why go back in time or leap in any show...

I don't like leaps in a show...I feel cheated...and it seems to be the norm in indian serials to have a leap of years sometimes...why is this done...why can't the writers write an interesting story and take it along as it should be...now we have in our show a back in times story...why is this needed at this time...why can't you move the story forward with abhi and pragya being together and fighting against all odds...no this time abhi has to loose his memory and forget his love pragya...according to prani...definitely is a lack of thinking on the part of the writers where they simply cannot write a good script and move the story forward in the timeline that it is in...😡
