. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He knew how sensitive Taani is and she was in this situation all alone. For once she could have told him about this. He would have been there for her.

Maybe she didn't want him to be there because she has left him because of his mistake.

This is his entire fault. He was blaming himself.

"This is my fault Swayam. Sab meri galti hain. Aj Taani ke sath job hi ho raha hain sab meri wajah se." Rey said blaming himself for Taani's condition. Everyone in the hall knew hwat he meant except Kriya who was unaware of TaaRey's love story.

"Rey please tu apne apko blame karna band kar." Swayam said as he kept his hands on Rey's shoulder.

"No dude, agar main Taani se break up nahi karta toh wo aj mere sath hoti. And we would have been the happiest couple. But meri ek galti ne uski life barbaad kar di. Mujhe chodne pe majbur kiya. Na main use break up karta aur na wo mujhe chod ke jati aur nahi Vishesh se engagement hoti." Rey said with the tears in his eyes.

He felt he was the one to be blamed. Swayam hugged him as he was blaming himself for whatever happened with Taani.

"You were in relationship with Taani." kriya who till now stood shocked listening to his talks said as she came to the conclusion that they were in relationship.

That night was the longest night for everyone many new things were revealed making them think what destiny has planned for them.

"Argh.. Oh god!! This headache" Taani said holding her head as soon as she woke up next morning.

She sat holding her head and opened her eyes only to find herself in her won room. She looked around in confusion thinking she only remembered herself taking drinks after drinks then she went on the dance floor and suddenly she was pulled by of course Rithwik.

She thought Rithwik might have bought her home and went to get ready.

In India

Rey got up in the morning only to find him sleeping on sofa with the laptop and his eyes fell on Taani's pic. He caressed her picture with his love filled eyes, he recalled the last night. He felt whatever happened with Taani was his fault; if only he hadn't done that fake breakup drama then she wouldn't have to suffer after vishesh's death. He never asked about Taani thinking it would be awkward situation between him and SWayam.

He stopped himself from thinking more because it will only make him feel guilty about everything and went to get ready.

In London

Everyone in the hall was tense thinking how will Taani react to this news. It will break her after reading the news. They still remember how broken she was after her memory loss when she was used by their enemy and they lost a big contract.

Taani stepped down the stairs as everyone looked at her. She could see the worry in their eyes. Her eyes knitted in confusion as they looked at her.

"Hey guys!! Wassup? Tum sab itne tense kyun lag rahe ho?" Taani asked as she took a seat beside Asha and started searching for newspaper.

"Guys, have you seen newspaper? She asked still searching for it.

"No.." Vicky answered as he has seen the headline in the newspaper and didn't want Rey or Swayam to see. They had enough of it yesterday now he can't see his bestfriend broken after seeing the news.

"Main kaka ko puchta hun unhone zarur dekha hoga." Rey said to the boys except Swayam who wasn't present in the hall.

"Actually aj newspaper aya hi nahi ha Bharat aj kaha aya newspaper." Nilesh said looking at bharat who agreed with him.

"Aj newspaper nahi aya how come that happen?" Taani asked in confusion.

"Common Taani aj late ho gaye honge. Don't be like a 50 year old business woman who needs newspaper for everything. We have tv for news you know." Rohan said as the matter of the fact but then realized what he said and looked around to see everyone glaring at him.

Taani switched on the tv only to get the remote snatched by Nikita.

"You are not watching tv we are spending time with you. You are living tomorrow." Nikita said saving the news from Taani.

"What? But I thought I'm living today." Taani said as she remembered her flight is in evening.

"No you are living tomorrow. And your flight for today is cancelled." Nikita said.

"Okay but give me the remote I want to see the news common..!" taani said as she tried to snatch the remote from Nikita.

Both the girls started pulling the remote towards them like a tug of war.

Here Rey also switched on the tv to distract himself but the boys were not leaving him alone and they even snatched the remote from Rey.

Rey was trying to get the remote from the boys who weren't giving him the remote for the reason he didn't knew. That's when Rey had enough and he snatched the remote with a force that all fell down and that's when they heard the woman on the news talking.

"Ms. Taani Shekhawat and Mr. Rithwik Singhania have been found in a hotel room all alone spending the whole night in the same room. They have been seen in together in business meeting, in parties and in most of the club. When they were asked whether they are dating their answer would always be no. but looking at all these whether you think theses business tycoons are just friends or something more than friends?"

Hearing the noise from hall swayam also came out and heard everything along with the girls. Everyone in the hall stood shocked except the boys who already knew about the news.

Everyone looked at Rey who was still looking at the screen where few pictures of Rithwik and Taani were playing. But there was one picture that broke his heart into million pieces which he knew Taani, his Taani will never do. The picture showed taani and Rithwik sleeping in same bed.

Taani stared at her and Rithwik's photo of last night. They were sleeping together which she knew never happened. Everyone present over there knew this isn't the truth. Whatever they were showing was all false.

Taani slowly moved back and turned around and ran upstairs ignoring everyone's call behind and locked herself in her room still registering the whole news.
