I totally can relate to Ishwari.
She was so confident that her Son will share every thing with her specially if he like a girl but was totally devasted not because he loves Sona but because he did not share such a big thing with her.
I guess if we put ourselves in Ishwari's shoes we will understand.
I do, it's not possesiveness but vishwas of a mother in his son.

Sorry - I can't understand Ishwari point of view at all..Or rather I don't want to stress myself in understanding her pov as well..😃 Not worth it as if now.

Ishwari don't want her son to get married.. So far she don't want anyone to come in between her and her son- that line or insecurities is beyond my understanding..

I can understand your point of view and I agree with it but she is also obsessive and possesive. Its not only about Dev not sharing his feelings with her but mostly about how much of an impact Sona is having on him. She can't cope with the fact that there is someone in his life who has about the same relative importance in Dev's life. As in he turns to Sona for advice, listens to her, asks her to do things for him, Etc. She also can't stand that Dev is making decisions for himself, for his life, without asking her for opinion. In short she can't accept that her son is his own man.

I cannot understand her jealousy nature...
There are somethings a man cannot share with a mother..Why must Dev go running to his mummy for everything and why she expects him to do that? He is a grown up man and he knows what and what not to tell mum.

The more i see iswari behaviour , I am not impressed at all...she seems to be jealous of any woman who comes in between her and Dev...

She should be happy that he came for the pooja...but instead here she was very upset that Dev came not because of her but because of Sona. And the fact that Sona was successful and she failed. This she cannot accept...

I can understand to a certain level about insecurities...but now Iswari is a goner and I dread to think about her behaviour towards devaskhi in future...

However, having said this I have full faith in the writers, to balance all aspects among the trio and make it watchable for us without us thinking of plotting and planning to kill Iswari in our minds😆 RR was enough..for that...
