"Meri bas chale na toh mein aapki shakal bhi na dekhun...i hope tumhari ye wish puri hojaye. Aur tumhe meri shakal dobara na dekhni pade". These were the words that were ringing in her mind. And then she thought of Tej uncle's words that Shivaay's phone wasn't reachable d there was no sign of him. Fear crept into her heart. "Agar unhe kuch hogaya toh. Nahi mein unhe kuch nahi hone dunga. Main bhi pata nahi kya kya bol diya. Mujhe kisi bhi halat mein unhe dhoinda na hoga." She thought to herself nd opened the file which was in her hand.
"Ye kya hai? Ye toh meri file nahi hai." She was confused when she was called out by somebody.
"Madam ji vo sir ke file aur aap ke file exchange hogayi thi. Toh aap unka file dedijiye."
"Par meri file kahan hai?"
"Vo..." nd the man was searching. "Lagta hai sir ke paas hi rehgaya."
"Toh mein tumhare saath aati hun. Mein ye file dedungi aur meri file lelungi". She said nd didnt inform dadi about it nd left.
She wanted to purposely go to see whether he was alright. How did the files exchange. Then she goes into her flashback in the morning.
She was walking in the corridor nd he was coming in the opposite direction. Both were looking into their files. They bumped onto each other nd she was about to fall when he held her on the right time. Jer hands were around his neck and his hands around her waist holding her protectively. Both stared into each other's eyes nd were lost for some moments. Then he made her stand properly nd they had a small argument.
"Aap dekh ke nahi chal sakte kya?" She asked him.
"Yehi sawaal main tumse bhi pooch sakta hun." He retorted back. "Aur subah subah iski shakal dekhna pada mujhe."
She bent down nd took the wrong file as both were blue in colour.
"Meri bas chale na toh main aapke shakal kabhi na dekhun"
"I hope tumhari ye wish puri hojaye. Aur tumhe mere shakal dobara na dekhni pade."
She was back into reality. "Kash mein vo sab na kehti. Kya zaroorat thi mujhe vo sab kehne keliye." She mentally cursed herself. She was almost about to reach the place. Someone else was also thinking about the same incident. He couldnt forget her eyes. They way she looked at him. There was something unknown that he felt towards her. Nd he was left thinking all about her.
There was commotion at the Oberoi Mansion. Every one were tensed as there was no news of Shivaay. They were very worried nd due to this dadi totally forgot about Anika.
Anika reached the place nd Shivaay saw her nd got down the chopper. Both were walking towards each other. They met a little bit distamce from the Chopper. She was glad to see him fine. But still she felt something wrong was gonna happen.
"Ye lejiye aapka file." Nd she handed it over to him.
And he handed hers. He turned to leave when..
"Aap theek toh hai na?" She asked wid a worried expresseion. He turned to her nd he was surprised by her question.
"Kyun??" He asked
"Kuch nahi bas... " nd suddenly there was a sudden explosion.
Anika saw the chopper burst nd a part of it was flying towards Shivaay wid so much force. She quickly pushed him away nd it hit her head. Blood was oozing out of her head badly. Shivaay was shocked at the happenings. She couldnt take the pain nd dizziness over took her nd she fell into his arms. He carried her nd took to the car. He drove to the nearest hospital nd got her admitted. He called Om. Om was happy seeing Shivaay's number on his phone.
"Bhai tu theek to hai na?"
"Haan mein theek hun aur tum jaldi Mehta hospital mein aana."
Nd he ended the call. Om was confused nd others asked what happened. Om told everything nd everyone were confused as to why Shivaay was calling him to Hospital. Om was about to leave when
"O main bhi aap ke saath chalta hun" said Rudra.
"Theeke". Both the brotbers left nd reached the Hospital. They saw Shivaay pacing left nd right tensedly. Rudra just ran nd hugged his elder brother.
"Thank God bhai ke aap theek hai. Aapko pata hai ki him log kitne pareshaan hogaye the. Aur aapne hume yahan kyun bulaya?"
The doctor came outside. "Mr. Oberoi fikr karne ki koi baat nahi. She is out of danger. Bus sarr pe kuch zyaada hi chot lag gayi. Kuch hafto mein theek hojayega. Filaal ke liye humne unhe injection diya hai nd she needs a lot of rest."
"Thank you doctor. Kya hum usse mil sakte hai?" asked Shivaay.
"Sure". He was relieved to know she was alright. Both the brothers were staring at him. Then Shivaay narrated the whole story. Both of them were equally shocked. They went to see her. She was sleeping. Seeing her wound Shivaay felt sorry for her. He just looked at her.
"Anika di ne aapko bachaya hai. Such mein bohot brave ladki hai."
They exited the room. Suddenly Anika's fone rang. It was wid Shivaay the nurse had given it to her. Shivaay answered it. He put it on speaker phone.
