p/s: Not one ounce of guilt at his wrongdoing, Tej was only upset that his son tried to kill himself. So if Omkara, his beloved son, tried to commit suicide because of his impending divorce to his mom, would he break it off with Svetlana then??

I agree with you about Om and Svetlana having common past but I have a slightly different version of prediction than you. I feel Svetlana chased Om in the past and Om didn't give in, so she turned to Tej to achieve her Mrs. Oberoi dreams. In one of the previous episodes when Om and she had a small encounter, Om's face didn't show any pain, if indeed he had loved her in the past and she had dumped him then there would be atleast some pain, anger, frustration on his face given how emotional Om is.
