Gopi's character has no logic

So let me get this straight, Gopi is married to another man now yet lives in her ex-husband's house with her in-laws? What kind of twisted, incestuous logic is this. I know Indian dramas are infamous for strange things like reincarnation etc, but this is pure bullshit lol. The woman is starting up a stereotypical business too, couldn't she have thought of anything beyond saris? She is clearly still oppressed within that ideology. She needs to move along to her in laws or get her own home with her husband and stop trying to start a war with her in laws. In Indian logic she is probably doing something right, but in the English world, she looks pathetic sniffing around like that. Also is she Bengali by any chance, her features and small height illustrate it, or I could be wrong.
