Ch 15 : Dangerous

Kate, Swayum, Rey and Taani were out on dinner. Taani was happy her brother had forgiven kate and they are again together. They were having their dinner with light conversation when a small gasp escaped her lips, feelings his hand on her thigh, traveling upward which caused her heart to beat faster. She look at him through corner of her eyes, he was busy in talking to swayum like nothing was happening.

There was naughty glint visible in his eyes as he glanced at her. She lowered her eyes and played with her food.

"Taani, why aren't you eating? Didn't you liked the food?" Kate, who noticed she wasn't eating, asked her. Rey turned to face her with stern yet concerned face.

"No. No. Food is good, i was just thinking about something." Taani smiled nervously as answered kate who gave a small nod in response. A shiver ran down her spine feeling his manly hand caressing her thigh.

Rey was having hard time in controlling himself. She was wearing a black knee length tube dress with her hair tied up in messy yet stylish bun with some strands falling on her face, leaving his fingers itching to tuck them behind her ear. Her natural, seductive fruity fragrance has engulf his senses. He was smitten by her beauty all over again.

"Eat properly. I don't like my girl starving herself." Rey leaned toward her and whispered in barely audible tone but enough for her to hear him. She bit her lower lip, her heart skipped a beat at my girl'. Rey grabbed her hand under the table and intertwined his fingers with hers, making her smile shyly as she ate her food.

"Bhai, what do we have in dessert?" Taani turned to her brother and asked him.

"Cheese cake." Swayum smiled at his sister as he answered. Taani nodded her head with a child like smile playing on her lips.

"Taani, when your college is starting?" Kate asked her.

"Next week." Rey beat her to it and answered kate on her behalf. Taani nodded her head in agreement, she was quite excited to start her college life. A completely new phase of her life and she was looking forward to it.

"Thats great! If you wanna go for shopping, i am just a call away." Kate told her with a cheeky smile.

"Thanks. I will be in need of your help-" Taani smiled gratefully at her.

Their dinner ended on a light note. Rey paid off the bills and they walked out of the classy restaurant.

Taani was walking by his side while kate & swayum were walking ahead of them. They headed toward the parking area. Rey wrapped his arm around her and pulled her in warmth of his arms.

"Did you enjoyed?" Rey asked her. Taani hummed in response as she rested her head against his shoulder.

They were walking in serene silence which was ruined when someone came from behind and yanked taani away from Rey by grasping her arm in painful grip, causing a loud shriek to escape her lips.

"Leave her." Rey growled at the man and in a moment, few more men came and surrounded them. Rey look around at them then at taani who looked terrified and wriggling in the hold of the man.

"We are not here for any fight. We just want this girl, give her to us and three of you can leave." The man who was holding taani, said to them.

"Yeah! Over my dead body." Rey growled loudly. His eyes darkened as anger took over him. He signaled swayum to take care of the guy behind him while launched himself at the man who had taani. He let his anger took over him and punched the guy right across his face, causing him to lose his grip on taani.

Rey freed taani from the grip of the man and told her to stand in a corner with kate. As much as she wanted to deny and stay there with him, she obeyed him understanding the depth of the situation.

And soon enough, all the men had surround Rey and Swayum, And the fight begun. Having won many battles of street fighting and underground fight battles, Rey was good in fighting and had an upper hand in handling the local goons sent by mr. khanna to get taani.

Taani watched in horror as her fiance and brother fought against the goons for her. They both were getting injured, causing her heart to bleed as well as made her shudder in fear. She had never seeing their this side. Tears were rolling down her cheeks while kate tried to console her.

"Rey!" She screamed when she saw a man pulled out a knife from his pocket to stab Rey, but at right moment rey dodged him but the man managed to leave a cut on his arm. Rey punched the man across his face. He grabbed his neck, choking him to death.

"Too bad! You should have done some research before coming after her. She is not an ordinary girl you can get, You will have to face me first every f**king time." Rey said to the man in low, dangerous tone. Then he pushed him back on the ground harshly. He & swayum were injured too, but then their bodyguards came and took all the goons in their hold.

"Sir, what should we do with them?" One of the bodyguard, asked him.

"Torture them to death then send them back to Rajesh. He will be happy to see them." Rey commanded with a cruel smile playing on his lips. He turned to swayum who had the same evilness in his eyes. They both are known to be true devil to their enemies, specially rey. He can go to any extent to see his enemy in pain and here, these people had tried to hurt his taani. He won't let them go easily.

Taani felt a chill ran through her spine in fear when she heard him commanding his guards. The looks he & her brother shared, told her it wasn't something new for them and that thought it self was very disturbing. She had always seen them calm and less expressive but lovable around her, and the new side of them, was nothing but scary.

After the guards took all the men away, Rey walked upto taani who was standing near their car with terrified look in her eyes. He sighed, wrapping is arms around her he pulled her in warmth of his arms. Her body stiffen but then she calmed herself which was a tough task since she was still scared.

"Rey, you should have just handed over them to cops." Taani mumbled in meekly low tone. She closed her eyes and buried her face in his chest, trying to calm her ragged breathing. Her eyes still held tears.

"I will kill anyone who will try to hurt you. They should be glad i haven't kill them." He whispered in her ear in dangerously low tone. He grabbed back of her neck in gentle hold and made her look into his eyes. Anger replaced with undying love for her, his featured soften as he continued to gaze down at his girl.

"Rey, lets go home. Its getting late." Swayum's voice broke their trance. They look at him who had kate wrapped around him.

"Dude, I am taking taani with me. You drop kate home." Rey told him, swayum's brows knitted in confusion but then rey gestured toward taani who was still looking horrified by the incident that had taken place few minutes back. Swayum understood looking at his sister's condition, he knew she need someone to comfort her and that some one is Rey.

"Alright. Take care, baccha." Swayum hugged his sister and kissed her head before he left from there in his car with Kate.

"Get in, taani." Rey mumbled as he opened the passenger seat side door for her.

"Where are we going?" Taani asked him, looking at him through her eye lashes.

"Our apartment." Rey answered as he closed the door after she sat inside the car. He hopped in and drove away to their apartment which he had bought recently for her.
