Randhir (to himself): i am sorry sanyu. I always calls you my best friend but i never told you the most important truth of my life. I want to tell you about sanaya but i can't as i have promised her not to disclose our relationship to anyone. I hope you forgive me
His worried eyes met with sanaya who blinked her eyes as if assuring him that everything will be okay.
It was time to go home. Sanaya was packing her bag in the classroom when she felt a pair of hands encircling her waist and taking her in a back hug.
Sanaya (smiles without turning): so now you have got time for me.
Randhir (still hugging her): what to do baby..you know fatty can't handle anything without me. First that file assignment and then she also made me complete her yesterday assignment which she forgot to complete or I should say that she deliberately left it because she knew randhir will do it
Sanaya (turning around and putting her hands around his neck): aww my poor baby is so tired..so tell me what should I do to make by baby energetic.
Randhir (pulling her more closer so that their breath were getting mingled): well I think a kiss can do the work
Saying this he was about to capture her lower lips when they heard someone shouting his name. They quicky parted away. There came sanyukta with her hand bag and look at them confusingly.
Sanyukta: rannu sanaya what were you guys doing here and (looking at randhir): and I was searching for you in the whole college and you were here..
Randhir (stole a glance of sanaya and scratching his nape): actually I was also looking for you only and when I came here then found sanaya here too so thought of having a word with her. so why were you looking for me
Sanyukta (hitting his forehead): dump head why will I look for you at his time. Of course because I need to go home and you are dropping me.
Randhir (looking at sanaya fallen face): sanyu do one thing today you manage on your own or I will ask parth to drop you home.i have some work so I won't be able to drop you home today.
Sanyukta: oye chup kar you are dropping me and that is final. I am not going with parth or any one else. And why should I when I have my bestie at my service (winking at him)
Randhir :sanyu tu (interrupted by sanaya )
Sanaya: randhir I think she is right. You should drop her first. Other work can be done later also. Look at the time its already late how will she manage on her own. (picking her bag and waving them): bye sanyukta..(looking at randhir and giving him a small smile): bye randhir see you later.
Randhir was looking at sanaya back until she disappeared from his vision when he felt a tap on his shoulder.
Sanyukta: ab kya jab tak watchman bhaiya hume yahan se nikaal nhi denge tab tak rukne ka irada hai kya..idiot I am getting late so come fast.
Randhir: sanyu tu ab bahut stubborn hogyi hai..sab sahi bolte hai maine tujhe zada sir par chada rakha hai..samjha kar yar har bande ki apni priority hoti hai..mai humesha aese tere saath nhi rahunga...you can't always rule me like this.
Sanyukta (getting angry): sorry it was solely my mistake. I shouldn't disturb you. But I promise I won't do it now. Thank you so much for telling me my place in your life.
Saying this she left leaving a guilty and frustrated randhir behind. Sanyukta was walking alone on the road and frequently wiping her tears. She was hell angry on randhir. How can he talk like this with her. she is his best friend after all.She stopped when she heard the horn of his bike. She turned around to find him sitting on his bike looking at her with his oh-so-innocent puppy face while holding his ears. Her heart wanted to melt but her brain replayed his words so she held her chin high and started walking again. After some time again someone again stop her by holding her duppataa. She knew who was it after all whenever they find it seems like cat caught his tongue so he always stay quite but apologizes through his gesture. She turned around only to find him holding balloons and his other hand was holding sorry note. She made him leave her duppataa and again started walking. This time there was small smile on her lips. How can she stay angry with her rannu for a long time specially when he apologizing in such a cute manner but still she wanted to pull his leg so continued her act. Few minutes passed and still there was no act from him so she slightly turned around only to find the road empty.
Sanyukta: idiot..itani jaldi chala gaya abhi to maza aana shuru hua tha...good for nothing jerk.
Saying this she turned only to get a mini heart-attack to find him standing in front fof her with a smile and two cornetto ice creams in his hand.
Randhir : looking for me sanyu
Sanyukta: no obviously not..i will I look for a Mr nobody. I was just looking for auto and why are you still here. Look I am very angry on you and will not talk to you at any cost..
Randhir (smirking): ohoo to mai Mr nobody hu..moti itani jaldi apne bestie ko bhul gyi tu..(dramatically): oh god ye sunne se pehle mujhe utha kyu nhi lia jab meri apni moti mujhe MR NOBODY bol rhi hai..bhul gyi tu vo saare assignment jo maine raat ko jag jag ke tere lia complete kia the..vo saari scoldings jo mujhe teri wajah se padti hai..vo mera apna free time to sacrifice kar tujhe maths padana jisse tu tapak na jaye...huh itna sab kuch karne ke baad tu mujhe aese bol rhi hai
Sanyukta (putting her palm on his mouth): abe chup hoja meri drama queen..god who will say that randhir singh shekhwat the topper of F.I.T.E. can also do such silly acts.
Randhir: its only because of you I have become like this varna mai to jab college aaya tha to kitna massom bacha tha
Sanyukta (hitting him playfully): aww who that means I spoiled you poor baby..(snatching her ice cream from his start eating it) if you shout like this again on me then mind my words I will never talk to you infact chodke chali jaungi tumhe samjha
Randhir : okay madam..i will not shout on you like this...but aese chodne ki baatien mat kar ek tu to hai jo mujhe itne ache se samjhti hai
Sanyukta (licking the ice cream): hmm correct
Randhir: sanyu should I ask something from you
Sanyukta: if I will say no will it affect you no right then why are you asking say na
Randhir :sanyu if some day you came to know that I have a girlfriend and I haven't told you about this then what will you do..
