Kiran Rao
Kiran Rao was born into a family from Telangana on 7 November 1973. Her paternal grandfather was J. Rameshwar Rao, Raja of Wanaparthy, Mahbubnagar district, Telangana state. She was raised in Kolkata where she attended Loreto House . In 1992, her parents decided to leave Kolkata so she moved to Mumbai. She graduated with an economics major from the Sophia College for Women (Mumbai) in 1995.
Sonal Singh Chauhan
Sonal Singh Chauhan is a fashion model,singer and an actress. She has won several beauty contests and made her debut as an actress in the movie Jannat. She was crowned as the Miss World Tourism 2005 at Miri, Sarawak state of Malaysia. She is the first Indian to have claimed Miss World Tourism title. She has also appeared in the ads of brands like DishTv, Ponds and Nokia. She also appeared on the cover page of FHM and The Man magazine. She hails from a traditional Rajput family from Manipur, Uttar Pradesh.
Bhagyashree Patwardhan
Bhagyashree was born on 23 February 1969. She is best known for her debut lead role in the movie Maine Pyar Kiya for which she won Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year. Bhagyashree hails from the Patwardhan royal Marathi family of Sangli in Maharashtra. Her father Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan, is the current Raja of Sangli. She is the eldest of three daughters, the other two being Madhuvanti and Purnima.

Their paternal grandmother, Ila Devi, was the princess of Cooch Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi. Their paternal great-grandmother Indira was the only daughter of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda. Their maternal great-grandfather Adinath Sen was a prominent Kolkata businessman, whose son Dinanath Sen - a relative of former Union Law Minister Ashoke Kumar Sen- was the Diwan or a Minister of the Maharaja of Tripura. Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi Rao Hydari was born on 28 October 1986 into two royal lineages, that of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and J. Rameshwar Rao of erstwhile Raja of Wanaparthy family. She is the great-granddaughter of Akbar Hydari and the grand niece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, former Governor of Assam.
Her maternal grandparents are Raja J Rameshwar Rao, who headed the administration of Wanaparthi state during its day, and Shanta Rameshwar Rao,a much respected educationalist in the city of Hyderabad and the chairperson of publishing house Orient Blackswan. Her mother has Mangalorean Konkani roots.
Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan was born on 16 August 1970 in New Delhi, India. He is the son of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, a former captain of the Indian cricket team and the titular Nawab of Pataudi from 1952 until 1971, when the remuneration and privileges of the princes were abolished by the Government of India and official recognition of their titles was ended. Khan is of Bengali Tagore ancestry on his mother's side.
His paternal ancestors came to subcontinent during the times of the Lodhi dynasty. His paternal grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, eighth Nawab of Pataudi, played cricket for England and after 1947 for India as the captain of the team. His paternal grandmother was Sajida Sultan, Begum of Bhopal and his paternal great-uncle was Sher Ali Khan Pataudi, who served in British Indian Army, and after moving to Pakistan, following the Partition of India, became a general in Pakistani army.
Alisa Khan
