Sabeer ‘Hotmail’ Bhatia set to marry

One of the most eligible bachelors in the country is taken. Sabeer Bhatia got engaged to Tania Sharma, his long time friend. Tanya is an MBA with and has also doce a course from the London School of Economics. She is a director in Goodcare Pharma, a company owned by her family which makes products under the brandname Baidyanath.

A close friend of Sabeer's reveals, "Tania is a beautiful person, outside and inside. She has been a family friend of the Bhatias for eight years and Sabeer's mom was really keen on having her as the bahu. Finally, Sabeer gave in as he thought marriage was the right thing to do now."

The roka (Punjabi ceremony for engagement) happened on November 28 at Sabeer's house in Bangalore. While that function just had close friends and family attending, the big engagement party happened last night. The party had about 100 guests coming in to wish the newly engaged couple.

In the past, Sabeer has been linked to Bollywood actors Yukta Mookhey and Aishwarya Rai. He was also earlier engaged to Geetha Oberoi, a Washington-based lawyer, but the marriage was later called off for some reason.
