"Ari!!" Taani walked behind her son with bowl of baby-food in her hand. Arhaan crawled on the floor of living area, away from his mother. He was enjoying the little chase with his mother while his grandparents & other family members were enjoying the scene from dinning area where they were having their breakfast.
"Rey, handle your child. I am tired of running behind him." Taani called out for rey.
"I remember correctly, someone said she has more right over him than anyone else. What happen now? Handle him." Taani groaned loudly when she heard his response.
"Rey! 5 Minutes. You have 5 minutes. Handle your son else i am gonna spank him-" Taani threaten him then she turned to her son who had stopped and was looking at her with pout. Taani took a step near him and again arhaan crawled forward causing his mother to narrow her eyes at him.
"Rey, go before you face wrath of your wife. Messing up with pregnant wife is not an ideal & smart thing to do, you know." Ranvijay said to his son who nodded his head and got up from his place, he walked toward taani.
"Ari, why are you troubling your mumma? Its not a good thing." Rey spoke in baby tone as he moved toward his son who was listening to him with great concentration.
Rey bend down and picked him up in his arms.
"Sidekick." Taani muttered under her breathe. She handed the bowl to rey and walked back to dining area. She sat down on the chair.
"God knows how am i going to handle another one." Taani mumbled, burying her face in her palms.
"Don't worry, taani. You will manage, we all are with you." Avantika assured her.
"Yea! And i have a feeling that our second child will be less troublemaker compare to Ari." Rey said to her as he came and sat on the chair next to her. He made arhaan sit on the table and started feeding him.
"Maa." Little arhaan called out for his mother.
"Don't you dare maa me, papa's sidekick." Taani grumbled, little arhaan pouted looking at his mother.
"Don't be sad, ari. Mumma's mood swings are kicking in." Rey whispered in his son's ear but taani, who was seated next to him heard him and rewarded him with a playful smack on his arm.
"Don't you have office today?" Taani asked him.
"Its sunday." Rey reminded her while feeding his child. Taani hummed in response and begun eating her noodles causing her husband to frown at her.
"Can't you eat something healthy? And Who eat noodles in breakfast?" Rey questioned her in serious tone.
"I do. And i was craving for noodles." Taani replied back to him.
After their conversation about his past, things has changed between them for good. He was more warm up toward her, so was she. The glow which was lost once, was back. She was glowing in his love and pregnancy.
Though she hasn't responded back to his love confession yet, she was in love and he didn't needed her words to tell him that.
"Taani beta, after breakfast take your medicines then rest for a while." Avantika told her. Taani gave a small nod in response.
"Rey, i was thinking why don't we go out for a movie. Just like our old times." Sharon said to rey who was busy in childish talks with his son while feeding him.
"Thats no fun. I would prefer spending my holiday with my Ari." Rey answered honestly with a smile. Sharon sulked back in her seat and gave a curt nod in response.
Taani look at sharon before she narrowed her eyes at her failed attempt of having Rey spend time with her sister. She had noticed, ever since her sister has woken up from coma, she is trying to get Rey back in her sister's life.
"Sharon, i have a suggestion for you. Instead of trying to hook my husband with your sister, help your sister to move on." Taani told her before she got up from her place and left from there.
She was never the one who would sit quietly and turn blind eye to the things happening before her eyes. She knew when to take a stand for herself.
"How could she talk to my di like that? Jiju, you also didn't said anything?" Alisha voiced out her anger seeing taani insulting her sister infront of everyone.
"Alisha, calm down. Whatever taani said, wasn't wrong. She knows my decision yet trying to find reasons to bring us together, is not acceptable. It make things awkward and it is wrong." Rey told alisha as calmly as he could. He picked up his son in his arms and went upstairs in his room.

He slide his arms around her from behind and hugged her tightly, nuzzling his face in crook of her neck. A sigh escaped his lips. He started placing soft feathery kisses down her neck, earning a low moan from her.
"Rey, what are you doing?" She asked in low, nervousness filled tone. Its been a while they had gotten intimate, and with her hormones on high, she doesn't trust herself around him specially when he is so close to her.
"Showing my wife how much i love her." He whispered softly. His voice made her feel fuzzy inside, butterflies were dancing around in her belly in anticipation.
Rey moved his hand, his palm rested flat against her belly. He could feel small swell there and he knew its their baby, breathing inside her. Rey made her turn around, facing him. He leaned to kiss her, but she stopped him by placing her hand on his chest.
"I want ice cream first." Taani pouted cutely.
"Taani? Are you serious?" He stare at her in disbelief.
"Yea. You want kiss, I want ice cream. Give me what i want, I will give what you want." Taani told him while her craving for ice cream was increasing.
"You should have been a business woman, not interior designer." Rey mumbled, surprised seeing his wife's demands but he also knew he had to bring her ice cream else she won't let him go close to her.
"Mango bar." Taani grinned as she told him.
"Sure, ma'am. But i will get my kiss with interest." Rey winked at her before he walked out of the room, leaving a blushing taani behind.
