Chapter 5
After firing in Paro's room, Tejawat leaves the palace with his workers. At the back door of the palace, Tejawat's workers are waiting for him. Tejawat reach there and ask his worker to drive fast and leave the place as soon as possible. Tejawat hides his face and leaves.
At night, Rudra, Aman and the theatre worker reach the old palace road. The worker shows him the places where he used to stick the posters. Finally they reached the destination where Rudra's Paro is there. Rudra parked the jeep near the wall post and inspect the area. Because of darkness they didn't see anything clearly. Only the jeep's head light helps them to see the wall post. Aman took the torch from the jeep and handed it to Rudra who saw the direct opposite place of the poster but he and Aman didn't find the palace. Aman asks Rudra, Sir is this right place or else we are diverted by the criminal Tejawat. Rudra thinks.
Ajay's mother happily sends off her sons. At Bus stand, Sumer and his friend Ajay are in the bus. They both are leaving Chandigarh with new dreams and hope. Sumer saw his purse which was empty, but his friend holds his hand and signs him that he is there for him. Sumer smiles, The Bus starts. They both begin their new journey of life.
At palace, Paro chants "Rudra, Rudra..." After few minutes, she is unable to breathe properly because of the fire smoke which surrounded her room. She gets cough continuously. Then she noticed the fire in her room entrance. She started screaming and called Rudra. Rudra feels someone calling him but he didn't hear Paro's scream. Rudra saw the tyres marker on the old palace road and followed the tyres mark which leads him to the palace. Aman asks the worker about the palace but the worker didn't know about location of the palace.
At haveli, Mohini scold Samrat for not founding Sumer till now. Samrat says I searched him all the wine shops and bars around Chandigarh. Maithili was also there. Danveer came there and says, so that useless person has gone somewhere without telling anything to his beloved mother. Mohini says your brother is the useless person in this haveli and not my son. Danveer angrily says Samrat to leave the hall and both the husband & wife leave the hall. Danveer says hold your tongue Mohini, you always hurts others feeling. Mohini started crying and says no one is there to find my son. Danveer leaves her alone.
Rudra follows the tyres marker which leads him to the old palace and Aman also followed him. They found the old palace. Rudra enters the palace and asks Aman to wait for him and informs this to BSD. Rudra opens the door of the palace. The old palace is full of dark. Rudra searched all the rooms one by one but he didn't find out the exact room where his Paro is there. Rudra says "Where are you Paro".
Maithili serves food to her husband and asked how the day was. Samrat says the day is not so well but the end of the day is fine now. Maithili smiles at him. At kitchen, Maithili pour milk in to the glass and thinks about Paro's dupatta. She came to her room and gave it to Samrat. She is still thinking about it. Samrat asks what happened. She was about to say but stops and says nothing. Both of them smiles.
Rudra and Aman again searched the empty rooms in the palace. Rudra is restless and shouts "Parooo". Paro hears his voice and calls him. She tries to get up but falls. Rudra calls her again. Paro is badly coughing in between she says "Rudra" and faints. Rudra reaches the terrace of the palace and saw a separate small house at the back of the palace. Rudra rushes to the small house and found it locked outside. Rudra shot at the lock of the door. He opens the door of the house.
At BSD, V.K.Singh sir orders the soldiers to reach the designation to catch Tejawat and save Paro who is the only one soul witness against Tejawat. He dismissed the BSD team, his phone rings, he answered his wife Geethanjali who called. He thinks about Parvathi.
Rudra opens the door and smoke hits him. He couldn't see anything inside the room because of the smoke. He runs his hand in air and get inside the house and saw only three rooms there. He opened the doors of the room one by one so that the smoke leaves the room and give him a chance to see well. Rudra's eyes get hurt but he didn't bother about it. Finally he entered the room but he found only woods which are burned by fire and in the next room he found only big size ice cubes. Finally he opened the last room and saw his Paro who is unconscious now. He rushed to her and calls her but there was no response from her. He touched her and found her body temperature is very high. Rudra takes her in his arms and come out of the palace. Aman rushed to the jeep.
Rudra came out of the house to the open place and placed her in his laps and pat her chin and says open your eyes Paro. Paro is still unconscious. Rudra placed her in ground and about to move away from her, but she holds his hand and says "Rudraaa". Rudra softly says "Paro". She didn't open her eyes. Aman gives water bottle to Rudra. Both of them hear the BSD jeeps arrival and Aman leaves.
Rudra splashes water on Paro's face and pat her cheek. Rudra says "Paro wake up". That moment, without open her eyes she says "Rudraaa". Rudra again patted her cheek but there was no response. So he asks her to drink some water. He holds her chin and feed her but she didn't drink it. Restless Rudra couldn't take it anymore, he gulp water in his mouth and hold her chin and says "Sorry Paro" inside his heart. He lowered his head, pressed his hard lips against Paro's soft lips. He feeds her by his mouth, at beginning she didn't drink it, but after few seconds she coughed but he keep on pressing his lips against her and he captured her cough in his mouth. Finally his Paro drink some water. Rudra slowly pulled himself from Paro and asks her to wake up; still she is in the state of unconscious.
Aman and BSD team searched all places surrounded the old palace. Rudra takes Paro in his arm and puts her in his jeep and splashes water on her head. Aman came to Rudra and asked about Paro; he says meet me at BSD hospital and leaves the place.
Rudra drives his jeep as much as faster. He holds her hand and say "stay with me Paro. The sun rises there and lights the place and diminish all the darkness from last night in Paro and Rudra's life.
Pre cap: Paro is in hospital. Rudra is impatiently waiting outside of the ward.
