IshRa OS- Pehli Diwali

I just hope I did justice to the characters and the story. I hope you guys will have a good read. Regarding this One shot and the previous one, I am still confused about Pihu's reaction. I was watching some old episodes and it was Raman's insistence that they go for surrogacy. Ishita was content with Ruhi and Adi. So I think that Pihu is solely Raman's daughter. That's my POV.

This OS is a continuation from my old OS, IshRa OS- Second chances

So please before you read this One Shot, do read the other OS.

Here is the link-

As the newlywed Ishita and Raman left the temple along with their kids, Adi and Ruhi in tow, Adi and Ruhi had made grand plans to gift his parents the new start they deserved.

They deserved the perfect moments which will be etched in the memories. Their first wedding was under unusual circumstances. Raman married so he would get a namesake wife and most importantly his daughter would get a loving mother. Ishita married so she could mother a daughter and raise her. For both it was a convenient setting, get married and play husband and wife in front of the world. Be the perfect parents for Ruhi and their job would have been finished. But destiny had other plans for them. While donning the roles of the perfect husband and wife, they were unaware of the growing proximity and the feelings they harboured for each other. Slowly but steadily they started to understand each other, slowly they started to take care of each other, slowly started to change and slowly started to do things to make the other happy. Slowly they realised that they loved each other. Their happiness when they won Ruhi's custody, their life had started to build. Not anymore for Ruhi's sake, but for them. Their marriage, their feelings had changed over the one year they spent together. They fought, they accused, they laughed, and they danced and fell in love.

Adi: "Ruhi, please convince Ishimaa and papa."

Ruhi : "Haan, I will. Ruko to sahi. Let them just enjoy this joy, the joy of being together for themselves. Not for me, not for you. They got together for Ishita and Raman's love."

Adi smiled understanding what Ru was trying to explain. They had not witnessed their parents so happy in these few weeks after Ishimaa's revelation. Though Ruhi was part of every marriage ritual, Adi was not. He wanted to cherish these memories.

While Ishita and Raman sat in the car, Adi and Ru joined in too. While they were driving home, Ruhi spoke.

Ruhi: "Papa, lets go to our farmhouse na, please..."

Raman: "Abhi?"

Ruhi: "Haan, abhi kya problem hai? I mean aap logon ke liye keh rahi hoon main. Aap ko waha koi nai disturb karega, aapka romance main no kabab main haddi, nahi Dadi nor Paati..." she said trying to contain her laughter.

Ishita was blushing listening to their kids making romantic plans for them. Raman equally blushed.

Adi : "Ishimaa, ab ismain sharmane ki kya baat hai, Ruhi sahi to keh rahi hai."

Ishita: "Dono ko kheech ke maroongi, Raman aap kuch to bolo na" she whined.

Raman: "Main kya bolu. Bilkul mujhpe gaye hai, besharam. Aur waise bhi Ishita, sahi to keh rahe hai."

This particular line from Raman made Ishita blush and look away.

Raman: ""Besharamo, kuch to reham karo mujhpe. Waise farmhouse jaake kya karenge?"

It was time Adi and Ruhi announced, there is a surprise waiting for you in the farmhouse. Raman and Ishita were very happy, their kids had planned all this for them, so they could get some time away from everybody, from the tensions and meddling of family members. They both smiled and reached the farmhouse.

As they got out from the car, they saw the entire house decorated like it is decorated in Diwali. Lighting and diyas kept everywhere, making the house look like a "Shaadi ka Ghar."

Raman: "Adi yeh sab kya hai? Itni decoration, how did you manage?"

Adi: "Wo sab chod do, aap chalo to."

While Ruhi and Adi went inside, they told these two to wait.

Ishita: "Adi aur Ru, humain yahan kyun khada kiya hai? Ruhi, kuch to bolo."

Ruhi: "Aaai Ishimaa, thoda intezaar to karo na."

Ishita: "Yeh bache bhi na, pata nai kya naya surprise hai" she said looking at Raman.

Raman: "Are apne bache hai, koi acha hi surprise hoga. Chill Ishita."

And then they saw Ruhi coming with an aarti ki thali and Adi coming with a kalash in his hands.

Ruhi did their Aarti and welcomed them in the house.

Adi: "Ishimaa, is kalash ko gira ka please grah pravesh kar lijiye. Aaj aapka aur papa ke rishte ki nayi shuruat hai." He said with tears brimming his eyes.

As Raman and Ishita walked in the house, Ishita finally took the grandeur of the house. It was beautifully decorated. Ruhi helped Ishita and Raman to their wedding suite. It was decorated too.

Ruhi: "Aap log rest karo, romance karo, aapki marzi" she said teasingly and closed the door shut behind her.

Raman and Ishita found themselves in an awkward position yet again, not because of the atmosphere but because of their kids's naughtiness.

Ishita moved towards the window to see the garden also decorated with lamps. She looked in the sky to see a beautiful bright moon keeping company with the stars, as if enhancing the beauty of the dark sky. Raman going up behind her, and grabbing her waist, encircling her with his two arms, he pulled her against him. Leaning into her ear, he whispered "Here's to a new beginning" and turned his wife around in one quick move. He leaned down and planted a kiss on her lips, slowly easing them open as they both drowned themselves in each other, their tongues fiercely battling, their love shining through.

