A good news. We no need to make hot topics for post count. I spoke with the mod Jyoti di and she told me. Only by creating a new topic is enough it seams.

namaste ji,I am Pearl. As I informed you earlier we are creating the memories of ghsp by posting the episodes from the start. Some are still silent, and not actively participating that's why we made a mission #12000 pages.
Now everyone started being active and are posting everything related to ghsp.
So can you please give me some tips of our mission #12000 pages. I mean we have created many posts nearly 50 but only one page changed. Some members are saying that we need to make a hot topic (red color posts) or else the post will not be in count. Is it true. Please as a mod can you please suggest me some tips for our mission. :-)

U can make posts related to every episodeof geet from episode 1 onwardsbut I dont get why u need to reach any target of pages .. it wont help in forum ranking as its a off air show forum . so no use of increasing pages .. u can get forum active by one post itself if it has replies from all active members ...increasing pages will only come under spamming

hehehe...we used that target so that silent readers will be active...:-D and is it true that only hot topics are considered as posts

hot topics thing come into play if forum is competiting with the ranking of IF but because its off air forum , so there is no such thing as hot topics ..any topic that u create will b counted

OK thank you... but why is the page number not changing...is it locked? or is it the page limit.--

page number changes after 15 posts i think .. but why is it important for page number to change ..even if it dont change ,does not mean forum is not active .. as long as members r posting , it should b fine

ipkknd forum mod made the mission to have highest number of pages#10000 pages after the show completed they took almost two years to reach the limit. So we are thinking the same.-

Its may be because ipk has more members than Geet. Thats why they reached the pages.