"Hello didi aap kahan ho? Aapne promise kiya tha na ki aap aaj jaldi aajayenge. Kab aa rahi hai aap?" Asked sahil. All the three bros were looking at each other not knowing what to do. Shivaay disconnected the call. Shivaay asked Om nd Rudra to go and get Sahil to the hospital. He entered the room nd sat beside her on a stool. He was just gazong at her. He remembered how she saved him. He started speaking wid her.
"Kyun? Aisa kyun kiya tumne. Tumhi toh meri shakal dekhna nahi chahti thi. Toh phir kyun tumne mujhe bachaya?" He asked her. She stirred nd he straightened. She slowly opened her eyes. She saw him sitting beside her. She smiled faintly at him, thinking that he was alright. He was surprised to see her smiling at him. Before he could ask something she closed her eyes again.
Om nd Rudra enter the room wid Sahil. Shivaay saw him. Sahil did not mind anyone. He just went nd stood near her nd his eyes started flowing wid tears. His voice trembled.
"Di...di..." nd he sniffed. Anika opened her eyes to see him. The OBbros were standing aside. Anika smiled at him nd she called him near.
Om helped him get on the high stool. Sahil saw his didi in that state for the first tym. He turned his face away.
"Naraz ho mujhse?" She asked wid atmost difficulty.
"Haan...aapne kaha ki aap jaldi aajayenge. Lekin aap yahan ho aur vo bhi is halat mein. Ek baar bhi mere bare mein nahi socha na iss SSO ko bachane se pehle?" He asked amidst his tears.
"Teri didi heroine hai na. Toh bachana pada" nd Sahil laughed at this.
"Aapko pata hai mujhe kaisa laga aapko iss halat mein dekh ke. Agar aapko kuch hogaya toh main kaise jee sakta. Aap toh sab kuch hai mere liye. Pehli baar aapko iss tarah dekh raha hun. Bohot darr gaya tha main" He said crying
Anika smiled nd said.
"Jiske panje ko ittu sa diya gira deta ho...arrey usse bhi kya darna?" He looked at her nd both together continued..."jisse jugnu haradeta ho...usse bhi kya darna." Both looked at each other nd smiled. Sahil leaned in nd hugged her. Shivaay Om nd Rudra were awwing at the scene. Sahil sat back nd asked." Vaise is SSO ko bachane ki zaroorat kya tha?" He said pointing at him. Anika just smiled nd didnt answer. They three were confused.
"SSO matlab? Asked Shivaay. Rudra thought nd it hit his mind.
"Anika didi ne kisko bachaya? Aapko. Iska matlab ye hua ki SSO means Shivaay Singh Oberoi." Shivaay smiled at it.
Anika was discharged the night itself. Since dadi wanted to see her. Shovaay nd Om bought her nd Sahil to the Oberoi mansion. All knew what happened.
"Anika putthar tu kaisi hai?" Asked dadi.
"Main theek hun. Mujhe itni aasani se kuch nahi hoga" she said smiling.
"Tum aaj yehi ruk theeke. Priyanka tumhari saath rahegi." Anika nodded. She got up to leave nd she stumbled but Shivaay held her.
"Prinku isko apni room mein lekar chal" he said handing her to prinku.
Anika soon fell into deep slumber.
Shivaay had developed a soft side for her. He couldnt stop thinking about her. It was next morning and Shivaay was at home in the kitchen wid his bros cooking. Anika felt better nd she was passing through kitchen when she saw Shivaay. She thought she had to apologize.
She entered the kitchen. The three saw her.
Shivaay: tum theek ho?
Anika nodded her head in a yes. Om nd Rudra smiled warmly at her.
"Vo mujhe...mujhe aapse...mujhe maaf kardijiye. Mujhe kal subah vo sab kuch nahi kehni chahiye thi. Agar mein ne ye sab na kaha hota toh shayad itna sab kuch nahi hota. Main bhi pagal hun. Mein kasam kaake kehthi hun vo sab meine jaan buch kar nahi kaha. Vo bus muh se nikalgayi. Agar aapko kuch hojaata toh main khud ko kabhi maaf nahi kar paathi. Aapki family ko aapki zaroorat hai. Aur aap vo pillar hai jiske bina shayad sab log saath nahi rahenge. Aur jo dil ki kareeb hote hain unhe khone ka dard,kya hota hai mujhse zyaada kaun samajh saktha hai." All the three were gaping at her. Shivaay never expected this from her. "matlab??" Asked rudra. Shivaay saw that her eyes were brimming wid tears. "Kuch nahi. Shivaay ho sake toh pls mujhe maaf karde na. Mein dil se kisi ka bura nahi chahthi hun. Aur aapke liye maine sach mein aisa bilkul nahi socha. Chalti hun" Shivaay was amazed at her.
