Sona's family, a wasted opportunity?

The Dixit family (the story is mainly focused on them) have a back story as well as issues they need to work through. There is a lot of focus on their issues, screen space given to serious and meaningful interactions between them. When watching them on screen the series appears to be an emotional drama.
However, the Bose family scenes have the flavour of a sitcom! The creatives started out by setting up the characters fairly decently. However of late they seem to be relegated to providing comic relief only!!

A lighter treatment for their scenes to lighten the mood of the show is fine. To some extent it even serves the purpose of showing that Sona is a fairly happy and sorted soul because of their laid back approach.

The opportunity they seem to be missing is showing how Sona is mature and sorted and is equipped to handle the complex Dixit family situation/characters by virtue of her upbringing. It would be nice to see conversations with her dadi/mom/dad talking about the work they put in to be where they are now. her dadi and mon have a great relationship, surely there is a great learning there on how to manage this relationship. Sona is just 25/26. She clearly cannot be an expert on human relationships by herself! It is ok to show the contribution of her family members in making her the way she is. A person is also unique because of their upbringing..

This will not take away from her character, rather it just makes her and everything about her more interesting..

Yes it actually would be interesting to see Sona's family helping her in some decisions or talking with her on serious matters
