The actress has given a green signal to a Dharma film starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

Katrina Kaif, who has only one release this year " Baar Baar Dekho with Sidharth Malhotra " is making sure that her calendar is full next year. The actress has three films lined up in 2017, one of which is the recently bagged Dharma Productions' project, also starring Fawad Khan. The actress apparently turned down another Dharma film featuring Sushant Singh Rajput earlier on, citing date issues. She is also said to have been unhappy about the fact that it was a hero-centric film. The production house on its part is unperturbed, of course. Says a source, "Katrina and Karan have been meeting each other to discuss various scripts and she has liked one role offered to her by Karan. It will be directed by a new director Aditya Dhar. Kat has a great professional and personal rapport with Karan and he respects her decision of not doing a film. When the right time came, Karan discussed another project with her and that worked out quite well. She has also got a narration of the script."

The details about this film are still under wraps. This is Fawad's second Dharma film after Kapoor and Sons. As for the role opposite Sushant, Jacqueline Fernandez bagged it in time.

Lucky Kat. Fawad can create chemistry with a pole. She won't need to act much. Fawad will do it all for both

I have a strong feeling that Ran Kat are not broken up and all this is a drama because they want to be back in the game like how people watch Ranbir Deepika movies. So Ayan siding with Ranbir and Karan siding with Katrina for the public but they all are in it together. Two birds in one stone. Everyone was bored of RanKat so they thought they will get people watch their movies like RanDeep and Deepika who is always linked to Ranbir because of ex factor so now Kat will be the current ex and not Deepika hence Deepika will lose ground.

I'm happy that Fawad at least signed a solo hero project. Good for him 👍🏼

I find it funny how Karan is offering her all these scripts yet she can't act well and still struggles in speaking Hindi.