Sanyukta (stop abruptly and look at him with blank expression): what's the matter rannu..why are you talking like this..do...do you have someone in your life.
Randhir (he was very nervous): first you say na what will you do if someday something like this came in front of you
Sanyukta: I will break off all my ties with you rannu because that day the person in front of me won't be my best friend rannu. Because best friends are like mirrors they don't lie to each other. You know its not easy for me to trust someone but still I trust you blindly I know you will never ever do something that will make me question on our bond. And why are we discussing all this I know my rannu won't lie to me so why I am thinking all this... vaise bhi ek mai hi hun jo tujhe jhel leti hu varna tere se kon pategi saara din to books me khoosa rehta hai
Randhir slowly nod his head. Now this was something that was eating him from inside. He surely loves sanaya very much but he also can't deny the fact sanyu is also the integral part of his life. He will never be able to bear with the fact that she will leave him someday. He can't loose a friend like her. she is his only friend who can see the pain in his eyes when he is smiling and fooling everyone even sanaya also can't catch him. She is the one who supported him in his hard times and even fight with the world when it comes to him. How can he tell that this time she is wrong. He is not worthy of her trust. When he and sanaya were in relation in the initial days he wanted to share with but sanaya never allowed him reason being she is a girl and she don't want others to make her gossip topic by discussing about her love life. Especially when she knew how girls of his college envy sanyukta just because randhir the crush of many girls is her best friend. She don't want to get add in their list. And randhir being a caring boyfriend respect her wishes. But now the matter is slipping from his hand. He fear one day sanyukta will left him if she got to know about them from someone else .
His trance was broken by sanyukta voice who was asking him to start bike as it was about to rain. They were ridding peacefully on his bike when rain started pouring. Sanyukta started enjoying the rain by spreading her arms like wings. Randhir was watching her antics from rear view and smiling at her childish nature.
Whereas the other soul was in some other land. Who won't be when you are enjoying the first rain of monsoon with your love. She slowly kept her hand on his shoulder and smile shyly. Its been four years of friendship still a mere closeness with left her with dancing butterflies in her stomach.
Sanyukta (in thoughts): today when rannu said about someone in his life I felt like my heart stop beating for a minute. But thank god that's not true. I know I am not that pretty that he choose me out of all the beautiful girls in our college and because of that fear only I am not able to confess my love to him. I have already very few people in my life and rannu he is my life. I just can't live without him. I have already love with him the day he forwarded his hand of friendship to me. I being a not so beautiful and popular of the college never expected a boy like randhir to come and ask my hand for friendship. He is the only one who never judge me on the basis of my figure.
Her trance broke by randhir who asked her to get down as they were near her house. He never dropped on door steps as her family was little conservative and will not like a random boy dropping their girl home.
It was night time and the whole world was in a peaceful slumber but its rightly said sleep becomes your distant relative when you deeply fall in love with someone especially when the atmosphere is so romantic. Cool breezes and wet soil smell were enough for a person in love to wake up even in the odd hour of night and same was the case with three of them.
Sanaya (sitting on the swing in her night dress in thoughts): every time when we both try to get close to each other something or the other happen. Meeting you was just a play of destiny and who would have knew that I will lost my heart at first sight. I know randhir you love me very much but sometimes your priority won't let us get close. Sometimes its you studies or your personal commitments. I know you care for sanyukta very much and she is not doing it deliberately but still sometimes I feel like someone will snatch you from me. (looking in the sky): god please show us correct path so we knew what is right for us. Please do something that will sort out our lives and direct us to our ultimate destinations. I know we human can get blind in our selfishness but you know what or who is right for us please help us to make correct choices.
On the hand there was another soul. Randhir was sitting in his pool area dipping his legs in the water and watching the sky as if talking to god
Randhir : I really don't know what is happening in our lives. I am actually very confused. On one hand there is sanaya the love of my life who has define new meaning to my life. I feel really bad when I have to ignore her needs and her cravings for my love. I just can't bear that sadness on her face. We are in a relationship from past one year still I have always failed to be dutiful boyfriend. On the other hand there sanyukta the soul of my life who has always stood by my side in every good- bad times. Throughout my life all the people I have met only want to get close to me because of my status and intelligence. Everyone has a motive of being friendly with me but sanyu..she was the first person whom I have seen with such selfless nature. She always think of others before her. she even feel bad for the people who had hurt her. she is such a bundle of innocence. I don't want to loose her. but I know whenever she will get to know about my and sanaya relation she will be very hurt. God sanyu says you always heard the prayers when they are made from pure heart. So please help me. I just can't afford to loose both the ladies of my life. Please help me to be with my real love and also do something so that sanyu never leave me and we both stay like this together forever and I also never loose my love
Looking outside the window sanyukta was just enjoying the cool breeze with her hot chocolate milk.
Sanyukta: life is so strange who would have thought that I will fall in love so easily and deeply with someone. Earlier I used to think that all boys are same they all after pretty faces with beautiful bodies. But I was so wrong. boys like randhir still exist who love the person soul not their bodies. He always made me feel so special and wanted..something which I haven't feel from so long. God ji please aap randhir ko mujhse kabhie dur mat kijiyega...bahut pyar karti hu use..usse dure hone ka dukh mai seh nhi paungi..please kuch aesa kar dijiye jiise hum dono ek saath bhand jaye aur humhe koi alag na kar paye..i promise mai use kabhie complain ka chance nhi dungi,,I will love him more than my life...but please carved his name in my destiny
And there the stars in the sky twinkle as if smiling and granting the wishes of them. But how god will grant three wishes at a time specially when they are interrelated. But may be he has some plans.
