Daadi told Sarla Maa that she took vows too when Pragya took marriage vows. She claimed Pragya is her responsibility, and that Pragya will always be in Mehra house as long as she (Daadi) is alive.
Daadi's grandkids are Aaliyah and Abhi. But Daadi cares for Pragya the most among the three. When Pragya got caught in MMS trap, Daadi went to coma. When Pragya had to leave MM once in her Mogmabo act, Daadi fainted (was it real or fake fainting I am not sure). Daadi just can't tolerate Pragya leaving MM.
On one hand it's understandable that Daadi as an elder wants to assure Pragya and her folks about Pragya's stay in MM.
BUT BUT BUT...
It answers some questions that bothered me.
Daadi's grandkids are Aaliyah and Abhi. But Daadi cares for Pragya the most among the three. When Pragya got caught in MMS trap, Daadi went to coma. But Daadi never fainted or felt that bad when Aaliyah suffered due to Purab's betrayal etc. Nor did she faint when Aaliyah went to jail or when Abhi-Aalu had real big face offs.
And Daadi did not faint or go into coma when Abhi was shot also. Even when Abhi left home, she didn't feel dizzy really.
Of course now, what matters to her is Pragya not being in MM. She doesn't give a damn about Abhi's issues. She has forgotten about Aaliyah.
It's understandable Daadi had "love at first sight" on Pragya when she met her on road once. From then on, she somehow wanted to get her in MM whether Abhi liked Pragya or not. She always played Pragya up against Abhi.. more so in Mogambo track.
Pragya also follows Daadi so much.
Feels like Pragya is Daadi's obsession.. and it's more like she has married Pragya than Abhi. We all know Abhi did not take marriage vows the way they should be taken. But to hear Daadi took them kind of makes sense.😆😕