He picked her up and gently placed her on the wonderfully decorated bed. He slid next to her, tucked her strand of hair and dropped gentle kisses on her eyes. He traced her face his fingers, sending shivers down her body. Even after 7 years of being apart, he still had that magnetic effect on her. She blushed and was about to pull his sensuous lips for a kiss when they both heard someone knocking the door. The sudden knocking made them pull apart.

Ruhi: "Ishimaa, Adi bhaiya aur main aapka aur papa ka wait kar rahe hai. Something is planned for you both. Jaldi aao na neeche."

Ishita: "Itni subah kya plan kiya hai?" she asked irritated. She wanted this time with Raman, it had been years they were this close, their kids had given them such beautiful surprise and now they were only messing it all up.

Ishita: "Yeh Ruhi aur Adi bhi na, yahan aapke saath rehna chahti hoon ab aur neeche jao." Her remarks didn't surprise Raman, he had seen her passion for him a minute ago.

Raman: "Ab jab tak neeche nai jayenge, ye donon shaitan chain se thodi baithenge. Dekh ke to aate hai kya hai. Aur bolenge pasand nai aya surprise."

With Raman assuring her, both went down and were again stumped by their kids planning.

Ishita: "Ab yeh sab kya hai?"

Raman: "Yeh saari taiyari to Diwali jaise lag rahi hai."

Adi: "Haan papa, exactly. Diwali pe hi to Bhagwan Ram apni Sita ko lekar wapas Ayodhya aaye the. Aap bhi to 7 saal ke wanwaas ke baad Ishimaa ko lekar ghar aaye hai."

Raman and Ishita's eyes were brimming with tears. First of all, their kids had accepted them back, Ruhi had forgiven them, Adi had acknowledged Ishita's role in shaping his life, and yet above all, these two compared them to Ram and Sita, the eternal couple of the Hindu mythology.

Adi: "Aur waise bhi papa, sirf Ruhi ne aapke aur Ishimaa ke saare rituals dekhe hai, to aaj mere liye, please saari rituals ko repeat karte hai na. First we start with the famous oil bath."

Ishita smiled and nodded, but Raman had his own problems.

He took Adi to a corner and asked,

Raman: "Abe ye sab theek hai, par mujhe lungi kon pehnayega?"

Adi: "Main aur kaun?"

Raman: "Tum? Are you crazy? Beta apne baap ko?"

Ishita understood Raman's problem while managing her giggling along with Ru.

Ruhi: "Sahi hai na papa. Aajtak you did things for us, today we shall do it for you. Aap bas relax karo. We knew you were going to propose to Ishimaa. Actually humne aapki baatein sun li thi. Tabhi Adi bhaiya ne jaake lungi pehente kaise hai seekh ke aa gaya."

Ishita twisted Adi and Ru's ears together.

Ishita: "Badmaash, par tumne jo kiya, thankyou for that."

Ruhi gifted Ishita a new, beautiful kanjeevaram, red and white colored with delicate gold embossing. Adi gifted a white lungi and red shirt to Raman.

As Raman sat in the huge bowl, waiting for Ishita to start the rituals, he remembered all their Diwali moments. He was blessed again to have that life with his beloved wife; he himself had pushed her away seven years ago. He was not going to repeat his mistake.

He looked up to see Ruhi accompanying his beautiful bride, the silhouette was not so pretty but his wife made the ordinary piece of cloth look ethereal. She looked elegant in simple makeup, the sacred thread adorning her neck and the sindoor making her look complete in every sense.

As Ishita sat down for applying oil to Raman, Adi started capturing these precious moments along with Ruhi. Ishita and Raman were engrossed in their lovely banter and their sweet nothings, they didn't realise when Adi and Ruhi had disappeared from the scene.

Ishita: "Utho Raman, go and take a shower, I will take care of the rest."

Before Raman left, he gently pecked Ishita's forehead.

Adi: "Ru, tumhe nai lagta hamare parents kuch jyaada hi romantic hai?" he passed a comment seeing Raman and Ishita.

Ruhi: "Obviously Adi bhaiya. Aaj wo sirf unke liye wapas kareeb aaye hai. And that's beautiful. They have finally accepted that they love each other without any obligations, with out the skeletons of the past. I am really happy."

Adi: "Main bhi".

Adi and Ruhi hugged each other and decided to go back home, give their parents the much needed alone time.

Ruhi: "Ishimaa, we are leaving, aap enjoy karo."

Ishita: "Lekin tum log kyun jaa rahe ho? Tum logon ke bina kya enjoy?"

Raman who had witnessed this conversation, butt in,

Raman: "Ab bache bol rahe hai na, to jaane do na, ab chote nai hai wo. Itna plan kar sakte hai to ghar pe bhi jaa sakte hai."

He asked Ru and Adi for a hug, and Ishita captured this wonderful moment in her heart.

As the kids left, Raman picked up Ishita and walked up to the bedroom for them to cherish their night of togetherness, their night of celebration, their night of love.

As the candles were blown away, the couple cherished their night of unison.

It was a new beginning for Raman and Ishita!

The End!

I hope I loved upto the expectations of the fans😳

Love,

Mayu