"Shivaay tumne notice kiya?" Om asked
"Kya?" He asked confused.
"Vo jaise dikthi hai na vo vaise hai nahi"
"Kya matlab hai tumhara?"
"Matlab ye hai ki vo apni dard ko sabse chupaati hai. Apno ki khushi keliye kuch bhi kar sakthi hai, apni dard ko dabaakar. She just like u Shivaay. Usse insecurities hoti hai par phir bhi doosron keliye strong banti hai. She is just like u. Aur vaise usne aise kya tujhse ki vo tumse maafi maang rahi thi?"
Shivaay tells them all that she said.
"Kitni sweet hai Anika di. Just because usne aapko vo sab keh diya vo bhi bina kuch intentions ki usne aapko bachaya. Aur aap hai ki usse hamesha kuch na kuch kehte rahte ho" said Rudra.
"Mujhe bohot hairaan hua ki usne mujhe bachaya" said Shivaay.
He left the kitchen he passed by her room nd saw that Sahil was feeding her soup. He was looking at her happy face. Dadi came there.
"Kya dekh rahe ho Shivaay?" Nd she too looked at his direction. Bohot acchi ladki hai. Sab ka khayal rakthi hai. Aur agar tu zinda hai to uski vajah se. Aur aaj ke baad usse kuch daat na mat. Bechari. Mein usse milkar aati hun" nd dadi went inside the room. He felt good when he saw her smiling.
After some time he entered the room wid a tray in his hands. She was lying down lost in her thoughts. He coughed nd she looked upto him.
"Isse khaa lo aur apni dawavyaan lelo." He said softly.

Anika was pretty surprised by his gesture. She was staring at him.
"Khaa lo" he said offering the tray. She was out of her trance nd she took the tray.
"Baitiye na" she offered him. He took a chair and sat beside her.
There was some salad nd some soup. Both were stealing glances nd were silent for some time. She took a sip of the soup.
"Accha bana hai." She said without knowing he made for her. He plainly smiled at her.
"Vaise na mein bohot darr gayi thi, ki kahin aapko sach mein kuch hua toh nahin. Bhagwan ka shukr hai ki aapko kuch nahi hua." She said.
He staring blankly at her. Why would she care for him in the least.
"Kyun? Kyun tumne mujhe bachaya? Wajah kya thi aisa karne ki. Sab kehte hi ki mein tere saath bura barthav kartha hun. Mein tumhe hurt kartha hun. Toh phir kyun?" He asked looking at her. She was quite for a moment.
"Vo actually mujhe laga ki sab ko aapka zaroorat hai toh shayad isiliye...iske baad mujhse poochna mat kyun, kyunki uska jawaab mera paas nahi hai. Jo mujhe sahi laga meine vo kiya." She said finishing her dinner. He just stared at her throughout the conversation. Omkara nd Rudra entered the room nd saw Shivaay staring at her. They giggled at him.
"Anika didi kaise ho aap?" This question bought Shivaay to reality.
"Main theek hun." She said smiling. "Khaana kha lee tumne Anika?"asked Om.
"Haan..vaise mujhe soup accha nahi lagta par ye wala soup mujhe bohot accha laga" she said keeping the tray aside.
"Vo isiliye kyunki Shivaay bhaiya ne ye soup khaas aap keliye banaya tha." Said Rudra.
Anika was amazed at it. She looked at him. He looked away.
"Thank you" she said nd this was the third shock Shivaay got from morning. He just looked at her unbelievingly. She took her tablets. Nd sahil barged into the room. Nd on seeing Shivaay beside her he asked.
"Didi ye SSO phir se aapko pareshaan toh nahi kar raha hai na?"
"Nahi mera baccha...ye mere madad kar rahe the." She said smiling.
He went near Shivaay and touched his forehead nd neck. The OBbros were confused but Anika was smiling.
"Kya kar rahe ho tum sahil?" Asked Omkara.
"Nahi Om bhaiyya bas check kar raha tha ki kahin inhe bukhar toh nahi" said Sahil smiling naughtily. Om Rudra nd Anika laughed at this.
All went out nd Anika went to sleep. After sometime Shivaay enetered the room to see whether she was fine. He saw her sleeping.
"Kitni cute lag rahi hai sote waqt." He thought to himself nd smile curved on his lips. She was shivering a bit. He bent nd covered her with the blanket carefully not to disturb her. In her sleep she caught his hand nd held it close to her heart. He tried to release his hand but couldnt. A small smile played on her lips. He sat beside staring at her beauty.
"Kuch toh baat hai tum me jo mujhe har baar mujhe tumhari taraf keechti hain." He thought nd smiled remembering their moments together. She stirred in her sleep nd opened her eyes only to find him staring at her lovingly. She touched to feel him nd got the shock of her life. He turned away nd got up to leave when he fell back on her as she had held his hand. He was now staring into those hazel eyes of hers. Nd she was drowning in his blue orbs. They composed themselves after sometime.
