I think it will flow like this :
Dev will sit in the havan and yet Ishwari will seem upset. So Dev will approach Mamaji. Mamaji will explain what Ishwari thought and how confident she was that Dev wouldn't agree. Ishwari would start distancing herself.
Dev will not be able to take it. And in the result all that stress would cause him to fall sick. Sona would tend to him. But Ishwari will ask her to go away.
Dev in his state will take Sona's name. Making Ishwari realise that Sona is important for his well being. So she will agree.
But it will eat her up from inside and RR will fan her insecurities. That Dev will sense. Ishwari will never openly say she has a problem with Sona.
Here even after Ishwari's approval, the main Crurx of the story starts.
