I am not a fan of any of the 6 leads from their previous shows.

As a silent reader, its so annoying to see a few people not allowing neutral viewers of the show to not express their dislike for the character Ishana & the bad acting by the actor playing it.

I didn't like Surbhi Chandana as Anika for the first two days, but the actress impressed me with her acting...initially I thought she looked too old for the actor playing Shivay but she grew on me with time...I have seen Nakul's previous show and didn't like him there but liking him as Shivay, though he is a bit OTT as an Oberoi sometimes, but Surbhi is doing so good as Anika and has started to look better with Shivay as a couple, be it comic scenes or intense or romantic...she has been good till now.

Coming to Ishana...haven't seen the actress ever...seeing her for the first time and everytime she appears on screen, she is plain annoying...I saw a huge fan following for Omkara from the very first day and he is definitely worth it, but first of all an intense guy like him falling in love with a con girl, the concept itself is a fail plus the actress has completely spoiled it for me...

People are defending her saying she is a superb dancer, but her dance was so not impressive the first day...I was just exchanging glances with my family while she was dancing thinking what the hell she is doing...🤢

Nakul is a fabulous dancer too...which I saw for the first time in the recent Star television awards where Ishqbaaz was introduced by him, but being a good dancer doesn't mean you have to show all the skills at once...its a daily soap not some dance reality show where u have to impress someone by being so OTT...she could have kept it sobre and simple 🥱

The actress has so badly failed to impress in 3 days time, not a single scene which I would want to rewatch...I was looking forward to the 3 girls entry and romance to start but now no more for Omkara...I loved his acting but this girl is just not fitting opposite him till now...

And its so annoying where people are just praising the actress like anything where people are giving a neutral opinion on her acting just because they are a fan of her from her previous show🥱 Telling others to go watch Saas Bahu or lecturing them on how good a dancer or actor she is, how many awards she has won is so not going to help

I always fall in love with a character more than the actor playing it...if I like a character in one show and the actor playing it, not necessary I will like him in his next show too and force others to like him too by lecturing them.

I am sure there are many like me who are not a fan of any of the six leads and watching the show because of a new concept and looking forward to a good story instead of just romance from the leads...because I am equally looking for to Tej and Jhanvi's story too along with the three brothers and some family drama as well...! Every character is getting justified amount of screen time, just because a particular person likes one couple more doesn't mean that couple will only get the screen time and others have to be ignored...🥱

I just wanted to vent this out coz its annoying where any normal topic becomes Ishana AT🥱

I am so looking forward to Soumya and Rudra's story too...m sure its going to be a cute one.

Plz don't tell me to watch another show or Vrushika's previous show...its an open forum and there is a reason if people have not watched her previous show when it was on, why would they watch it now...and if someone finds the topic repetitive, yes it is...as many topics bashing people expressing their opinion on Ishana, there need to be a few topics like this too.

Lolz initially i did not like Anika as well But her acting has been improved and now she is looking ok with Nakuul.

For me Ishana is annoying but lets see. She might improve in future

chill girl chilll see its just simple see wat u like and if not then just fast forward it I do agree dat we are free to express our opinion and saying dat actor isn't acting well isn't exactly bashing but only few get dis ...so just ignore

coming to surbhi ...am very very glad people are liking her acting

vrushika give her time re if also not working then just ignore ...yes d characterization is big let down and to d top omkara riddima look very happy so good reason should be given y it won't work out

chill yaar..m also here for the show and I am not fan of any leads either..watched some episodes of their previous shows may be but don't remember which one..😆...and I agree with you.at first I also thought Surbhi won't look good with Nakuul..but she just proved me wrong...she is awesome as Anika..and now I can't imagine anyone else as Anika except Surbhi..Nakuul is also doing great as Shivay...and I am liking one thing the most that in the angry scenes he is not shouting at all..like some previous male characters of old Gul shows...he don't shout that's the good thing...well I had lot's of hope from IshKara..I still have but till now Ishana didn't impress me at all...but still m ready to give her some time as the show just started...she can improve too like Surbhi...so I can wait...but I just want thing...stop showing her dance...she can do something else instead of dancing...

First of all, take a deep breath and relax. Its a fictional show, not real life, that it requires so much aggression. With all due respect, and acknowledging the constructive feedback that will help her improve, I really don't get people's targetting Ishaana/Vrushika with the whole OTT business. I mean the entire show is over the top for God's sake, and thats a fact. People are constantly throwing water and cow dung/mud at each other, the family drama always looks like its a hybrid of Amitabh's scenes from Mohabbatein and K3G, and diamonds are falling out of people's hairs. Like the whole package is over the top. I mean even India-Forums articles are now being published regarding that and the terrible treatment of female characters. And you should read the comments of that article to get a mirror look of what people think of the so called lead characters whom you've grown to love so much. So there's no denial of it. And yet people are going on about one character being more energetic and chirpy than Omkara. And that difference is seen more only because of the stark difference of him being extremely calm, which people really aren't in reality, and her being more chirpy than people are in reality.

And with Vrushika's dance, obviously her training in contemporary, jazz, and versatility in hip hop and many other forms is not going to be shown in a song like "Baby Ko Bass", or even "Cham Cham" for that matter. The choreographies are stay bollywood for both songs. That does for the time being require you to check out her D3 performances if you're interested. And look outside the window, she's being strongly appreciated for her scenes so far across sns, and that also is a fact. I'm not taking away the constructive criticism that will help her, as she herself is a strong endorser of feedback for herself to learn and grow, but the one-sided rant is not necessary either. Also, how is her characterization got anything to do with Vrushika, thats the director/cvs call, including the script given to her. If you have a problem with that, its a different complain and should be directed to right people, not pushing those complaints on her instead. I'd rather see a charming con-girl with also dancing skills anytime over people throwing water/cow dung at each other all day (pls dont start fan wars with this, i'm talking only about the SCRIPT, not the actors/characters of shiv/anika).

Overall, just enjoy the show as a whole instead of pinpointing one small thing or the other, because there are huge flaws in logic, characters, story, and many other things. Its only the beginning, not the end. And while others were casted almost a year ago and underwent preparation since then, she's learning only on the job, thus will take some time to get into the character, which she's already doing in an accelerated manner. So lets just be supportive and let the show takes its own course, as well as give constructive feedback along the way.

Those dancing sequences are planned by cvs not vrushika so I don't understand y everyone is blaming her for that.Rest of the post is ur opinion and I have nothing to say.Not only ishana fans any fans get hyper when their fav is criticised.Few days back anshi were criticized especially nakul then his fans did support him.If they get personal with TM or show direspectful behaviour one can always report.This is an open forum.everyone can put their views forward but then be ready to face their fans too.Like anyone cant stop u from posting ur views one cant stop the fans to defend their fav.