"Aap yaha kya kar rahe the?"
"Main bas dekhne aaya tha ki kahin tumhe kuch chaahiye toh nahi. Aur tab meine dekha ki tumhe tand lag rahi thi aur maine tumhari upar blanket daalthe waqt tumne meri haath pakadliya." He said looking away not to meet her eyes.
She was a bit shy nd she blushed. Nd this didnt go un noticed by Shivaay. He grinned at her lightly.
"Thank you"
"Phir se thank you? Par kyun?"
"Vo meri khayal rakhne keliye..at least itna toh pata chalgaya ki aap utne bhi bure nahi hai...aapke seiene main bhi dil hai" she said chuckling.
"Vaise kya main tumhe kuch pooch sakta hun?"
"Sure..poochiye na"
"Itna sab kuch hogaya aur tumhe milne sirf tumhara bhai aaya hai. Tumhari parents kahan hai. Kya vo out of town hai?"
She looked at him nd said.."Vo out of town nahi hai par bohot saalon pehle meri zindagi se out ho chuke the. Aur ab meri parivaar sirf Sahil hai. Vo dono ab iss duniya mein nahi hai" she said her eyes welling up wid tears. Then only Shivaay realised what she meant when she told that she understood how it feels when we lose someone close to our heart.
"I am sorry...vo mujhe vo sab nahi..."
"Nahi..aap ne toh ek normal sa sawaal poocha hai. Koi baat nahi."
He looked at her. She wiped her tears away nd she smiled.
"She's a hell of a woman. Har baar mujhe speechless kar deti hai" he thought to himself.
"Tum bohot strong ho."
"Strong apno keliye ban na padtha hai. Is duniya ko ladne keliye ban na padtha hai. Aap bhi apne bhaiyon ko apne parivaar ko itna pyaar karthe hain. Aapke mann mein bhi darr rehta hai par aap kisi ko dikhate nahi hai. Kyun aap hi inn sabke support system hai." She said lookin at him. Both smiled.
"Tumhe kaise pata." He asked her.
"Kyun ki jo log aise hote hai vo doosron ke dard samajh sakthe hai" she said smiling at him.
"Aapke saath normaly baat karte hue accha laga" she said. He looked at her nd smiled.
"Vaise ye baat toh guiness world record mein hona chaahiye ki hum dono ne aaj pure din jagda nahi kiya. Ye toh itni badi baat hai. Isi baat pe hi five karte hain." Shivaay chuckled at this realisation nd They both hi fived. Anika held her head nd suddenly it started bleeding again nd her bandaid was getting drenched slowly in blood. Shivaay took her to the bed nd made her sit down. He took the first aid box nd he slowly removed her bandaid. He first cleaned her wound. She winced in pain.
"I am sorry...bohot dard ho raha hai kya?" He asked blowing on her wound. She was touched by his kindness. She didnt answer. He felt her gaze upon him. They shared an eyelock. He got out of his trance nd dressed her wound carefully. He helped her lay down on the bed nd covered her wid a blanket. He was about to leave when she held his hand. He turned to look at her. She didn't speak a word but her eyes spoke volumes. She thanked him.
"Your welcome" he said smiling. Nd she was surprised that he understood her. He switched off the lights nd she clutched his hands. He got worried nd switched on the lights back. She was frightened. He dat beside her nd she hugged him tightly. He felt her hot breath fanning on his neck. He felt different for the first time. He hugged her back to console her. She didnt want to leave him. She felt protected nd loved being in his arms. She smiled feeling the mere thought right now at the moment she was in his arms. Her cheeks turned crimson. He too closed his eyes nd felt the hug. They didnt noe how time passed nd she had fallen asleep on his chest. He slowly pulled her out of the hug nd laid her down. He stopped on his tracks only to notice that she still didnt leave his hand. He smiled nd took his hand out. He turned and looked at her. He didnt know why but he bent down nd kissed on her forehead nd went leaving a smiling Anika in her sleep. She found solace in his arms. Nd he for the first time he felt that "fark padtha hai." He liked the feeling when he was with her. She made him feel peaceful. She slept dreaming about him. While he was in reality thinking only nd only about her...
He asked himself "Was this love. Kya is feeling ko pyaar kehte hai?"
His heart said to him " Jo bhi ho raha hai usse hone do. U will understand love." For the first time he listened to his heart.. " c u tomorrow Anika.." he slept wid a smile etched on his lips.
His heart was jumping up and down thinking "Finally Shivaay Singh Oberoi ko pyaar hobe laga hai. Kal ki savere mere liye naya hoga. Afterall pehli baar iski life mei main pyaar ko mehsoos karne jaa raha hun. Ab tu dekh SSO main tujhse kya kya karvata hun." Said he heart smiling wickedly.
